Hello,We do apologize we have removed all of the customers contact info from our system
The customer was approved for $towards the replacement on their washer claimThat determination was made per section of the customers warrantyWith respects to the customers heating claim they have only been approved for the maximum allowance of $per section of the warrantyIf the customer can provide us with the requested maintenance records we can re-review their claim for an additional allowanceThe customer spoke with a representative yesterday and requested to cancel their servicesThe customers contract has been cancelled per their requestNo additional funds due at this time
The customer was already informed what they had left on their policy cap for their stove claim as their first claim was approved for almost the full limitThe customer requested to cancel their contract which was already processedNo additional funds due at this time
The customer should be receiving a call shortly from a contractor scheduling an appointment to diagnose the stoveWe require a diagnosis on the stove so that we can proceed with the claimI have escalated this request to our dispatch team and someone will be in contact with the customer shortly
The customer does not have to pay for the part for the HVAC system, they only have to pay for labor, as we are not doing the repairs on the unit the customer is responsible for the labor costs for the free part they are receiving from the manufacturer.See Below: Manufacturer’s WarrantyAll systems and appliances covered under either the manufacturer’s, distributor’s, or any other express or implied warranty will not be covered under this Agreement

The customer disputed for the amount of 300.00, and we have issued a refund back to the customers' card for the on 06/07/
The customer reimbursement has already been approved according to the policy terms , please see section (iii) In lieu of replacing a system or appliance that is deemed irreparable or it is not cost effective to repair, said determination being made by Select, Select may choose to pay a cash settlement for the irreparable component of the system or applianceSelect is not responsible for installationThe cash settlement shall be in an amount not to exceed the depreciated value of the component/appliance being replaced; The customer is not due any more funds at this time

We are more than happy to assist the customer with their claim needsSomeone from our office spoke with the customer yesterday and informed them that it is taking time to have a technician dispatched to their homeThe customer was offered to secure their own technician and submit a diagnosis for reviewIf the customer would like to go that route please let us know so that we can inform you of the secure your own technician process
The customer is not sue a full refundThey has coverage for months and will be refunded according to the terms
Select Home Warranty did request maintenance records from the customer as listed on the Terms & Conditions that the customer signed The copy of the contract I have included in this complaint is listed on our website under Terms & conditions which is updated periodicallySelect Home Warranty did request the maintenance records from he customer and they were not provided, the customer then requested for cancellationWe do acknowledge that the customers Terms of Agreement is different that the more updated copy I provided, but, it still stated we require maintenance records.We would have been more than happy to assist the customer further at the time we were processing the claim, but, the customer requested for cancellation which has been honored
I am rejecting this response because: the address is [redacted] ***I don't know if the fact that you have it as two words, not one will make the difference or if that is why it came back to youI will wait a week to see if I get the 2nd checkI don't know how to get my money from PaypalI've only used it to buy things
We spoke with customer and we have agreed as a good will to refund her $to help with her claim We have already credited the card

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: You mentioned contacting my contractor, Please call himHe is the one who gave the records when I askedMy first complaint was Select did not want to pay again I had a front bearing replaced was one claim paid outThen a diff bearing went out and they did not want to pay saying same issueTheir contractor did not even want to deal with them cause his claim to me was Select never wants to pay their contractors and that is why he refused to work them againIt took over a month of me constantly calling regarding no response from contractor and same from select I finally had to hire a contractor of my own and pay out of pocket I did my research and Select has hundreds of complaints for same issue I did not try to commit any fraud of any sort as I had to pay money out for a new heaterThe fraud is with Select home warrantyThey advise will cover any unit regardless of age or conditionWhen you sign up that is the statement you give If I just bought this house I would not have records from previous owners So this case you would never pay but the consumer pays for the service not knowing nothing will be coveredYou wanted to contact my contractor to prove he did the repair, so contact him He can prove he is only one to work on my units over the years Select is fraudulent in their service and refuse to pay out Select did not even offer to pay half of my amountAll they offer is $ I read the claims against them and same issue as I haveWhy are we paying for a service that they state will cover until when it comes time AGAIN YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE MY UNIT HAS BEEN MAINTAINED AND CLEANED Who are you to say you don't like the sequence and automatically not pay a claim I have paid service for Select advertises their warrantya year old unit would not last this long with out being maintained or cleaned that is just a fact Numerous contractors state they have the same problem getting paid and that is why they are not prompt on call backsI was told even by their contractor to find another warranty company to deal with cause this will keep happeningI am asking for a reasonable decision Regards, [redacted]
