I am rejecting this response because: this is the best they ever offered to me, as I listed on my last response I was never offered the courtesy payment I requestedStating I was offered it in the previous e-mail as she did was a lieI asked regarding if that was an option in my last correspondence since she brought it up and the pro rated refund was. issued with no further communication or comment pertaining to the courtesy payment at allI am glad this whole thing is over and I will have to accept the prorated refund thy provided as that is all they can do and I feel thankful they even gave me that but with all of deception and information I feel I was given, this company was a waste of money and I would not advise anyone to use themMy suggestion would be to find company that will properly warranty your home items and cover all but the deductibleThat is what a good home warranty company should be able to do

I am rejecting this response because: Select Home warranty only return $out of $1,for a year service contract and they did not
provide months of service under the so called Select Home Warranty as stated in my original Revdex.com complaintPlease post this so that the military and *** can see and read about this company prior to getting involved with themThis company is taking people for their money and only providing services for minor home repair problems that do not cost hardly anything to repair and that is what happen to meAmerican peoples should be aware of companies like this prior to doing business with them and being I have proven that they will take your money by what they did to me after I paid the $1,in advance for their services which they did not honor for my home and kept my money, so make everyone aware of this factI am Retired Military and Retired *** and I had to fix my own house while the had my money and now they refuse to return my money for the months of services which have not got hear yet and I canceled my contract far those remaining months left on the first year of the contract and the total second year of the contract which have not started yet because I canceled my Select Home Warranty contract services do to non performance under the contract

The customer will need to sign the reimbursement form so that we can have their check processedI went ahead and re-sent the reimbursement form over againPlease sign and submit as soon as possible so that we may have your check processedNo additional funds due at this time

The customer has already requested to cancel their contract in early AprilThe customers refund check has already been processed and mailed outThe check number is ***

Another $is going out this week

We did speak with the customer and have waived the cancellation fee for the refund

Select Home Warranty has contacted *** *** *** andthey have advised that they spoke with customer and have scheduled service for10/10/2014.Select Home Warranty does acknowledge the delay in serviceto be provided to the customer and is working on resolving that issue.We are more than
happy to provide accurate service for ourcustomers and apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused

We have tried reaching the customer numerous times with no responseFor more help with this issue the customer may call mr *** at ###-###-#### mon-fri 9-est

We have processed a full refund for the customer

The customer placed a claim for a busted water heaterThese claims are not covered under the policyThe customer has requested a full refundWe cannot give a full refund as he has coverage for monthsWe can waive the $cancellation fee and give him a pro rated refund

We are going above the policy terms by giving a full refundthere are no more funds due at this time

Please refer to section 8.3: Select's OptionSelect shall have the sole and exclusive option to: (i) Select the Independent service technician to perform repair and/or replacement services; (ii) In the event a covered system or appliance is deemed irreparable or it is not cost effective to repair, Select may replace the system or appliance with a system or appliance of like capacity, the price of which shall not exceed the depreciated value of the system or appliance being replaced; (iii) In lieu of replacing a system or appliance that is deemed irreparable or it is not cost effective to repair, said determination being made by Select, Select may choose to pay a cash settlement for the irreparable component of the system or applianceSelect is not responsible for installationThe cash settlement shall be in an amount not to exceed the depreciated value of the component/appliance being replaced; The maximum approved allowance remains at $No additional funds due at this time

The technician will be calling back the customer to schedule an appointment

We have already creidts the customers credit card

I am rejecting this response because: The company that I have paid for service should have better customer service than to use automated replies. If I still owed them money I am sure the service would be much different

Select Home Warranty has mailed payment out to the customer as of 12/05/ We do apologize for any inconvenience s we did advise the customer the check would be mailed on said date

Select Home Warranty had been in contact with the customer prior to them placing this complaint, we were int he middle of ordering the part ourselves and paying for it, and the customer is aware of that.The customer was also contacted by our Retention Department and agreed to close out the complaint
due to Select Home Warranty going above and beyond to make sure the claim was handled and carried through as promised

I am rejecting this response because:
Freon was not added as a result of this visit from the technicianIt states in the bill that a part was replaced that was leaking and that is what the company charged me for; it was not for freonThe remark about freon being added is just an excuse not to pay for the part

The customer is not eligible for a full refundWe have refunded her within the refund policy in the contract
