Car Totaled 2/1/18. Was told I did not have to pay any more payments. Check recieved in April from auto insurance. Negative report added to my credit record. I was told once check clears they will go back to date of loss and remove it. I was told to dispute it and they would remove it. *** 25 I was told my dispute was received and they will not remove it. False negative reporting for March, April and *** 2018.

They are a loan company that I recommend no one uses. The interest rates are too high and they charge too much interest (per day and the loan has interest also)!! I had a 72 month loan, after that time expired I still owe 15,280.64 after paying 22,947.45. " DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY"!!! THEY ARE A RIP-OF!

DO NOT USE CHRYSLER CAPITAL TO LEASE A CAR!!! BUYER BEWARE! I have leased 3 vehicles and purchased one through Chrysler Capital. They are terrible! The fees they have charged me are ridiculous! You may think you are getting a good "deal" when leasing, but whoa to you if you done't a) buy the car or b) lease again through Chrysler Capital. The turn in fee is $400 per car and they won't waive it even though I have been a great customer, no late payments, have paid off one vehicle completely within 6 months. I'll never work with them again. They can't tell you what you are being charged for half of the time, their customer service reps don't understand what taxes are being charged and what they are for. I had a repeated problem with the Riverlink toll system. Even though my account has ALWAYS been in good standing with money being pre-paid into my account, Chrysler Capital has charged me for unpaid toll feesno one can explain why though! And, they won't talk to Riverlinkjust charging me for these non-existent infractions! In addition, the toll system charges in whole dollar amounts, Chrysler Capital is charging me $79.50, the math doesn't even make senseand they can't explain it! They are so incompetent!

Our auto loan company evidently sold our finance contract to Santander, effective 4/15/2018. We were notified of this on 4/13/18...our monthly payment, which was set up to auto pay, was due on 4/17/18. The previous company, Alphera Financial, did not debit the payment amount. When attempting to contact Santander Consumer USA, at XXX-XXX-XXXX, per their notification, you get the recording that this is a debt collector and all calls will be recorded. The notice also said that if you have auto bank draft, your scheduled payments will cease. All I wanted to do was get set up under auto pay with Santander to be current with our payments and also not be charged a fee for a transaction online or over the phone. On 4/25/18 I called and spoke with Francisca (had a foreign accent) who told me our last payment was made on 3/20 and that if you sign up for auto pay at "myautoaccount.com" that I could set up auto payments under Santander. I tried to do this and received an error message that said the account number was "invalid" (the account # I input was printed clearly on the Santander statement)
I called back and was told that I could access a form on their website that I could use to set up auto pay. Sounded simple enough. I printed out the form and filled in the info along with a copy of a voided check and faxed (per the form instructions) to XXX-XXX-XXXX. When I didn't see any debits on our bank account, I called back on 4/27 and was told by Mikenda that they DID receive our forms for debit, but it takes 3-5 business days to process, but couldn't talk to me about the account because my name wasn't on their records. I filled out a form to have our owner allow them to speak with me about the account, going forward, and faxed this to the same fax #. XXX-XXX-XXXX.
On 5/3/18 when we STILL had not been debited and now are past due, I called back and spoke to Antoinette and she informed that they did NOT receive our form for the direct debit but DID receive the form to authorize them to speak to me and have my name on the account now. I was very exasperated at this point and asked her HOW DO WE PAY OUR BILL without being charged a fee?? She said that she could take my bank account information over the phone and I begrudgingly gave it to her. As of this morning, surprisingly, our bank account had been debited the correct amount. So far, no fees have been assessed for this transaction.
I don't know whether she has us set up for autopayment, going forward. I will likely need to set my reminder to follow up with them to make sure this gets processed properly.

I have had santander for my car loan since July 2017 and was informed that I can only pay through a bank account. But today I google "santander pay bill with credit card" and the first article says they accept credit cards. It is under the santander wedsite with links to call and login to use credit cards online or over the phone. So I called and the representative couldnt find the article (which is her job) was rude the whole conversation repeating that they only accept banks and that it was not for auto loans but I read the article it started auto loans numerous times. They are rude ill never finance through them again.

Thats the google page stating they take credit.

My Account was sold to Santander Consumer USA with without any knowledge or from BWW(Alphera).. 4/20/2018 I foward a check for the payoff of my Loan because I did not trust this Company SANTANDER , every time I called for a payoff amount I would get a recording stating This is an attempt to collect a Debt anything you say will be recorded. Then I would go to a Caribbean country where I could not understand the collector and they did not have my payoff information ... Then I tried to pay online and they were charging me interest and fees... I need this resolved immediate!! Before my fees covered the complete cost of the loan all over again!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR LEASING! I leased through Chrysler Capital (apparently a division of Santander Consumer USA). They harassed me about a month before the lease was due. It finally stopped when I had two phone calls with two different "managers". I received a call from a "higher up" and she was not helpful at all. Their website does not show the correct amount owed, which I believe is intentional so they collect more payments unjustly. It's still showing that I owe them a lease payment (not true, I have called and asked them to close my account, they wont until they recieve my final check. I returned the vehicle over 3 weeks ago and just not received my "final" bill. An all around bad company to work with. Horrible business practices not out to provide good customer service. I don't even want to give them 1 star, they don't deserve that. Run away if you are asked to use them.

I got a car loan. My credit was not good at the time so I ended up with Santander with their 25% interest. Though the payment was high I was having little trouble paying for the car until I got a cancer diagnosis and had to pay bills associated with that. I called Santander and they did give me an extension (moving that months payment to the end of the loan therefore extending time to maturity). This worked for the months that I needed the extra money to be able to get my treatments. Then I decided since my payments had been on time and my credit score had gone up that I would refinance so to get my payments down as the cancer was taking a real financial toll.

I applied to my bank for a loan. They said that I qualified for the loan but unfortunately not for the car I had as I owed more than the car was worth and did from the beginning of my loan. So I went back to Santander to see if they would refinance for me or modify the existing loan to allow me to pay it off. They could not do that and so I fell behind by one payment and had a discussion with them about whether they would repossess the vehicle and I was told as long as I am making at least a partial payment each month that they would work with me to keep that from happening and that if they found it necessary to do so that they would notify me ahead of time. This was a lie because little short of a month later they came without notice and took the car leaving me no way to get to the cancer center.

Called them again and asked if there was any way they could redo the loan or modify it so I could continue to pay it off. I was told no but I could reinstate the loan and if I made the next two payments then the loan would reach maturity then they could look into doing some kind of modification for me. No guarantee and they wanted more money to get it back then I was able to pay as they very well knew. So on top of having cancer I have lost my transportation to get to the treatment center and the stress has caused all kinds of problems with my blood pressure and heart condition.

This company is Definitely a predatory lender. The parent company Banco Santander who is out of Spain Holds Santander Consumer USA Holdings Incorporated who is in turn the parent company for Santander Bank and Santander Consumer USA along with other companies it is now picking up including RoadLoans.com and Chrysler Capital. Be very careful if you are getting a loan to take the time to investigate the lender all the way back to where it started from. You *** be surprised that your hard earned paycheck is going offshore...

This company is extremely suspect. In December 2017 I called Santander in Dallas to obtain the pay-off amount, so Inpaid the amount quoted and waited for my title to arrive. In February, I called again, and was told I had a balance of $13. I paid that. After a month, I called for my title they said it was in the mail. Since that time I have called and spoken to some individuals that could not be understood in the English language and as far as upper management. Upper management offered me a Lein Title instead of the title to my car. I was told by Stephanie, there is only one. It cannot be duplicated. I was informed the the lower level employees spelled the street name incorrectly and I am to accept the Lein Title Release. Shady. Yes. Unprofessional. Staff included. Unpaid 24,000 for a car valued at 11,000. Not their fault. I paid every dime. And no TITLE. Do NOT do business with Santander. Even sounds reptilian. Sssssssss
