I was solicited by two gentlemen at home in *** back in July of 2017. They talked me into a contract with them for Safe Security and explained to me that they would buy out the contract with my current security system at the time, *** I had decided to leave *** because they were no longer coming out for maintenance of the system. I recently realized that both *** and Safe Security have been pulling funds from my checking account each month since I had Safe Security installed. I called *** and they have no record of Safe Security ever contacting them to buy out the contract. I was told it was 900 dollars to cancel service with them. When I talked to Safe Security they wouldn't help me with the issue. I'm elderly and have some memory issues from a head injury a few years back and they wanted me to remember the names of the two gentlemen that came out to my property. I don't remember. I was told that they couldn't do anything about it and that I needed to call ***. I have also been having an issue with Safe Security not coming out to perform maintenance.

Verizon is in the process of retiring its copper network in *** They (Verizon) cut my service in *** disabling my alarm system. My alarm system isn't compatible with *** so I had no other option than to cancel my service with Verizon. The only reason I had the line was for the alarm system. The last time SAFE SECURITY was able to do a successful automatic "timer test" was ***. I continued to pay SAFE SECURITY the *** monthly fee because they made me think I had to pay out my current contract. I contacted customer service in April to find out what needed to be done so my contract wouldn't auto renew for another year since it was due to expire on *** I was told to send them a letter to *** requesting cancellation. I sent the a certified letter on *** requesting cancellation and a final bill. Neither of which has happened to date. I wanted to make sure they received the letter so I sent them an email. I never received a reply so I contacted customer service and spoke to ***. She asked me to send her a copy of the letter which I did, then she asked for a hand signed copy which I also sent her. I was then sent a bill in the amount of *** which I paid on *** I've tried calling them and contacting them via email several times to no avail. I now have a bill dated*** stating that my account is past due in the amount of $97.78.

I was told I was in a 2 year contract. It was a lie. I have been getting the run around since they installed the system.I signed up with *** but Safe bills me. Neither one of these businesses will help . The alarm was beeping making all sorts of noises. The rep said I can cancel after 2 years . It was a $200 cancel fee. The office said $1800 . The cost keeps going up. I, on a fixed income and I’m 78 years old this new technology is difficult some times. I have called in so many times and was put on hold for hours .

Contract Terms: 07/2014, 36 months, auto renewal for successive 1 year (Renewal Term) unless cancelled by either party in writing no less than 30 days prior to the end of then-current term.

The customer has stated that they cancelled the account years ago.
Verbal cancellations are not accepted, per signed security contract agreement.
SAFE Security has checked our records and there is no cancellation letter on file for this customer.
The customer signed the security contract agreement acknowledging that they understood the terms and conditions of the agreement.
A cancellation letter needed to be received by 06/30/18, in order for the original contract term not to auto renew which was scheduled to expire on 07/31/18. Since a cancellation letter was not received, the account automatically renewed for another year through 7/31/18.
To resolve this issue, the customer will to send a cancellation letter to *** and pay the balance of contact.
Once SAFE Security receives the balance of contract payment in the amount of $601.91 and the cancellation letter the account can be submitted for cancellation.
Until the balance of contract payment is received, the customer will be held to the contract terms.

I am ***. Early *** a fast talking salesman named*** came to my home. I let him in. He said his company was taking over ADT accounts. The service tech who was with him took my ADT box. I got no help or instructions on how to use it. He gave me a box that doesn't work. I do not have a copy of my contract. The only phone number I have is his, *** When I got it, I fell in the yard three times, and the remote didn't work. Then the other day it was just going off, I couldn't make it stop. I called the police, they came and called somebody and made it stop. They also found a phone number to make *** call me back. He called me back and lied saying he'd called me in the past. Supposedly the authorized dealer is *** Security. I am paying $45.49 a month. I probably owe them some money but I haven't gotten a statement this month.

I have been a customer of Safe Security for over 10 years now. As of *** I have been dissatisfied with the service I've received and requested the cancellation via email on *** to representative ***. *** advised this is the only information necessary for cancellation, and she would process the cancellation. I checked my bank statements all the way back to January and noticed there were recurring charges of $53.39 every month after "canceling." I contacted Safe Security to advise of the situation, and they stated I did not properly cancel services and would need to provide my cancellation request in writing. Basically, I was misinformed. I followed the new information and sent the updated cancellation of services on *** to a supervisor, *** The new cancellation letter had my signature included as instructed and confirmed. I hadn't received a refund to my account or any further correspondence so I then sent the signed cancellation letter six more times. Finally, on *** I received an email confirmation from *** (only because I was on the phone demanding at this point) and stated she has processed the refund request. As of *** I have not received a refund and funds are still being deducted from my account. This is the highest level of unacceptable service I've ever experienced. I was once a loyal customer, and now I simply hate this company. I've lost my job and finances are not easy to come by without assistance from family or severe budgeting. I just want what is mine. sent out an email regarding these door to door salesmen and I made the mistake of letting one in to just check my keypad for a possible upgrade with ***. Biggest mistake I ever made!!!!

I have been wanting to cancel my contract witch was only supposed to be for what I thought was only for 2 years but they said it was for 3, so I waited 3 years and when I called to cancel in June they said I had to call back in July and now they said that they needed a written letter 30days prior to the cancellation date of July 31st. Safe Security wants me to pay them 718.37 dollars before I can cancel. I have been on the phone with them at least 5 times since last year about this subject, I believe they record all conversations. Please help me to get out of contract, I cant afford to pay them 55.00 a month or 718.37 to get out of contract.

Had I been asked two weeks ago what kind of service Safe Security provided, I would have answered, "Mediocre, at best," yet the payment comes directly out of my account, and I didn't have the time to sit on the phone trying to get out of my contract.
Last weekend, lightning struck my security system. It has taken several days to get a technician to respond, and now, Safe Security is saying that I must pay $2,000 to get out of my contract (that supposedly auto renewed in June) or sign a three year contract. Phone attendants were not sure how long my current contract is for, and after being put on hold for at least fifteen minutes, the issue was not resolved. I have not been able to recontact them--I can't get through on the line. This company is, in a word, awful.

Request for termination of SafeSecurity services due to dubious, fraudulent business practices. Allegations of unethical, unfair business practices, attempts to establish contractual relationship basis with consumer, and incremental increase of monthly fees, with spurious reasoning. Immediate termination of services was requested by email, confirmed by my missive transmitted via US mail on *** and *** As of *** I am still receiving invoices with additional monthly charges, completely ignoring the termination request.

I would love to file a complaint but their tiny font contract would say they are right.
We signed a 36 month contract. But we have moved out of state and wanted to cancel it
They are requiring the 14 months left on it to be paid unless the new owner decides to go with them.
I think it is awful to have to pay over $600 because we moved. I wouldn't have complained if it was a month fee for ending it. But we are 1800 miles away and don't need it here.
Shame on them for not allowing to cancel without paying the whole contract when someone moves.

This company has been fraudulently charging my account since 2016 via a fake auto pay. They clam to have brought an account from a previous security company who services was terminated and equipment removed. They have a fake Email address and have never had my permission or written authorization to bill me or charge me for there services they claim to provide..

My father had one of their systems installed in our home. He cancelled the service later and the company even reported on his credit report that the customer had cancelled the service. He is now in a nursing home dying and out of nowhere the company started billing him again. I called and sent the documents they requested and the billings have not stopped. They may have turned some over to a collections agency. Unbelievably bad people.

Canceled service via letter 12/17 they claim it was never received, debiting my account for another nth's service. After calling I was informed there was a $128.00 cancelation fee due, after being a customer for 8 years. I also needed to send another cancelation letter. I disputed the charge, but sent a check with a memo (final payment) and included another letter. The check was cashed and they claim they didn't receive the letter (BS). After making another call they said the check was applied to my account and tried to debit my Checking account for the balance due. I blocked them from my checking account and called them one re time. and it goes on and on and on. I have just received another bill after sending a letter via email that I know was received because the ***. called and told me she would submit it. This is a SCAM, it follows your profile to a "T". They have not provided service since Dec. and they know it. These people need to be held accountable! I need your help!!! Please keep me informed.

Well, it’s great they forgave a debt I never incurred, but there is re to it than that. What about the $128 dollars they bilked me out of by claiming I had a buy out after 8 years of continuous service? They were the 3rd company servicing my account during that time. My original provider signed me to a 2 year contract that had a prorated penalty during those first 2 years, and that time had long passed when Safe Security took over. I disputed the buyout, but paid it. Everything would have been fine if they executed my cancellation at that point, but they saw me as an easy target and continued to try and get re ney. They claimed to have not received my cancellation letter 4 times (is that incompetent or what) billing me for services they knew they were not providing.

The Revdex.com has a 30 year history of Safe Security scamming its customers in this way, that alone should have sent up a red flag.

I would like restitution for $ 128.00 and a letter stating that they did not start the collection process or contacted the credit services concerning this unfortunate situation.

· On 1/3/2018, A check was received for the total balance payout of $128.98 for the nths of February, March and April. No cancellation letter was received

· On 5/24/2018 a cancellation email was received with no signature. The representative called*** to advised a signature is required.

· On 7/5/2018 the account was submitted for cancellation and the Revdex.com complaint was accepted as a formal cancellation with no additional payments

No refund will be honored. The payment of $128.98 was the total end of contract balance to cancel the account.

I decided to cancel my security service within 3 business days and sent a handwriting letter cancelling. Regretfully, I did not think to send it certified; I was simply following the directions given to me. The company apparently never received my letter and are holding me to a 3 year *** contract for a service I have had removed. I’ve since read reviews that I am not the only person this has happened to.

In *** my husband, *** and I cancelled services with *** due to dissatisfaction with their services and because they withdrew funds from our checking account without our authorization. Around *** we again began receiving invoices from *** for monitoring services we did not authorize. The new bills have a different Customer Account number from the one on our original bill of *** We wrote to them and requested that they discontinue billing us for services we did not authorize. They have continued to bill us for unauthorized services and are now sending us past due notices which could harm our credit rating.

I have been double billed for security services from September-December 2017. This company does not honor their promises and customer service is non-existent. After multiple phone calls, a letter mailed 3/1/2018, same letter emailed to *** in customer service on 5/5/2018, and emailed again at their request to *** on 6/14/2018 and again calling on 6/26/2018 I still have no resolution and was forwarded to supervisor *** so she could “investigate” my case.
