We spoke to the customer and we have approved a $good will reimbursement for the claimWe have already issued this money back to his credit card
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This is just a part of their tactic of delay, delay, delay When I spoke with them months ago, they never once ask for proof that I paid the vender They know they have not paid him because he never sent them an invoice I will sent the proof of payment, however it is not for the $100, it is for the full amount I will not be satisfied until I have received the $ Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I feel that as a customer, this situation of having no working air conditioning should be handled as an emergencydegree wheather is not safeI should have a response to no which steps I would need to take immediatelyThe tech that came out informed me before the diagnosis was sent in that it would not be covered and suggested I pay him to do the work outside of my warrantyThis is a new air system that I have never used and the repair seems simple enoughThis is just horrible customer serviceI went over to the consumer protection website and saw similar things have happened to other customersEveryone is told they will receive a call back and never hear from this company until calling again and againAlso just to be told nearly nothing is covered (read small print)I'm not even sure the specifics are printed anywhere! I had to ask what is actually covered Regards, [redacted]
THe customer has already received and signed their reimbursement form accepting the $reimbursement towards their heating claimThe customers reimbursement check is currently being processedAs soon as their reimbursement check is issued it will be mailed outNo additional funds due at this time
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Select has chosen to pay ONLY part of the claimThey refuse to pay the FULL amount for the claim that was submittedThey will only pay $ out of the $ that is owedSelect still refuses to process the other claim for $ that I have submittedEach time I call Select chooses a different reason NOT to process and pay the claim for $ 2750.So, Select has chosen NOT to pay the full amount for each claimSelect wants me to settle a small portion of the work that was done to repair a heating system in which I have a warranty onI will be out of pocket $ Regards, [redacted]
I purchased my home on January 15, 2015 and a home warranty to protect myself from unforeseen issues. When I contacted the company for help I was told I needed 3 years of service records on a home I didn’t own that long. They told me to contact the prior owners to get records from them. NO ONE GETS SERVICE RECORDS AT SETTLEMENT.The contractor never came to my home twice. He was there for a short time on one day. I received two invoices a day later from the contractor. 1 was for the warranty fee and the 2nd one was for a new unit. He never told me what he did or what was wrong with the unit. My daughter didn’t see him replace anything. The unit was working before he got there. The issue was it didn’t blow cold air. Now it doesn’t work at all. The invoices were generic with only the business name and phone number on them. I did some research and couldn’t locate the company on the internet or was it registered in the state of PA. I feel like all they do is lie and deceive their customers. I will not be satisfied until I get my $425.00 back from the company. After talking with a number of the warranty companies employees I was told they would basically cover new / newer equipment. What would happen if I called them today to service something else in my home. Would they reject that coverage also because I do not have 3 years of service records. I bought a piece of paper for $425.00.I will fight this until I get my money back.
The customer has already been approved for the policy limit of $for this type of issueWe have gone above the policy terms and approved the customer for $, which is $over the capThe customer is not eligible for more money unless they can provide years maintenance records Please see section of the termsWe have already gone above the policy terms for the customerYou are responsible for providing maintenance and cleaning by a licensed technician on covered items to ensure continued coverage on such itemsSelect reserves the right to request prior years (3) maintenance records and/or pictures, without proper maintenance records and pictures the maximum payout on any system/appliance is up to $
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Please try and read the complaint, in fullThe complaint is one complaint, but has more than one partFirst the answer/description does not in any way describe "HOW" or "WHAT" the additional coverage does or how a customer is able to receive the coverage, "It just says a dollar limit"How would or could a customer be able to use it? Second, again read the full complaint; Select Home Warranty refuses to send a technician to determine the exact cause of a loss of Freon to my A/C systemBecause it could be one of many components That are in fact covered, like the compressor, condenser etcSo with out the system being diagnosed, how do they know what the problem isThis is outlined in detail in my contract, yet they refuse to send a Tech (at a $service call fee I pay) to know the specificsThe complaint is that they will not deliver details of my "Additional coverage" and "They will not let the A/C system be diagnosed, a flat refusal to hold up their end of the contract Third, The sales Rep " [redacted] " sold me the additional coverage claiming "It would cover any malfunction associated with Freon, so I agreed to itLastly, is the Revdex.com going to let the referenced company just list definitions, or are they going to try to attempt the have them honor the contractWhere is my technician to determine the exact A/C problem? Lets try and stay on point as to the contract and not just deliver vague definitions which avoids the actual question about contract adhesion Regards, [redacted]
It was suppose to be for for service fee and reimbursement fee Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted]
We spoke with the customer and helped resolver her issue
Select Home Warranty is more than happy to provide service for the customer, we did suggest that they may have a technician of their own and submit the invoice for review, if it is more than the condensation line, we will review and if the repairs fall with in the coverage terms we will reimburse accordingly. We will expedite the customers' check for 150.00, it will be mailed on Tuesday, June

The customer originally placed a claim for the boiler on12/01/2014, at that time the customer needed an expansion tank and a reliefvalve, we stated at the time that these issues were not covered due to it beinga pressure relief issue not a mechanical repair. The customer was offered a courtesy payment of thatthey never accepted, and we did state we would re-review as a courtesy, but, itis an issue that is not covered. The customer contact Select Home Warranty on 05/04/andstated that they had a plumber come out to their home and had the new unitinstalled. We informed the customer that per the Terms of Agreement,Select Home Warranty should have been contacted either before or after theycontacted the plumber The customer wasadvised we would not be able to cover the issue due to not filing a claim withSelect Home Warranty. On 05/21/2015, the customer spoke to one of our ClaimsManager and did understand that at this time we would be more than happy to tryand assist in any way that we can in this matter
