I am rejecting this response because:
I did not receive a refund from the company, they sent me a lousy $check which is not even close to that they owe me.

The customer requested to cancel their policy, we pulled the phone conversation and the refund has been issued as of 10/23/directly back to their credit card
We will proceed with cancelling the customers contract as requestedThe customers contract will be cancelled per section of their signed warranty agreementThe customer signed their contract and by doing so accepted all our terms and conditionsA technician was already approved for repairs on their ice makerIf the repairs were completed and the customer is stating that the issue still happens then will need to call the contractor to come back out to the home to check the issue and make repairs or advise if there is an additional problemNo additional funds due at this time
We do apologize for any inconvenience we have refunded the customers credit card the requested amount of $

On 04/14/the customer placed a claim with Select Homefor their refrigerator. Select HomeWarranty did immediately try to locate a technician in the area, but theimmediate one available were not in close proximity to the customer. We did advise the customer that we would be more
thanwilling to work with them if they could contact a local Repair company and havethe technician come out to assess the issue with the refrigerator.The customer stated that they did not want to take thisalternative resolution and requested to cancel the policy. The customer did not give us a chance to beable to work out this matter. We calledthe customer again on 04/24/to see if they were willing to allow us towork out the matter, the customer refused and stated they wanted to can justcancel.Select Home Warranty will honor the customer request forcancellation per the Terms of Agreement of cancellationThe customer is entitled to a pro-rated refund at thenon-discounted rate
Claims reimbursements can take up days to arriveYour check has already been sent and should arrive in a few dayscheck number *** mailed to customer
Select Home Warranty has advised the customer that werequire maintenance records, the customer stated that they provide maintenanceon their own.Select Home Warranty will accept preventative maintenancerecords from a licensed HVAC technician that includes a checklist ofmaintenance performed as well
as an invoice and proof of payment.We cannot accept their word that it was performed just as amedical insurance will not cover you if you have your uncle perform your openheart surgery. Select Home Warranty is asking that the customer understandwhere we are coming from and that we would be more than happy to just acceptevery customer that states they maintain their own unit, but that would meanthat the trained professional would no longer be needed. The customer is aware that we require themaintenance unfortunately we will not be able to move forward

I am rejecting this response because: There was no service done on 9/30/Person looked at my appliance and Select rejected claim to have my appliance repairedClaiming "The problem was not covered by the warranty"If you read just about all other complaints this excuse seems to be the norm for themSo I reject what they say

I am rejecting this response because: I specifically discussed the appliances (including the refrigerator) I had, and I was told they were covered After filing the refrigerator claim I was told it wasn't covered Select Home Warranty misrepresented the coverage Therefore, I want my full purchase of $refunded In addition, I had to call over and over to get any assistance from them, they have horrible customer service and make promises to call back and never did

This Renewal contract has nothing to do with my filed complaintTheir actions in-regard to the filed complaint are on the Contract that expires on 7/17/This claim was against the contract in force now and not the future oneTheir actions are the reasons I cancelled the up and coming contractThe money they say they are refunding was for a contract renewalThis is exactly how these people do business

IN my home warranty policy it states that the roof repair was covered in my policyI asked the authorization manager to email me written proof of why my roof leak was not covered despite my warranty stating that it does and he refusedI want what I paid for in my policy and what my policy clearly covers

We have not received years maintenance records by a licensed technician as stated in section The customer has already been approved for the policy limit.Please see the terms 9.1.2. You are responsible for providing maintenance and cleaning by a licensed technician on covered items to ensure continued coverage on such itemsSelect reserves the right to request prior years (3) maintenance records and/or pictures, without proper maintenance records and pictures the maximum payout on any system/appliance is up to $
The customer has been provided the secure your technician option as they have already been informed that all available technicians that work with warranty companies have a week appointment periodIf the customer wishes to cancel their contract please confirm so that we may process their request
