We tried to reach the customer, we got no answer by phone and the mailbox is fullWe have emailed the customer and have not heard backThe customer may call Mr *** *** *** for help

Select Home Warranty did speak to the customer and advised that the check would be mailed on Friday November We will email the customer a confirmation once the check is mailed

We spoke with the customer and explained why his ac issue falls outside of coverageHe may want to cancel and if so we will waive the cancellation fee

The customer has been contacted and a pro-rated refund check has been mailed as of 05/28/

Select Home Warranty is currently processing the customers request for a refund within the Terms of Agreement

I am rejecting this response because: We have not heard from anyone from SelectHomeWarranty in regards to a solution as of today March 26,

After talking with *** from select a plumber was dispatched and
found the problem was not plumbing related, spoke with a customer service representative and an electrician was sent to fix the problemI am satisfy with the result

The customer was informed that Freon Leaks are not covered, the customers' condenser coil has multiple leaks on it which is causing the freon to leak out, we advised them that freon leaks and freon related leaks are not covered.See Below:6.3.6. Air Conditioning (Central)This Agreement covers
the primary floor air conditioning unit of the covered home only, provided that the air conditioning unit does not exceed a five (5) ton capacityThis Agreement covers the following air conditioning components: (i) motors; (ii) compressors; (iii) condensers; and (iv) thermostats.This Agreement does NOT cover window, wall or zone systems or portable air conditioning unitsThis Agreement does NOT cover (i) air filters; (ii) Freon; (iii) Freon recapture; (iv) geothermal systems; (v) gas or propane air condition systems; (vi) air filtration systems; (vii) humidifiers; (viii) registers; (ix) grills; (x) stands; (xi) jacks; (xii) condenser casings; (xiii) pads; (xiv) vents; (xv) flues; (xvi) clogged lines; (xvii) condensation leaks; (xviii) mismatched systems; (xix) damaged ducts; (xx) improper wiring; and (xxi) improper piping;(xxii)freon leaks;(xxiii)damage caused by freon leak

Even though I did receive a refund on this Home Warranty Plan, the repairs cost me $in total in order to close on the property Not only did SelectHomeWarranty not honor their contract, they kept me from finding another Home Warranty Plan that undoubtedly would have saved me several hundred dollars In addition, I have this same warranty plan on my rental house and fully understand that it is worthless You can see the company's attitude Simply give him the money back instead of honoring their obligations

We did speak with the cutopmer and the issue they have falls outside of coverageWe have however approved them for $towards the claim

I am rejecting this response because: the technician when I called back said it could be a range of possibilities: the age of machine, overloading, the model is defective, over usage, too much washing, a problem with the drum, etcThe technician even called Select Home Warrant backto tell them that he did not say it was from overloading but Select Home Warranty took one if those possibilities and blamed it on the consumer as their faultIs that the correct way to do business? When I called back the technician that made the diagnosis he was offended that Select Home Warranty would take one of the possibilities and put the blame on the consumer when it could have been a defect of the machineI have had multiple problems with this business and this is the worst

Mr*** placed a calim for a leaking water heaterThe policy does not cover leaking water heaters as per section "This Agreement does NOT cover solar or tankless water heating systems or the components thereofThis Agreement does NOT cover the following list of modules, components and
parts relating to the water heating system:(i) flues; (ii) drain piping; (iii) pressure reducing valve; (iv) leaks(v)pumps " The customer elected to cancel his policy after getting the denial emailAt this pint the customer does not have an active policy with us and his water heater is not covered

Select Home Warranty would like to apologize for any misunderstanding in the process of the refund, the customer will be issued a refund back to their credit card today, per the Terms of Agreement

We did speak to the customer and authorized an additional $towards his refund A check will be sentPlease allow 7-days to arrive

The customer placed an ac claim and has been approved for the policy limit without having maintenance recordsPlease see section of the terms.You are responsible for providing maintenance and cleaning by a licensed technician on covered items to ensure continued coverage on such itemsSelect
reserves the right to request prior years (3) maintenance records and/or pictures, without proper maintenance records and pictures the maximum payout on any system/appliance is up to $150.00If the customer can send over maintenance records they will be eligible for more reimbursement

Mr *** placed a claim for a Dyer that was not workingThe dryer is from which makes it years oldAs part of the terms select elected to give a cash reimbursement as apposed to repairing the unit as it it not worth working on such an old unitMr *** elected to cancel his policy
and has been refunded in full for his renewalPlease allow 5-business day for the credit to post to the credit card

Select Home Warranty has sent the cusotmer a reimbursement form, we are waiting to receive it back, then we will issue a check

Nobody ever got back to us and no technician or repair person ever contacted contacted usWe were
unable to get the name or number of a service personWe were promised phone calls and emails and never received anythingWhat they are saying is an out right lie
