They never paid the original claims in questions.
They paid a $claim as a courtesy for the trouble that they put me through on the second claim that I turned in that they in turn denied which was my A/C unit. The only reason the paid $was because they were trying to make up for the issues that they did not resolve and the lack of response on their end. They still never paid me for the service call itself because no one ever came out to service or look at my A/C unit on their behalf, I had to pay out of pocket for the service call. The first claim was the only claim that they actually committed to the hour turn around time and a contractor actually came out and performed the service. I had another call in for a disposal and no one ever showed up or called me to set an appointment for that disposal. I had to go and buy a new disposal. I just made the recent claim for my dishwasher and no one called me to set up an appointment and no one has reached out to me to fix it. It has been over two weeks and I had to get it repaired myself. They have not lived up to their end of the contract, which states that within hours someone will be out to my house to repair and diagnose the issue. They have only paid me for an actual repair...one time. The A/C refund was not due to a repair but as a customer good will due to complaints. I have the letter sent to me and the email correspondence relating to the issues at hand that I am more than happy to provide

Select Home Warranty has not baited not switch the customer, when the customer originally placed their claim we did advise that leaking Hot Water Heaters are not covered, the customer insisted onhaving us send someone out, even though we stated this would be an issue that would more than likely have to be taken care of the customer.Select Home Warranty has been trying to assist the customer in any way that we can, unfortunately we cannot go out side of the scope of the coverage of the warranty

I am rejecting this response because: I cannot keep playing games with this companyWhy would I not want my a/c replaced?? You either hang up the phone when we call or you do not answer the phoneYou have my email and phone number, my realtors information, my husbands phone number and email (who you hung up on several times) and also the tech's information who came to our houseWe have been in touch with the tech as well and he can get a hold of usYou continue to lie and play gamesI do not accept your statement.This company and you are dishonest

Select Home Warranty has mailed the check to the customer as of 2/12/
We have contacted the customer and offered to either mail out a reimbursement check or issue the reimbursement directly onto his credit cardThe customer refused to accept the reimbursement and stated that he will wait to hear back from the Department of Insurance

The refund check was sent on in addition to that we have waived the $cancellation fee and have credited that back to the customers credit card
The customer is not due a refundwe have gone above the policy terms and have refunded the last month payment
This customer does not have an active policy with usThe policy was canceled back in August of 2015and was fully refunded
I am rejecting this response because: I called Select Home Warranty requesting service on my HVAC system on 1/9/As stated in my original complaint, they refuse to honor their contract; they did not send anyone to
my home to repair my HVAC system. I had to call *** *** to repair my system. I communicated with Select Home Warranty for over a month with no positive results, so I choose not to continue to pay them. When I cancelled service with Select Home Warranty on 2/14/this did not cancel the dispute that was submitted on 1/9/2015. Everything happened over a month prior to service cancellation date. I paid another company for service that Select Home Warranty was suppose to take care of according to the contract agreement. If I had continued to pay them monthly without resolving the original problem, eventually I would have paid them the disputed amount. Please request Select Home Warranty to do the right thing and pay the disputed amount

I am rejecting this response because:they are not pro rating any kind of refund they do not pay the people that do the work they made me call times in days for a technician and still never sent info on it had to call again and ask for it when they told me times it would be in my email within hours

We did reach out to the customerThe customer issue is a slab leakThe policy agreement does not cover such issuesPlease see section of the terms "his Agreement does NOT cover the following list of modules, components and parts relating to the plumbing system: (i) tub and shower base pans;
(ii) line leaks/breaks/stoppages caused by freezing, root damage or foreign objects; (iii) line leaks/breaks/stoppages caused by collapsed, damaged or broken drain, vent or sewer lines outside the main foundation of the covered home; (iv) access to drain or sewer lines from the vent or removal of the water closet; (v), water softeners; (vi) inadequate or excessive water pressure (vii) plumbing components relating to hose bibs (viii) lead drain lines/pipes; (ix)slab leaks (x) tub and shower valves(xi)cartridge(xii)pumps(xiii)jetting." We did offer the customer $towards the claim as a good will reimbursementThey did not want it and hung up.We have gone above the policy terms for the customer
