I am rejecting this response because: Mr*** did not offer me a $reimbursementIf he had, I would have accepted it and been satisfiedHe plainly told me that it wasn't covered due to what the Select Home Warranty rep typed as the plumber's response which was untrueHowever, if they would like to contact me and offer me the $reimbursement I would accept and put this to restAgain, I stress, the plumber never told them it was a "slab leak"

Unfortunately, without the requested three years maintenance records the maximum allowance will remain at $If the customer can provide us with the documents needed we can review their claim for an additional allowanceNo additional funds due at this time

The cutomer is leaving out parts of the non covered issues on the policyThe policy DOES NOT COVER water heater leaks for any reasonPlease see section "This Agreement does NOT cover solar or tankless water heating systems or the components thereofThis Agreement does NOT cover the following list of modules, components and parts relating to the water heating system:(i) flues; (ii) drain piping; (iii) pressure reducing valve; (iv) leaks(v)pumps" Furthermore the customer has made a small claims court against us where we will be fighting this over there.The customer claims have been denied according to the policy agreement

Select Home Warranty would like to apologize if providingproof of payment seems like much to require, but, we have many people who havefiled claims and at this time the only proof of payment we do accept isthe statement if paid by credit card.We have hundreds of customers send in proof of payment on adaily basis, the customer can black out parts they do not want us to see andsend us the copy, along with the name and address f the customer listed.We do understand not all customers are trying to take advantage,but, we have to make sure it does not happen with any customers any more.We have not flat out denied the customer, we are willing togive half of the amount until the proof payment is received

The customers claim has been authorized for the $The contractor will be notified that the claim has been authorized for repairsPlease contact them within hours if they do not call you to schedule an appointment

I am rejecting this response because: Im only getting a partial refund, instead of a full refundthe amount of
food wasted due to this companies negligence, far out weighs the other portion of the refund I'm gettingAnd it didn't seem they even cared about me noto getting my refrigerator worked worked on at all.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI'm still not happy with this companies service and wish I had never let my old home warranty go to change to them, but I want this matter done and over with so I will accept the refund of my money and end contact with them, they still cost me $for repairs out of my own pocket that would have been covered with my old policyI still say they are fraudulent and run a very corrupt business with bad customer service

the unitThe wanted to cancel my policy in full and refund me policy costMy AC unit needs to be fixedThis business is a jokeThey would rather cancel policy and give money back instead of sending tech out to fix the issueI need help with this situation.

We spoke to the customer and a technician is going out

We did speak with the customer and explained why his issue falls outside of the coverage

We will go ahead and proceed to cancel this customers contractA pro rated refund will be calculated and a check will be mailed out to the customer

Select Home Warranty has been trying to reach out to the customer since 02/17/2015, in order to resolve the issue of the claim.On 12/26/the customer contacted Select Home Warranty to place a claim for the Speed Queen Dryer, the customer was advised that they can secure their own technician.The
customer sent in an invoice in on 2/16/2015, we did request for pictures and the model & serial number as well, while we review the invoice.The Dryer required a new motor, the customer had the work done and submitted the invoice for review, we determined that the repairs are worth more than the actual repairs andhave offered the customer a reimbursement of 100.00.We are more than willing to work on the issue of the settlement that was initially offered with the customer, once the customer returns our phone calls.Select Home Warranty has been trying to reach out to the customer since 02/17/2015, in order to resolve the issue of the claim

The customers check has been mailed as of Thursday, January 2015, please allow 7-business days to receive it in the mail

Unfortunately the customer is not eligible for a refund as multiple claims were submitted during their warranty terms and contractors were assigned and repairs were completedWith respects to the claim currently being processed the customer was informed on 8/1/that we are in the process of
locating a technicianThe customer has been offered to secure their own technician but are refusing to do soWe are working very hard on finding a contractor but it is a very busy time of year for contractors in this customers neighborhoodIf the customer wishes they can still secure their own technician or allow us to continue to locate a tech

The request for three years of maintenance records is a ridiculous demand to a residential private individualIt’s simply not what the average person does, and fails the Reasonable expectation doctrineYou’ve simply inserted this clause in your policies to escape ever paying a payoutI’m glad to have cancelled my policy from a company like yours!
