The two forms of proof you've asked me for are literally impossible to produce: one is a letter that, as you yourself state, I sent to your offices; by definition, I could not possibly have that letter in my possession.  The other is "proof" of a call that occurred months ago. I have a new phone now; you could hardly set a higher burden of proof upon me.
Please consider this: I had to make four clarifying calls to my local branch to physically submit something via snail mail. It's 2017; such a simple service should be readily available online—and yet you're putting the burden of proof on me?I appreciate that you somehow still had my second physical letter after all these months and simply had overlooked it upon receipt. I hope you'll be able to find my first letter too. You should've received it in late November or early December. If you had offered a digital channel, I'd likely be able to pinpoint the exact details for you.Finally, I appreciate you bringing my attention to your email address; however, nowhere in my contract does it state that your email was to be used for cancellation purposes. You do not have any emails from me because I followed the policies and procedures that your contract states—despite significant inconveniences and setbacks on Crunch's part—and was failed nonetheless.You can't have such an onerous process and then demand such a high level of proof when something goes wrong—especially when I've already followed up time and time again. Offer a simpler way instead. Please refund me for December and January.Thank you,[redacted]

Once again, this response and its overly simplistic comparison to "providing a store with a receipt in order to return an item" does not respond to one of the key questions in my complaint, which asks for more details about the relationship between [redacted] and [redacted]. Furthermore, the business has provided no response to another key question, which is why I never received communications from Crunch [redacted]) regarding the transition of memberships at this facility. Based on the facts of the case, and pursuant to Sections 625 ('Assignment of Contract for Services'), 627 ('Contracts void and unenforceable') and 628 ('Private rights of action') of the Health Club Articles of the New York State (NYS) General Business Law (as promulgated by the NYS Division of Licensing Services), Crunch Fitness is violating the law and I will be pursuing legal remediation of my claims immediately.

Good Morning-My name is Shane the GM for Crunch Glenside. I have reviewed the account pertaining to [redacted] PT agreement and she signed for a 6 month deal not a 3 month, a copy would have been sent to her email, and she has used sessions from the last payment that she claims a refund a for. No refund...

is warranted and her agreement runs through June as her final payment. If she would like to suspend the last two months for a while due to a hardship I will gladly put pt on freeze for up to 3 months as a courtesy. Please see attached for her signed agreement.Thank you,

We're sorry to learn your are not satisfied with our response however, we cannot honor your dispute at this time. I have your membership's terms and conditions on screen and see you had a few options to terminate your membership. Within your agreement terms, we provide a P.O. Box where you can mail your certified letter to as well as offer forms in our club which no letter has been received here nor a cancellation filed in the club. Furthermore, the final line of your agreement reads, "If you have any questions regarding the Agreement or these Terms and Contidions please contact Crunch Member Services at [redacted] or email Crunch at [redacted]. Again, no record of your cancellation exists on file. In addition, our website has an FAQ section towards the bottom of the page which after selecting them, will show a series of topics with cancellation being one of them and actually guides you to reach out to your location for information on cancellation.
Please email me using the email provided with your proof of cancellation for further and final review.

Again, I receive a copy of the agreement only post to me contacting the Crunch customer service department. It wasn't presented to me during the initial sign-up nor was it emailed or mailed to me, and it wasn't even mentioned to me by the Crunch associate at the desk. I understand it's a business and I've seen numerous banners outside of Crunch facilities advertising discounted membership. (Why I thought I would join in the first place). While advertising of one thing with motives of selling another, might be excellent for marketing and sale. Those practices can also been seen as dishonest, misleading and in my opinion borderline criminal. Frankly, I don't see how much more faulty this situation can be,  base on the language of your associate I was left if the impression that what I was paying for was the $8** for that month, I wasn't informed that my account would be billed every month and will be charge a yearly service charge. If I was I would of canceled on this spot because I like said I was in Brooklyn only for that weekend and would use the gym only for that weekend. And lets not forget that  even after I contact customer service informing the department, that not only was I nolonger using the facility but to also cancel whatever subscription was setup. Regardless of that the following month I was still billed for the month subscription and a heffy $40.00 for some annual fee. (For my 1 weekend only visit)

There is no reason I should have to provide a doctor's note to cancel my membership in Crunch. It was more than two years ago that I first tried to cancel my membership, when the gym was owned by Boom, before it was bought by crunch.  I have cancelled in person, in writing and on the phone. I have paid hundreds of dollars in membership fees I should not have had to pay. I finally had to change my credit card number to escape them and yet they are still hounding me. although my initial reason for canceling is long past, I have never returned there. crunch is more of an ongoing criminal enterprise than a business. I hope the Revdex.com can convince them to finally leave me alone.
