Please review the following as it is stated in our policy.See Below: Select’s OptionSelect shall have the sole and exclusive option to:(i) Select the Independent Service Technician to perform repair services;(ii) In the event a covered system or appliance is deemed irreparable or it is not cost effective to repair, Select may replace the system or appliance with a system or appliance of like capacity, the price of which shall not exceed the depreciated value of the system or appliance being replaced;(iii) In lieu of replacing a system or appliance that is deemed irreparable or it is not cost effective to repair, said determination being made by Select, Select may choose to pay a cash settlement for the irreparable component of the system or applianceSelect is not responsible for installationThe cash settlement shall be in an amount not to exceed the depreciated value of the component/appliance being replaced;(iv) Select the manufacturer, make and model of any replacement parts used in the repair of the defective system or appliance; and(v) Obtain a second opinion with regard to the cost of replacement without any additional cost to You. These terms are listed in the policy that the customer had read and agreed to when they signed, initialed, and returned the policy

Customer was informed that freon is not covered in their contractSince the customer purchased their warranty in August they are no longer eligible for a full refundPlease refer to section 13.2: Cancellation by YouYou may cancel this Agreement within thirty (30) days from the
Order Date of this Agreement, as set forth on the schedule page accompanying this AgreementIn the event you cancel within the thirty (30) day period, the You shall be entitled to a full refund if and only if, no service has been provided under the contractAfter the thirtieth day, you may receive a refund pro-rated at the non-discounted annual plan costA $cancellation fee will be charged and any service costs incurred by Select Home service contract. Since the customer requested to cancel after the first days their contract will be cancelled per the above terms

we have already approved the customer as per the policy terms and have even increased the reimbursementWe will process a prorated refund to the customer and waive the cancellation fee

Select Home Warranty will contact the customer in order to go over how we calculate the pricing for a unit that is over years old

response because when Mr ***, from Select Home Warranty called me, I specifically asked for a refund of my premium and he said it would be pro-rated. I would accept a full return of my premium payment as a full resolution of this issue

The customers full refund is currently being processed for issuanceAs soon as the check is issued we will have it mailed out to the customers address as requested

Select Home Warranty is mailing a refund check to the customer as of 2/16/

The diagnosis from the contractor came back as a Freon leakaccording to the policy Freon and Freon leaks are not coveredPlease see section 6.3.6. This Agreement does NOT cover window, wall or zone systems or portable air conditioning unitsThis Agreement does NOT cover (i) air filters; (ii) Freon; (iii) Freon recapture; (iv) geothermal systems; (v) gas or propane air condition systems; (vi) air filtration systems; (vii) humidifiers; (viii) registers; (ix) grills; (x) stands; (xi) jacks; (xii) condenser casings; (xiii) pads; (xiv) vents; (xv) flues; (xvi) clogged lines; (xvii) condensation leaks; (xviii) mismatched systems; (xix) damaged ducts; (xx) improper wiring; and (xxi) improper piping;(xxii)freon leaks;(xxiii)damage caused by freon leak. At this point there is nothing more we can do

Select Home Warranty has just received the customer's invoice and will be sending the reimbursement form for the amount of which is the maximum amount for the payout on the pool

We did have an issue getting a technician to the customers houseWe did speak to the customer and have offered a free service call and a cash reimbursement as a good willthey may also get a full refund if they choose tooThey will get back to us

The customers reimbursement check has already been mailed

We do apologize and have removed the customer from all marketing lists

We spoke to the customer todayWe agreed to help the customer with their situation by sending a check for $the check number is the check will be mailed today and can take 5-days to arrive

The customer has been informed that vents/range hood are not covered under their warranty agreement.Please refer to section The customer stated that the vent over the stove is not working which is the range hoodThat is excluded from the customers agreement. Oven/Range/Stove Top
This Agreement covers all modules, components and parts of the gas or electric oven, range and stove top necessary to the functionality of the oven, range and/or stove top.(i) Burners (ii) control boards (iii)thermostats (iv) broilers (v) temp controls (vi) heating elements (vii) igniter (viii) ignition module (ix) spark ignitersExcluded: (i) range hood; With respects to the customers A/C unit, the customer was informed that they had $left on their allowance as they have already been reimbursed in January for their A/C System ClaimNo additional funds due at this time If the customer wishes to proceed with cancelling their contract we can proceed per section of their warrantyPlease confirm if you wish to cancel your contract

We did speak with the customer and gave them free service call for the issues they have had

We have already given a refund to the credit card we have on file that paid for the policyWe have waived the cancellation fee and did not deduct claims pad out from the refund amount
