I am rejecting this response because: This company doesn't deserve to keep my money, since they never provided a service to meI have waited for over a month, while they took payment from my checking account I want all my money refunded back to me, or I would have to take legal actions against this companyI've already checked into it and I'm entitled to a complete refund due to them not taking my request serious enough to send someone out to my homeMy air conditioner is still not repaired, so now I have to save up the full amount to repair myselfThese warranty companies don't care about their clients at all, and I had to find out the hard way with this company.

the customer gives in I feel their contract is deceptive I fixed everything myself so there is no need to speak with them anymoreI am tired of the rejections and my policy will be expired soon I will never use Select Home Warranty again and I will advise others not to do the same

I am rejecting this response because: Received only a partial refund check of per memo back from business it should have been a full refund check. The full
amount paid was for a contract that shows items are covered but are not - they shorted $127.49. The reason service was cancelled with Select Home Warranty is due to their dishonest practices and the fact they held on to the funds and have continued to lie about a check being mailed for almost months a FULL refund needs to provided. They still owe $127.49. I purchased a Platinum Home Warranty because of their online information shows they offer very good coverage however when you receive the actual contact it excludes the majority of items and/or pays pennies on the dollar for repair. You are not aware of this until a couple of months have passed or when you try to use the service they tell you that you need to sign the contract which is completely different from what you are purchasing from their online information. I have been dealing with this dishonesty and calling every week since I discovered this dating back to Dec asking for a refund...NOW as they responded back to me a "FULL" refund is to be sent....and that is what I expect. Please send the remaining $

I am rejecting this response because: the wiring did not need to be traced since it ran from behind the refrigerator to the counter and as a non-electrician I knew that Also, the outlet behind the refrigerator is not bad and can be reusedIn fact, the outlet is laying on the floor behind the refrigerator at this timeThe only issue is the wire from the outlet behind the refrigerator burnt and is taped offThe taped off wire is a short wire from the outlet behind the refrigerator to the counter and is liveReplacement wire needs to be ran from the outlet behind the refrigerator to the breaker boxThere is no tracing of wiring and the only thing needing done is 1) remove the short piece of wiring that is taped off and 2) run a new wire from the outlet behind the refrigerator to the breaker boxThere is a new unused breaker in the breaker box

I am rejecting this response because: neither technician has actually looked at the unitNeither has pulled it out and looked at the back neither has opened a service panelAll they have done is open the door and one claimed a copper line was cramped and the other claimed it must be the compressorThis company cannot establish denial of service when they don't even know what the cause of the problem is and they've done nothing to diagnose the problem unless their modus operandi is to make up reasons to not have to provide services under the terms of the contract

The customer purchased the policy in March of and requested the policy to be cancelled in August We deducted for months, as we refund starting from the date of purchase, not the policy start date The customer was also refunded at the non-discounted rate not the discounted rate they paid as per the Terms of Agreement.420.00([email protected]/month per policy) + (cancellation fee per policy) = (to be deducted) 750.00( customer paid) - (total amount deducted) = 180.00(amount refunded to customer)The customer is not due any additional refund at this time

Hello,Select Home Warranty has contacted me personally with an email showing the processed refund of $being sent back to my credit cardThey said I should have the refund in two business daysAs long as there are no issues arise with the refund, my complaint has been resolved

The customer placed a claim for a water heaterThe diagnosis was a leaking water heaterLeaking water heaters fall outside of the coverage, please see section of the terms. This Agreement does NOT cover solar or tankless water heating systems or the components thereofThis Agreement
does NOT cover the following list of modules, components and parts relating to the water heating system:(i) flues; (ii) drain piping; (iii) pressure reducing valve; (iv) leaks(v)pumps The customer was offered a $good will reimbursement even though this was non covered issueThe customer elected to cancel and has been refunded according to the policy terms

Select Home Warranty has been in contact with the cusotmer to discuss this claim and straighten out misunderstanding with the manufacturers warranty

The customer contacted Select Home Warranty on 11/28/to state the technician did not have the Work Order for their claim, we resent the information hand have not heard from the customer since then, we have assumed the mater has been resolved

The customer had a Freon issue with the ac systemThis is not a covered issue according the terms of the agreementWe have already explained this too the customerPlease see section of the terms. "This Agreement does NOT cover window, wall or zone systems or portable air
conditioning unitsThis Agreement does NOT cover (i) air filters; (ii) Freon; (iii) Freon recapture; (iv) geothermal systems; (v) gas or propane air condition systems; (vi) air filtration systems; (vii) humidifiers; (viii) registers; (ix) grills; (x) stands; (xi) jacks; (xii) condenser casings; (xiii) pads; (xiv) vents; (xv) flues; (xvi) clogged lines; (xvii) condensation leaks; (xviii) mismatched systems; (xix) damaged ducts; (xx) improper wiring; and (xxi) improper piping;(xxii)freon leaks;(xxiii)damage caused by freon leak."

The customer has been issued a full refundThey should be able to view the credits on their statement within the next few business days
