First, I received this exact response from Priceline a day before they submitted it to Revdex.com and I already responded to them that their response was inappropriateIt is disengenous for Priceline to then submit the response to Revdex.com after I alerted them to their response being deficientHere is the response I sent to Priceline:
This response once again misses the issue entirelyI don't understand how no one that works for Priceline will admit that there is a problem with the search engine functionThis was not an occasional lagThis appeared to be an intentional effort on Priceline's part to not correct a broken search engineThis instant price increase was occurring for weeks and each employee whom I contacted was not able to correct the issueIt is completely impossible and I would have to be the stupidest person ever to believe that every single time I searched that the price increased by $in one second when I would click to book the flightIn fact, other websites were able to accurately reflect the pricesWhy wasn't Priceline? Priceline is trying to defraud their customers with this bait and switch tacticIn fact, I went directly to *** Airlines website and their prices were lower that Priceline's pricesYour company clearly is just trying to rip off customers and as such I have no choice but to take my business elsewhere.Priceline is intentionally inflating the prices after the search is completedAs I stated above, you would have to be a fool to believe that the prices change in one secondThe price cannot always be $when I search regardless of the time and day and jump $when I try to bookThat is impossibleIf they were acting in good faith, they would admit that there is a problem with their search engine and fix itI will never book travel through this despicable fraudulent company again

I am rejecting this response because: Should you take the time to review my initial chat and complaint with *** you will see that I have been saying the same exact thing from the beginningYour website allowed me to select a morning flight for a name your price ticket(s). If that is not or should not be an option for the name your price, ***ding, ding, ding something is wrong! Not only was I allowed to select morning flights, but other customers were able to do the same. I only initialed the box, because the website will not work if you do not put your initials in the box. Which is a bait to trap individuals. After not being able to select seats online, I checked directly with the airline. I was advised that the flight did not have any available seats, and that particular flight should not have been sold by Priceline; thus no seats can or will be assigned at the gate, because the flight is soldout. Rendering the connection useless. Again, I am aware that Priceline can change the departure flight and the connections that do not have seats. I will respond accordingly
Your statement of "we are unable to assist the consumer any further" is due to a lack of effort. You did not assist at all and did not try

I am rejecting this response because: when I was buying ticket there was not off peak only there was 6:am - 10:pm and ticket was for next day that is why I called and cancel ticket , later on find out they don't want to cancel I thought some one stealing my credit card so I called my credit company to cancel transaction later on find out that was PricelineI don't know how many more people are victim of themIf you guys don't pay all of my money back at least pay some of them since I bought ticket on same day from * ***

As I repeatedly told the Customer Service person over the phone that night, I did not add the *** *** area to my request, and DID NOT SHOW IT ON MY END when I submitted this requestSo if it was added on their end, it was a computer error on their endI DID NOT SHOW *** *** on the hotel request, just Downtown ***/ *** ***The only thing I changed on my request was the level of star on the accomodationIt is ludicrous to expect anyone to believe that their system is infallible and that they have never had a computer error beforeI called as soon as this happened, spoke to two different customer service agents to let them know about the error, and asked to be sent further up the Customer Service chain, only to be told they don't have anyone in charge of their customer service and that I would have to write to their corporate office if I wanted to take issue with the reservationThis was, as for many other people who use Priceline, a last-minute situation, and needed immediate attentionThis was a computer error on Priceline's side, and they need to acknowledge that yes, computer errors can happen, do happen, and then rectify the situation

It is dishonest for Priceline to assert that a *** *** and Suites is comparable to the 3-star hotels listed on the websiteThey argue that *** *** and Suites receives stars from both Priceline and Orbitz, their competitorThis is trueThey fail to mention that the hotel that they list as a comparable, *** Hotel, receives stars from Priceline and stars from Orbitz *** *** *** also list *** as being higher than stars)The same situation is true of ***, another hotel that Priceline lists as stars but every other website I examined listed as higher in rating. So while Priceline asserts that *** and *** are comparable to CI&S, Orbitz and other travel websites DO NOT AGREE with this, supporting my complaint
It is advertising to claim that a much nicer set of hotels is comparable to a much lesser innI believe that Priceline should acknowledge their mistake and re-book my reservation at a hotel that is truly comparable to those listed on their website, as advertised
