I am rejecting this response because: through my phone conversation with company representative, I was informed that again
their employee falsely claimed over the phone what the company does and does not cover This is the second time and employee from this company has told us the customer one thing and yet the "higher ups" say that it isn't true The representative that called me was not interested in helping in this concern about their employees not being truthful about coverage and dismissed this to get me off the phone faster simply stating that our fine line contract specifies coverage I have still yet to hear from the company's MrAlex *** who my original complaint was thru Yesterday's call was simply because of my complaint thru Revdex.com

I am rejecting this response becauseI have not received any payment from Select Home WarrantyI was told that a credit would be posted immediately to my account and it has not beenIn my copy of my policy it says nothing about caulking not being covered, I was told that the authorization dept made a descion not to cover my roof leak based on a set of qualifications not listed in my policy and that only they are privy to seeBased on the written policy in my home, my minor roof leak is covered

As we stated before the customer has received a check for the refund per ***
*** - we gave cancellation # *** - we then sent the check for which the customer cashed, and the dispute case #*** for $525.The customer was refunded already with money he received via check(which they cashed) and through their credit card company

As stated earlier we have already approved the customer for the policy maxThere is nothing more we can do

The issue has not been corrected because you decided to cancel instead of accepting the good will reimbursement. There are no more funds due at this time. We have already gone above the policy terms

Select Home Warranty did pull the calls for the customer, on May 29, Memorial Day, we were experiencing an internal issue with our phone system, during holidays we run system maintenance and it caused our system to reboot numerous times.The customer did received a call back from the agent that was thought to hang up the phone up on her, and I assure you that was not the case.We did listen tot he manager call, and would like to apologize for the way that the call was handled and can completely understand that the customer was upset from the exchange.Our Managers are trained to be understanding and empathetic to all customers issues not matter what the issue may be We do feel the call could have been handled with more sensitivity and understanding.The way we determine the price of the courtesy payment is to take into account of the year as well as the repairs that are needed The customer is looking at around in repairs, the washingmachine is from and its current value is around The repairs actually exceed the value of the washing machine, if the value of the washing machine is at and the repairs are that means that the customer is really in possession of a non-valued appliance Select Home Warranty offered the customer the amount of for the machine which is well above any price the customer will get at this time, we advised the customer that they can use the 160.00towards the replacement of the unit, but putting new parts in a unit that already has failing components will only cause the machine to work harder and break down again, resulting in additional repairs.We do hope that this provides some clarity in the process that we use in determining the amount be given.The customer has just recently filed a claim, we have sent an email and a message for them to get in touch with us to get additional information to file the claim.Select Home Warranty is more than happy to assist the customer in any way, if they are willing to give us another chance

Select has NOT gone out of their way to resolve this issueThey only want to "Settle" for a fraction of what they really owe.I have submitted invoices to them and they refuse to pay the invoice amount

Under the circumstances the resolution offered of waving my next service call (If there ever is one) is going to have to be acceptable since I bought a new switch and fixed it
myself. In reference to complaint ID ***The only other option that was given me was to cancel my policy with a refund, which I hope in the future I won't regret not taking

We were unable to get the customer at tech in a timely manner as all our techs in the area are backed upWe did speak with the customer and pre-approved a $reimbursement towards the washerThe customer will get back to us

We did speak with the customer and have resent the reimbursement form

The customer has already accepted a reimbursement on their microwave claim as per the enclosed signed reimbursement formThe customer has received their reimbursement check and cashed itNo additional funds due on their microwave claim.With respects to the customers garage door claimThey have
already been informed that their claim was denied per section as brackets are not covered under the customers signed agreementNo additional funds due at this time

The payment made to me was $600, however, I do not feel I was paid what was due on the contract. SHW refused to reimburse me the amount quoted in their policy ($1500) but I had no choice but to accept the amount offered in order to avoid the high cost of attorneys.I will no longer due business with this company once my contract expires

THe customer has requested a refund which is being processed at this time

The customer did have an ac issue that fell outside of coverageWe will refund his last payment

I am rejecting this response because:This is what the contract says Water HeaterThis Agreement covers all modules, components and parts of the water heater necessary to the functionality of the water heaterThis Agreement does NOT cover solar or tankless water heating systems or the components thereof I have established that the part that malfunction is necessary for the water heater to function and the evidence is in the picture of the receipt from the plumberYou keep referencing on the leakive states that the leak was never the problem it was the part of the water heater thats broken! It has been established that you guys are responsible yet you refuse and take all measures to avoid paying!

I am rejecting this response because:
When I called for the services, I was under contractwhen I signed up for the contract I was told everything is coveredI cancelled after the fact. I am still due full reimbursement for both servicesNot just water heater but the plumbing back in January 2016, otherwise require full refund of all my monthly payments as they are a deceiving company

Customer has been informed that per section of their warranty freon leaks are not coveredSince the cause of the damage was due to the freon leaking the claim was not approved
