I rented a car from *** via PricelineHuge mistakeI was prompted to choose if I wanted to include insurance with my monthly rental file no.*** and I selected "yes"Had to pay $on the spotI chatted the next day with Priceline as my brother advised that was little for a month
insurance if the State of *** would probably charge for third party not just my vehicle collisionThey said their insurance covered everythingI arrived Feb 7th of to find *** did not honor Priceline insurance and I had to pay it again to comply with *** lawI called Priceline who told me I had to wait until I returned the vehicle for them to decide if *** is who should return my insurance money as they claimed *** was at fault -not themI had to return the vehicle early and upon returning it Feb.15th called Priceline again to adjust my car rate and the insuranceTo date I have called four times into customer servicr and they are telling me I have to wait for their resolution dispute and wait ten days after March 7th (their incorrect return date) to wait for their decision on returning my insurance money

I am rejecting this response because:
Thank you for the response but you are only confirming what I said in my complaint. Your policy was not on display when booking the reservation. What your policy is designed to do is defraud your potential customers. If I mistakenly book a room online for the wrong night or location and IMMEDIATELY call up customer service to request that the reservation be cancelled or changed, does it seem fair to be that inflexible to your potential customer. Every other travel service I have ever worked with allows you to cancel or modify a reservation. I travel for business and pleasure frequently and it seems exceedingly shortsighted for Priceline to antagonize their clients for the sake of $97. If you are to this inflexible then I will not only not patronize your services, but I will become a lifelong advocate to others (including my employees) to avoid your services. I will also be filing complaints with the credit card associations and the FTC to suggest that your acceptance of online credit cards should be evaluated due to your deceptive business practices

If you read what you attached it includes a section on the cancellation policy. The cancellation policy includes a date by which the cancellation request must be received. Someone seeing this would assume that it is possible to cancel the reservation but there isn't any way to cancel because the date listed is prior to the actual booking date. This is deceptive and most would say FRAUDULENT. If you wanted to be honest you would instead say "THIS RESERVATION CANNOT BE CANCELLED". You have left me no other choice but to escalate my complaints with the *** *** of ***, the Credit Card Associations, and the Federal Trade Commission to let them know about your fraudulent practices.
