At the present time we are undergoing major changes within our departmentsAs of the next few weeks a lot of the customers dispatching/contractor concerns will be resolved as we have significantly increased our contractor databaseIn addition, customers going forward will have the ability to locate where their contractor is (i.e en route to customers homes)We are a undergoing significant changes within our company over the course of the next few weeks and we hope to address all of the customers concerns going forwardWith respects to the customers reimbursement a check has already been issued and mailed out on 2/1/and they should be receiving it any day now
THe customer was contacted and advised that we would be covering up to in repairs, as we requested maintenance records that the customer was not able to provide a this time
The customer has been issued a refund directly back tot heir credit card as of 06/02/
Select Home Warranty secured a technician for the customer and they did go to the home, they stated they needed to order the heating element, during that time, the customer proceeded to callthe technician and was rude tot them.The technician stated that they would not be going back to the customers
home and will not finish the job, they have been working with us for years and we have never had an issue with them.The cusotmer was informed that they would have to secure their own technician at this time and we will move forward from that point

I am rejecting this response because: I cancelled the policy long before you indicated I called in to cancel the policy a little after 30d I was told by a supervisor employed by you company I would receive a full refund of $which is what you issued the check for Only after I started filing for my money back through my CC company did you change the amount due to me I only started initiating the disputes because I had to call two or three times for my refund Now you are saying I owe you a dispute fee The dispute fee should be charged to your company not the customer because of the following reason: If I would have filed for my additional $I would have received that in full as well because my dispute was valid Based on my experience and conversations had with your customer call center information had been provided to me that I was due the full refund The $you indicate that is a "full refund" is not Please make the situation good by honoring your initial agreement

We did speak to the customer and helped with a reimbursement
I have just received the refund from Select
We received documentation on 6/5/for the claims managers/authorizations department to reviewAt that time the customer was informed that they need to wait a minimum of 24-hours in order to review this claimThe customer was informed on 6/7/(which was not even a full hours that the claim was still in review and should receive a call by 6/8/the latest)The customer then proceeded with the claim on their own and on 6/8/advised us that the repairs were already completed without authorizationThe claim was subsequently deniedThe customer then requested to cancel their contract on 6/9/at which point the cancellation was processedThe customer received a refund of their May installment on 6/12/No additional funds are due at this time
Select Home Warranty has been in contact with the customer and the local news the customer had contact us and explained that per the policy the customer in only entitled to the which the maximum amount allowed for the first days
Select Home Warranty did not state that the issue is due tot a freon leak, the issue was due tot he unit being years old and parts, most likely the unit need to be replaced.We did advise the customer that we would cover the parts, fan relay and transformer, which the would cover, but, we
are unable to cover installation
As a courtesy we increased the customers allowance to cover for the part only and the customer refusedPer our contract in the event that repairs need to be be made and approval is provided Select would cover for the cost of the part but labor is not includedWe are covering the part for this
claim as we would per our contract and the customer needs to be responsible for installation/labor. Please refer to the last sentence in Section of the customers contract: This policy covers mechanical breakdowns, it does not cover shelves, door handles, doors, hinges, knobs and buttons, door seals, displays, latches, timers, leveling equipment, clogged drains or lines, cosmetic issues, gaskets, leak searches, lights, noise, refrigerants, valves,dispensers,installation, electrical failures

I have spoken with and sent them numerous emails, to no availMy next points of contact will be ** *** *** office of *** Complaints and the *** *** *** for deceptive business practice.I will no longer contact Select Home Warranty because I gave them no fewer than ten opportunities to resolve this matterThe only was SHW can resolve this matter amicably is by reimbursing me the $I am owed

I was strong armed into accepting the agreement. The SHW representative who contacted
me was extremely rude, condescending, snarky, and arrogant. When I expressed my frustration as to the length of time it took to get a decision on anything his direct quote was "now that I've listened to your sob story, this is what we'll do for you" and then proceeded to tell me that he would cancel the policy and refund my purchase price "less the $paid to the HVAC repairman" who was assigned to my claim from miles away and charged an additional $in mileage fees to not complete the job he was tasked with and refused to travel the miles again to finish the repair he started. I told the SHW representative that I didn't feel I should be responsible to pay for shoddy work performed by a contractor not of my choosing and which was not completed. The SHW representative then said I had no other choice than to either accept their discounted refund or to sue them, a fact he quickly pointed out would be costly to me. Lastly, I was promised a refund to my debit card within 2-days. The response sent to the Revdex.com stated a check in 7-days. Either way, it is now days later and I have neither a check nor a direct deposit refund so SHW is still not performing according to their promises. Therefore, I do not accept their resolution as adequate

Mr *** spoke with the customer and the customer will be reimbursed $towards their claimAs soon as we receive the signed reimbursement form from the customer we will have a check mailed out to them

I am rejecting this response because: I have been hearing that the check was in the mail since 2017, every time I call if I am lucky and get to talk to someone responsible in this company
I was told that the check was been processed and about to go out, last time was an email from a (*** *** ) on August 15, where the email read" your check is on its wayWe do apologize for the delay" there for I wont believe it until I get the check in my hand

I put in a Complaint back in October or NovemberI received an email saying that the company was going to make me whole but they did notThey also kept taking the money out of my credit cardThe total amount due me is $total.I checked my credit card an nothing has been refunded to me in the complaintI think they dropped the ballPlus now interest has been tack on my credit card for this money.Please get back to me concerning this matter
