I am rejecting this response because: Select Home Warranty and I had a contractThe contract was if I had a problem with a system in my home they would find a technician to come out give a diagnosis and repair the issueThis never happened, times I was told a technician would comeTwice the technician never showed up and once they said they didn't service my areaIf I would have wanted to find my own tech why would I need themIf they would have contacted the plumber that came to my house and found the problem like they said they would they would have discovered that the leak was coming from a crack in the drain pipe and there was a crack in the internal cold water lineInstead they made their own diagnosis without seeing the problem or talking to the person that hadWhen I submitted the quote the customer service representative said that was steep, this should have told me then that they just didn't want to pay for the repair.

My request was for complete reimbursement of my contract as they did not meet the deadlines of this to be handled. That there was not an approval to do work when they were hereHe also said they had to wait for an additional approval from Select and that would take another to business days. Then it would take another week minimum to get the part ordered and then make another appointment for it to be repaired. SO this was at least another two weeks after all of this. days to repair a washing machine is a complete failure of this program. This is when I said I would not pay in advance for a repair not made. My information was not only from the repairmen sent to me, but additionally the manager is who called me and gave me all the other information about the delays and approvals and them not stocking nor sending part with repairman.I have already had the washing machine repaired. It was the pump as I told them to begin withThe part was $and $to install it. Two days for repairman to come out with part and minutes to exchange parts.This is why I want my money back, this whole situation and what kind of scam this appears to be.If I have to go to public media and the Attorney General I will just to save others this headache

We spoke with the customer and offered a full refund or $towards his claimThe customer chose $towards his claimWe have already received the signed reimbursement form and a check will arrive in 7-days

We have tried numerous times to reach the customer but have not heard backThe customer may call Mr *** at ###-###-#### for help with this issue

Select Home Warranty has spoken with the customer and have issued a refund directly to the customers credit card Please acknowledge attached refund receipt

The customer is not owed a full refund.The customer is only eligible for a full refund if they cancel their contract within the first days of coverageSince the customer purchased their contract in they are not eligible for a full refundThe customers contract has been cancelled per

The customer purchased the policy on 07/10/2014, and coverage started days after the initial purchase. Select Home Warranty requested pictures and records on 12/10/the same day that the technician, *** *** went out to the home.On 12/12/while the claim was still in review the customer called and requested to cancel the policy, we received another email on 12/16/for the contract to be cancelled.The customer did not give us a chance to review the claim in full, at the time cancellation is requested we are no longer required to move forward in the review process.Select Home Warranty has refunded the customer in the amount of on December 24, directly to their credit card

Customer did contact us to discuss IT issues and not the initial claim, we have tried to resolve this issue with the customer apologize that he does not agree with the terms of the agreement as well as the technicians diagnosis

We did speak with the customer and are sending an additional $check

The policy limits are clear in the terms and the customer has already been approved for the policy limitThey are not due any more funds at this time

Warranty will repair any mechanical part that failscaused the *** to not operate. The door boot/door boot sealseal is also the entry point for water during the fill cycleIf thewasher is leaking water, the front door boot seal might have atear or rip and is letting water leak pastThe boot seal cantear when the washer is overloaded. Our policy states that we send a technician to the home,once the technician arrives he is to be paid the deductible, that is thecustomers responsibility whether an item is covered or not per the Terms ofAgreement.We do understand the customers concern and apologize for anymisunderstanding regarding the actual coverage for the washing machineTherepair is not of a mechanical failure and we are unable to cover the repair Select Home Warranty has handled two previous claims for thecustomer and have satisfied each claim, we have also satisfied our contractual obligation regarding the washingmachine claim by sending a technician to the home and diagnosing the issue, andunfortunately in this case we are not able to move forward with the repair, norare we able to refund the deductible.Select Home Warranty would be more than happy to assist thecustomer in any way and look forward to continuing to service their needs

I am rejecting this response because: The representative for Select Warranty (*** ext.**) was only able to discuss a partial refund regarding my warranty renewal payment which was $439.00. He had no new or additional information regarding my complaint, which was for the complete reimbursement of the repair cost I had incurred of $due to his companies refusal to cover the repair per their contractAfter more than an hour of being placed on hold and two disconnections I was told that he (***) would call me back because he did not have my complete file before him and would need to speak to billingThis is more than typical for this company to continually give customers the run around
