The customer placed a claim for a zoned system heating unitWe explined that zoned systems are not covered Please see section of the terms This Agreement does NOT cover solar heating systems or the components thereofThis Agreement does NOT cover any portable heating units or zone systems

I am totally, completely and undeniably rejecting this response because my complaint is not just solely about an isolated incident, it is about a continuous disturbing trend of a company who has designed their policies around giving them a loop hole to refuse to pay for anythingKeep in mind, Select Home Warranty is the same company that months ago first set me up with a Plumber that was no longer in businessThen they subsequently set me up with a plumber that never heard of them nor did business with themThen they went several weeks with no communicationAfter I continued to complain, six weeks later they set me up with a contractor only to tell them the part wasn't coveredThus, this is not only unethical, this is unacceptable; even regarding the heat exchanger they refused to pay forPlease keep in mind that the technician also informed me that I needed an Induced Draft Motor (IDM) which is covered by Select Home WarrantyBut Mr*** who reached out to me on yesterday concerning my complaint told me that it would not make sense for Select Home Warranty to pay for the IDM since they are not paying for the Heat ExchangerHow much since that does make!!! They did the same thing to me months ago when I put in a request to have my shower repaired as well as my septic tank (which I have coverage on both)When they told me that they do not pay for septic tank pumping (which was not the issue I remind you), then they told me they could not pay for the showerWhen I asked why, they said well maybe the shower is not draining because of the septic tankBoth myself and the technician laughed because he said he has never heard anything so ludicrous in his lifeIt is like saying that we will not fix your over because your refrigerator is not workingThis company is such a fraud that they should be put out of businessAnd after Mr*** kindly calls me on yesterday to ask me what I want, the only thing in the final analysis he was willing to offer was approx$refund back from my payments madeThey can keep the $and add it to all the other $$$$ they have cheated and scammed from customersAnd in the final analysis, I hope that they are one day prepared to be left in the cold like they have so proudly and ungraciously left my husband and I literally in the coldI HAVE TOLD YOU ONCE AND I WILL TELL YOU AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAINDO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANYIF YOU DO, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! TRUST ME, I DO!!!

I am rejecting this response because: the company is assuming work to be done is maintenancePlenum, is ductwork, and our policy DOES cover ductwork.
Per the Terms & Conditions service agreement, section "DuctsThis Agreement covers all ducts from heating and/or cooling unit to the point of attachment at registers or grills. Excluded: (i) crushed ductwork; and (ii) improperly sized ductwork/duct system." Therefore, a broken plenum (ductwork), is covered. We will accept a response in which the company agrees to come out and 'fix the broken ductwork', per their own contract

I am rejecting this response because: No wayIn my opinion Select Home Warranty has
committed fraud by saying that my stand alone freezer is covered for the major mechanical components but not if it is part of a sealed systemWell that is bull because all freezers have a sealed system to be able to contain the refrigerantThey tried to tell me that there are freezers that don't have sealed refrigerant systemsI asked for a brand and model number and they would not provide that information, because this does not existSelect Home Warranty needs to bite the bullet and provide the appliance coverage the originally promised.

The customer claim has already been approved according to the policy termsThe terms of the agreement does not cover installationPlease see section of the terms "This policy covers mechanical breakdowns, it does not cover shelves, door handles, doors, hinges, knobs and buttons, door seals,
displays, latches, timers, leveling equipment, clogged drains or lines, cosmetic issues, gaskets, leak searches, lights, noise, refrigerants, valves, dispensers, installation, electrical failures."

The customers reimbursement check is being issued and mailed out todayThey should have the check later on this week

We apologize for the bad experience we have put a full refund back to the credit card on file

We have already mailed a check

We went ahead and removed the customer from our systemThey should no longer be receiving any phone calls or emails from us
