A technician was out to the customers home for repairs on their ice makerThe technician was approved for $towards the customers ice maker repairsIf the ice maker is still not working after the repairs were made the customer must call the contractor back to the home to take a look Contractors work are guaranteed for a certain period of timeNo additional funds due at this timeIf this customer wishes to proceed with cancelling their agreement they will be cancelled per section of their warrantyThey are not owed a full refund as they purchased their contract in

Select Home Warranty offered the customer cash in lieu for the dishwasher repair We offered the amount of as the repairs were not cost effective, the actual repairs were more than the actual unit is worth.Please review the follow from the Terms of Agreement:(iii) In lieu of replacing a system or appliance that is deemed irreparable or it is not cost effective to repair, said determination being made by Select, Select may choose to pay a cash settlement for the irreparable component of the system or applianceSelect is not responsible for installationThe cash settlement shall be in an amount not to exceed the depreciated value of the component/appliance being replaced;(iv) Select the manufacturer, make and model of any replacement parts used in the repair of the defective system or appliance; and(v) Obtain a second opinion with regard to the cost of replacement without any additional cost to You.We are more than willing to work out any concerns on the pricing and provide clarification on the cash in lieu procedures and determination
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:we did receive payment for Select home warranty, our issue with them is it took months to get our money for microwave claim, keep giving us different reasons why we had not received payment; then we went ahead to cancel our policy for Select home warranty not following through on claim, then Select charged us $fee to cancel when we were not in the wrong and pro rated our monthly charge to higher rate so they didn't owe us but $dollars for our year contact with them; we paid $for year agreement through apr all they returned to us was $for canceling early!!!!!!!!need to be be rated at F for rating for business Regards, [redacted] ***

Select Home Warranty advised the customer that we would be more than happy to assist her with her claim once we have sufficient documentsThe invoices were from Always Absolute Air Conditioning, which the invoice numbers ran consecutive for years ofinvoices, we also noticed the invoices did not have proof of payment Select Home Warranty requestedcopies of receipts from the customer for the services rendered =, the customer produced receipts that ran concurrent, again, for four different yearsSelect Home Warranty reached out to MrDavid Smith, the technician and/or President of Always Absolute Air Conditioning andwas asked about what type of maintenance was performed and additional information that could assist thecustomer with their claim The technician was non-cooperative and stated he would not give me his name nor any information, he stated "we will see you in court", in reference to the customer and himself against Select Home Warranty.The customer is a monthly and is not entitled to a refund at this time The customer is more than welcome to contact us directly to discuss her cancellation, as we did not receive a cancellation request from the customer after we discussed the cancellation process of monthly customers.Please acknowledge attached receipts and invoices from customer
I am rejecting this response because I received a check for $I paid $on 8/19/for a year plan and cancelled on 7/28/I should receive a reimbursement for almost months or approximately $
On 05/07/the customer signed up with Select HomeWarranty for a month agreement with monthly payments, that contract wasrenewed 05/07/2014.Our payment system is an automated system, once the cardinformation is entered it is saved in the system and automatically charges thecustomer on the set day the customer and Select Home Warranty has agreed on tocharge the payments.The customer was last charged on 11/07/in the amount of32.92, we have not received payment for December, January nor February This is a warranty plan, if payment is notreceived the warranty coverage will lapse.The customers’ responsibility is to make sure that there avalid payment method for continual coverage.The customer did contact Select Home Warranty to place aclaim on 02/26/to place a claim, and we did advise due to lapse incoverage we are unable to take the claim.Select Home Warranty would be more than happy to reinstatethe customer, but, they will be considered a new customer and will have to waitdays to place a claim

We have assigned a technician that works on the customers brand for the dishwasher, and we do apologize for the delay with the check , it has been mailed as of 1/12/2015, per the phone call on 01/04/
We did speak to the customer and have assisted with the claim
We did reach out to the customer and re-explained the policy limits and that in order to get a higher reimbursement we need maintenance recordsThe customer hung up on us.We have already approved the customer for the policy cap
Someone from our office spoke with the customer and they informed us that the roof was already repaired by their fatherCustomers claim has been closed out accordingly

Select Home Warranty has advised the customer that they fall within the first day on electrical claims The customer purchased purchased the policy on 06/03/2015, the policy does not gointo effect until days after the purchase date The day period starts the day the policy goes into effect, this is not information that we keep from anyone, it is clearly in the Terms of Agreement.See Below:Select’s LiabilityDimensions, Brand and Color, LimitsSelect will not be responsible for matching a system or appliance’s color, brand, or dimensions and only is responsible for repairing and/or replacing systems or appliances of similar capacity and efficiencyThe following guidelines will be implemented to provide a repair/replacement allowanceFor heating or cooling equipment(hvac), in the first three months of coverage a $repair/replacement allowance will be paid to the customerThis repair/replacement allowance will increase to $after the first three months of coverageFor appliances, plumbing and electrical (non-heating or cooling) in the first three months a $repair/replacement allowance will be paid to the customerThis repair/replacement allowance will increase to $after the first three months of coverageFor additional coverage options in the first three months a $repair/replacement allowance will be paid to the customerThis repair/replacement allowance will increase to $after the first three months of coverageIn the event a part is not available, Select's responsibility is to reimburse for the value of the part up to the policy limits.If Freon coverage is selected as an option the limit is $for the first months of coverage and $for the remainder of the contract.The customer was sent a copy of said Terms to review, sign initial and send back that they agree to the terms or they can cancel for a full refund within the first days The customer signed and returned their contract on 06/03/
