I am rejecting this response because: How much of the $is being offered in refund, because I was told in Jan the cancellation fee is waived and that was confirmed in May as annotated when I again requested cancellation so this offer as best that can be done is not legit because I was already told that more than onceI want my full refund

I am rejecting this response because:
My central air conditioning (AC) unit stopped working on3/26/and a claim was filed with Select Home Warranty (SHW) the next daySHW assigned ***Plumbing Heating and Air to the diagnosis and repair of my AC*** PlumbingHeating and Air relayed to SHW that the condenser and compressor needed to bereplaced, which they estimated to cost $2,SHW requested photos of my ACunit and maintenance records on 4/8/I sent photos of the unit and twomaintenance reports (one from Decand one from Aug2014) the next daySHWconfirmed receipt of all materials via email on 4/10/SHW refused to affirmor deny the claim each of the times I requested the claim statusI was referredto *** ***, a Claims Review Manager, on 4/15/Mr*** toldme on 4/15/that my maintenance records were insufficient; however, Mr.*** could not tell my WHY my maintenance records were insufficientMr.*** also said that there was mention of rust present on my evaporatingcoil on the maintenance records, which voided my warrantyHowever, the claimwas for the condenser and compressor, not the evaporating coilTo appease Mr.***, I called the maintenance company who serviced my AC unit (Aire Servof Central SC) and confirmed that they are licensed to service any brand of HVACequipment and had them fax all records of my maintenance services Also, I tookdetailed photographs of my condenser/compressor which demonstrate thatabsolutely no rust is present on either entityOn 4/17/I emailed allrecords faxed by my maintenance company and additional photos of my unit to Mr.***He confirmed receipt of these documents later that dayI haverequested an update of my claim status via email times and times via phone.He has not answered or respondedIt has been over weeks since the coveredentity has been diagnosed and SHW refuses to affirm or deny the claimSHW ispracticing bad faith insurance

I am rejecting this response because:this is I never agreed to the that they are trying to reimburse me,they need to pay for the whole claim.I did file anewclaim for my water pump but never agreed to secure myown technician it is the responsibility of the warranty company to secure a plumber.we were told that since we don't have water going to the house that it is an emergency and they would call someone out,then they told us that there plumbers were to busy to come out and it would be weeks.very convenient that's when my warranty expires.this company is a complete fraud and are only out to rip the American people off

I am rejecting this response because: I also asked for half the amount I paid for the warranty since there is more than a year left on the contract I asked that the
cancellation fee is not charged I also asked that half of the cost of the replacement water heater be paid since it went out while the warranty was still active

Customer renewed their contract on 10/11/The customer advised on 7/21/that they sold their home and would like to cancel serviceThe customers contract was cancelled per section of their warrantyBelow is a breakdown of their refund: Charged Months @ $per Month = $333.33;
Add Cancellation Fee of $= $; Also Less Claims Paid/Owed of $; Subtracted from original payment of $750.00; Totals a Refund of $ The customers refund check #*** has already been issued and mailed outNo additional funds due at this time

The customer spoke with someone in our office yesterdayThey have been issued a full refund plus an additional $towards their a/c claimThe customer will be able to verify this refund directly with their credit card company within the next 2-business days

Select Home Warranty has completed the customers refund request on 08/19/

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***-- they refunded my money for the services that I was not able to useUnfortunately, this was after many phone calls and making a complaint to the Revdex.com This company has a serious lack of customer service and does not seem to take them seriously until a formal complaint is madeI should have never had to go through all of this to get issues handledAlthough the money has been refunded, I do not accept how the whole process was handled

The customers contract has been cancelled as requestedNo additional funds due at this time

Select Home Warranty has reached out to the customer regrading finalizing their cancellation, the customer has stated they will email in their credit card info, then we will proceed

I am rejecting this response because: the policy mis-represents what
is coveredThe policy lists all the appliances that are covered and then "in fine print" basically states any problems or components that have to do with those appliances are not coveredThis is advertisingExplain what exactly is covered for a water heater because this is why the policy was purchased in the first placeThe salesman said everything is covered for a water heater. I don't understand how one thing can be said and a policy paid for and then the policy fine print say something completely differentPlease do the right thing and issue the full refund

On 8/check number *** was mailed to the customerPlease allow a few more days to arrive

The customers reimbursement check for their water heater claim was mailed out check #***They should receive it shortly This customer is not eligible for a full refund as full refunds are issued within the first days of purchaseSince this customer purchased their warranty contract in
February they are no longer eligible for a refundIf they wish to proceed with cancelling their agreement we can proceed with cancelling per section of their agreement

The technician was at the customer's home on 11/04/2015, we did not received the complaint until 11/04/2015, the appointment was already made between the customer and the technician before the complaint was filed.The technician gave us the diagnosis and advised that the customer had not had maintenance done on the unit, it is their professional diagnosis of what caused the failure to the unit
