I am rejecting this response because: I want full refund for my policy , for my time and stress (time---I wasted, stress--- I had to go and see Doctor), and payment for technician bill and items he used

Select Home Warranty has issued a pro-rated refund to the customer, as we have discussed with him that in order to file a claim, the warranty company must be contacted first, then at least we aware of the situation. We were not given that opportunity and unfortunately we are unable to assist the customer in this case

On 06/03/the customer was sent an email that the claimfor the dishwasher was approved and the technician would be getting in touchwith them. The email was sent in errorand the customer was advised that it was a mistake as well. We are not sure if the customer may havenever made a
mistake in their lifetime, but, from time to time people do makemistakes.Select Home Warranty did apologize for the error and advisedthat they were approved for the amount of 100.00, being that the unit is fromwhich makes it years old and we offered the cash in lieu of therepairs. When a customer is offered cashin lieu of repairs, they may use that money for repairs or replacement towardsthe unit.Again, we do apologize that the email was sent, but, it wasan error. The customer can use the moneyhow they would like, but they should understand that the unit is ten years oldand would be better off purchasing a new unit than having the old one fixedthen break down again. We did try to explainthis to the customer, but, they we not responsive, nor cooperative

The service call fees are paid directly to the technicians not usTherefore, we are unable to refund service call fees as they are not paid out to usIn addition a diagnosis was received from the technician with respects to the customers claim regardless of the outcome of the determination the
service fee still needs to be paid to the technician for coming out to the customers home to diagnose the issueNo additional funds due at this time

We still have yet to receive the reimbursement agreement but we will send the reimbursement check any wayPlease allow 7-today to arrive

The company has only responded to the policy cancellation aspect and yes I am satisfied with that.They have not responded about the status of my claim on the swimming pool which was the primary basis for the Revdex.com complaintAre they going to cover my pool repair or aren't they?

I am rejecting this response because: Select Choice Home Warranty immediately rejected and declined *** *** (the technician) recommendation to replace my second floor ac unitThis type of response from home warranty companies has been under investigation in Houston that home warranty companies immediately reject replacement recommendations from contractors when circumstances are not in the consumer's control; age of unit, wear and tear. The select choice home warranty representative also said that if his supervisor was in a "good mood" they may be able to do somethingThis is nonsense and irrelevantAdditionally, in their policy, they have stated that they are willing to pay $towards the replacement costThis leads me to believe that the home warranty company already has deemed it will NOT replace any consumer's appliances from the very beginning and do not disclose this until the claim warrants such an outcome; the $is "sympathy."I would like more than $given back to me for the $4,I paid on 7/15/towards replacing my unit last FridaySelect Choice Home Warranty is a scam; their contractors say so and their employees indirectly indicate as such through their deceptive wording and practices.

Unfortunately the customer is not eligible for a full refund as they purchased their warranty moths agoWe only offer full refunds within the first days of purchase and since we are way past that date the customer is eligible for a pro-rated refundPer customers contract if cancelled early they will incur a $cancellation feeAs a courtesy to the customer we went ahead and waived the cancellation fee and pro-rated their policy based off of their discounted purchase rate which is the best we are able to offer

I am requesting the case re open because the flooring matter was not resolved. The refund was for premiums that the home warranty plans cancellation

Select Home Warranty would like to clear the matter up by stating the customer purchased the warranty on 02/27/2015, we give a day grace period before the policy goes into effect.The policy start on the 30th day, the customers' policy started in March not February, so the first days include
April, ,May and June The customer is counting the first month in which the policy was not effective.The first days are started after the day grace period not when the policy is purchased,Select Home Warranty has tried numerous times to get in contact with the customer to discuss this matter, but, they have not responded

The customer has been issued a full refund on their warrantyThe refund was issued directly to their original form of paymentThey should be able to view the credit on their statement within the next few business days

We apologize for this misinformationThe customer is allowed to cancelHe will be refunded back to his credit card a pro rated refundPlease allow 1-days for refund to post

The customer was contacted by a Manager and spoke with them and stated they would not cancel, we did advise the customer that we would not be able to cover the claim for the pool.The customer has not contacted Select Home Warranty regarding this matter since we verified they were not cancelling

I am rejecting this response because: On the Select Home Warranty website it clearly states that NO inspection is needed and it DOESN'T matter how old the appliances or the units are we
will take care of itThis is very CONTRADICTED to all customers that take the warranty outYou can not tell the customers that you DON'T need inspections or tell them it DOESN'T matter how old the appliances or units are, then turn around after the customers have been paying in full or monthly premiums, this is basically ripping the CONSUMER OFF!! I would like Select home warranty to review there statements on line and see how misleading these statements areSelect Home warranty needs to take care of the customers because this is not fair to the consumersi would like at least $for my A/C that I have been with out for going on 2months and with the heat in Florida it is not pleasantMrJamel *** needs to take care of this A/CI also ask to speak to the CEO of customer service Alex *** and I am still waiting for his call

The customer has already been informed by the claims supervisor that they were approved for the maximum allowance on their claim which is $In order for the customer to be reimbursed the approved amount they will need to submit a paid invoice and a reimbursement form can be sent to themIf the
customer wishes to proceed with cancelling their contract we can have their request processed per section of their agreementNo additional funds due at this time

I am rejecting this response because: I found the parts necessary
to fix my dishwasher with one phone call They were not, in fact, unavailable They just weren't available with the one or less phone calls placed by Select Now that I have found them, I expect Select to repair my dishwasher I am also rejecting the response, as I was told my Select, that despite having almost months, or almost months left on the warranty, depending on when the start date actually is (I signed the contract on September 22, 2016, but it did not go into effect until Oct 2016, and the amount came out to be $per month) I would be receiving $as my refund, as Select has a $cancellation fee I have spent hours merely trying to get the company I paid for a home warranty to actually comply with what I paid them in full for I bill at $300/hour No one is paying me for my time, so the least Select could do is actually comply with the terms of their contract

I am rejecting this response because:Business is not helping me covering my repair, they are escaping.Refund is not resolution of my complaint, I have cancelled my policy because I do not trust them. there
are lots of bad reviews regarding business on yelp.com , this is terrible business.It should not continue, it will create lots of grief in society

On 09/09/we spoke with the customer regarding the claim
for the Dishwasher at *** *** *** *** *** **. We advised the customer that we would pay the
maximum amount allowed on the contract which is
The customer did not agree with this amount, we then advised
we would send it in for re-review and did not hear from the customer regarding
this matter again. We did approve for
the amount of the customer would have had to accept over the phone and
we would have sent the Release Agreement for the payment
If the customer requests to cancel and does not wish to
accept the payments offered, we would be more than happy to process their request
per the Terms & Conditions and issue a pro-rated refund
