I would like to let the public know of the poor business practices of this company in any way possibleYou have to pay good money for a service and then never receive any resolution to a problem you submitAll I ever got from the company was a run aroundAfter the second time of submitting a claim and getting the same run around I figured it was time to cancel and get what ever money back that I could

We have made attempts to reach this customer with respects to their claimPlease contact our office and speak with Mr*** so that they can provide you with the approval information with respects to your claim

We spoke with the customer and have a approved $towards the claim

The customer was approved for the maximum allowance on their current claim for $The customer agreed to that amount and has already signed their reimbursement formAs soon as their check is issued it will be mailed out

The customer spoke with a representative yesterday and was informed that the maximum approved allowance was $as the customer was not able to provide us with the requested maintenance recordsThe customer refused and requested to have their contract cancelledThe customers contract was
cancelled as requested and they were already refunded the most current installment with a waived cancellation feeThe customers account has been cancelledNo additional funds due at this time

The customer has been issued a full refund of the original amount paid of $They should be able to view their refund on their credit card statement within the next few business days

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***; however, I do find it ridiculous that I should have to sign an affidavit that I did not receive the check when the evidence is blatant on the copy of the check The check was mailed to a client with the same name at a Providence RI address not Atlanta GA The check issuance and endorsement should be enough to prove that I did not receive the check This was a blatant error by SHW processing unit who didn't even bother to verify information on the account, the customer or address Perhaps someone should look into SHW accounting practices *** ***

The customer spoke with a representative on December 6, and requested to have their contract cancelledThe customers contract was cancelled and they have been refunded their November installment on December 7, No additional funds due at this time

refundI was very dissatisfied with how they did not live up to my expectations based on the phone pitch I received when I purchased the productOne purchased a extensive contest with every stipulation possible followed Thai I did not agree withI expect a full refund as their services were never used.

the warrantyHe never told me that they would prorate the year of the applianceI asked r u guys like the warrant that I have nowThat if a item breaks down y'll Would repair or replace itHe said yesSo I canceled my warranty w total protection and signed up w this company that scams customers out of thier moneyIf I would of been told by tbe sales rep or read it on the website thst is advertising their warrantyI would of never signed upWhat person in their right mind would do thatI also have the same warranty thru phone company that if my tv breaks down they have repaired it and also replaced the tv w a new oneBut this company says they do butThey don'tI asked for my initial set up few of and all they want to give me is They can shove it I want what is right

Select Home Warranty advised the cusotmer that per the Terms of Agreement there is a cap on pool coverage within the first months of coverage.All of this information was outlined under Optional Coverage in the Terms of Agreement, which the customer signed and initialed.See Below:
Dimensions, Brand and Color, LimitsSelect will not be responsible for matching a system or appliance’s color, brand, or dimensions and only is responsible for repairing and/or replacing systems or appliances of similar capacity and efficiencyThe following guidelines will be implemented to provide a repair/replacement allowanceFor heating or cooling equipment(hvac), in the first three months of coverage a $repair/replacement allowance will be paid to the customerThis repair/replacement allowance will increase to $after the first three months of coverageFor appliances, plumbing and electrical (non-heating or cooling) in the first three months a $repair/replacement allowance will be paid to the customerThis repair/replacement allowance will increase to $after the first three months of coverageFor additional coverage options in the first three months a $repair/replacement allowance will be paid to the customerThis repair/replacement allowance will increase to $after the first three months of coverage

Mr *** spoke with the customer and they agreed to be reimbursed $towards their claimAs soon as we receive the signed reimbursement form we will go ahead and issue the customer a check and have it mailed out right away

We have processed a full refund for the customera check should arrive in 14-days

We do owe the customer $, we have reached out to the customer and are waiting for a call backThe customer may call mr avi at *** *** for help with this reimbursement

We do apologize for having the date wrong, but it was Memorial Day, which was a Monday and our rep did call the customer back once the phones were back up, we listened to the call where he apologized and explained to the customer that they were disconnected If the customer would like to resolve the matter we are more than willing but they have to be willing to compromise and not want to chastise a representative who was only doing his job and apologized numerous time for the issues with the phone

I am rejecting this response because: In my case and others on this siteI could not possibly have years worth of records and is not legally possible for me to attain these documents with someone else's name on themI had the home inspected before move in I have documentation of the inspection and everything was in working orderI can have the previous owner/ broker write a letter and notorize as wellWhat this reply failed to do was produce the entire statementThe statement aforementioned in the contract was that the Warranty owner needs to maintain annual recordsNot go back and get recordsThis is merely selects attempt to inject implications not laid out in the contract.

We have been trying to reach the customer for a few days and have not had a responseThe customer can reach out to Mr*** at *** *** for help with this matter

Select Home Warranty has refunded the customer as of 12/5/directly to their credit card, the customer as per the Terms of Agreement is entitled to a Pro-rated refund
