I am rejecting this response because:
I just bought the house in March of and I am punished due to former owner not performing serviceI realize that it's your policy but when former owner is deceased and I can't talk with her to find out about serviceMakes no sense to punish meCompany doesn't try to help you or work with youIt's your policy but very unfair policy

I am rejecting this response because: my above referenced complaint with the Revdex.com was for issues - the microwave oven repair and pool heater repairI did not reference the pool heater claim number because I was not
given one and in any case last week, a new ticket was created (again I do not have access to the number)Yes, the microwave oven repair is completeThank you. The pool heater however remains to be fixedA technician has come and go, provided Select Home Warranty with the next steps and is ready and willing to repairSelect -please provide the technician with approvalThis item is covered under our platinum warranty with salt water pool coverage. Furthermore, I have attempted to get clarity and confirmation on this from the office of the CEO who has remained silentI have had no communication with this company unless I pick up the phone, call them, wait on hold for extended periods of time I would like a resolution on my pool heater repair request - which is named under this Revdex.com complaint*** ***

I am rejecting this response because:The credibility of Select Home Warranty and the contractor play very important role in this. "Heating SystemThis Agreement covers ALL module, components and parts of the heating system necessary to the functionality of the heating systemThisAgreement covers the primary heating system of the covered home.(i) Condenser Fan motors; (ii) compressors; (iii) condensers; and (iv)thermostats (v)Capacitors (vi)relays(vii)Contactors (viii)pressure switch (ix)thermistor (x) cut in switches (xi) transformers (xii) inducer motors (xiii) defrost boards (xiv) Blower motorsExcluded: solar heating systems or zone systems or wall units or the components thereof, (i) air cleaners; (ii) humidifiers;(iii) flues; (iv) coils; ; (v) heat exchanger;(vi) geothermal heating/cooling units;" And if the Heat Exchanger was the faulty product I would have to concede, however that is not the case. (1) A sub par - if not licensed or bonded contractor entered the residence. This contractor maliciously damaged the unit disabling it not to workThis damage was through the electrical system.(2) The contractor collected "cash" deductible of $x= $giving no receipt. Then left.(3) The unit was working just not to specifications(4) A call to Select Home Warranty was made with a statement that contractor was not authorized to make ANY repairs.(5) A second call was made to Select Home Warranty. At this time the warranty company advised the contractor was authorized to make repairs and "shut down" the unit but knowing the unit was not covered by the warranty. Oddly the Senior Claims Adjuster claimed "Consequential Damages." which would be covered in section of the agreement but Select Home Warranty elected to site which the repairs of the unit would be covered in this circumstance. In addition, Select Home Warranty allowed and instructed the contractor to do this illegal and negligent actThe left people with out heat in January in the ***Temporary heat was purchased for the evening.(6) A reputable, licensed and bonded contractor who has worked not only at this residence but other properties owned by homeowner arrived at 8:AM the next morningThis was Community Heating and Cooling.(7) The technician looked at the unit and advised someone sabotaged the unit by damaging the electrical and seals of the inducer and harming the fan motorsThe technician was able to repair the malicious damage purposely done and the unit ran.(8) At this point the technician removed sheet metal and did a visual inspection of the unit seeing no damage to the heat exchanger. It should also be noted that COdetectors where in the furnace room and adjoining furnace room and working properly - they had not alarmed.(9) It was evaluated that from the malicious damage and the repairs that should have been made before damaging the unit that the cost to repair would exceed that of replacing with a new unit(Photos and parts were retained for exhibits and possible evidence to law enforcement)Please note that if the unit was not damaged on purpose - the repairs could have been made and the unit continue. This was also the technician would did repair work previous to the Select Home Warranty policy and had direct knowledge of this specific unit.(10) The unit was replaced and paid for in full by homeowner (attached) At this time I am not asking for a refund of services or the deductible I am demanding the $for the furnace change out - which is a discounted price and coupons applied - I could not included the rebates and such -but I, unlike Select Home Warranty operate honorably. As stated previously, I am in good faith going through the Revdex.com, however if Select Home Warranty elects to refuse the offer then the following steps will be taken.(1) File a criminal complaint against the contractor, the advising Senior Claims Adjustor, MrJoseph Scott S***, President, and MrAlex W***, Vice President of Customer Service all of Select Home Warranty(2) File a complaint with the Attorney General's Office of *** and *** ***(3) File arbitration per section of the agreement - but this agreement will be reviewed for fraudulent activityAnd through discovery find out the attorney that drafted this contractor and advising Select Home Warranty and file an integrity complaint with the state ARDC.(4) Challenge the agreement as it states the agreement is with SHW of *** not *** ***(5) File a complaint with IRS of the $100,revenue posted - If someone will cheat people in their homes they may cheat our governmentAgain this goes to credibility. It should be pointed out that there are over 1,complaints against Select Home Warranty just on Revdex.com website. One complaint maybe even complaints, however 1,400.This is my offer to Select Home Warranty - I want to be transparent unlike them.*** ***
