Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Let me shed some light on some of the facts involve in this particular situation As I previously mentioned that I never raised my bid more than $55/night and it got rejected but they charged me for $60/night for the room, I do not know how it went throughThe screen shot image that they have attached is a common form that is displayed, even when we loose the bidSo it is mandatory to fill that formI am not sure how it has the calculation as per $60/night on there I tried to explain the representative that there might be some technical glitch, but they didn't listen any word of mineYet I humbly said the customer representative that it might be my mistake since I am completely new to this site and have registered just an hour ago and I responded within mins of the bookingBut the way they spoke to me was little rude (as per my point of view)I do understand their business model since I have worked in this environment my self and I really look up to these kind of companies that provide such an ease when it comes to booking onlineI do understand that there are other customers who might take wrong advantage of this kind of service and might cancel a reservation when it is quite close to the dateBut at the same time I also feel that the business should also consider genuine kind of cases, like mine, where it is easy to understand that when a person is trying to get the issue to your notice within mins of booking, it must really mean something, isn't itOn my end I was also trying to think in favor of business tooI tried to explain the same logic to the customer representative, that my booking starts from 30th April which is one and a half month from the date, and hence the business will not incur any lossMoreover, they argued that I should have bought their cancellation insurance but their cancellation insured booking is $per room per night, which does not make any sense to buy it, when you are trying to get a room below $per nightI would really appreciated if they would consider my case and also have some permissible window, after booking, where people can get issues to their notice and get it rectified Moreover, I just have a some queries to clarify with them: What is the use of the feature if the customer is not happyThe customer shares his credit card details with a trust, what if he accidentally selects a deal which he realizes is not what he wanted or something which he hasn't selectedIs he all responsible to trust youI really admire that you are providing this service of booking online rentals and making it easy, but don't you think that you should provide a little more flexibilityThus, as they were not able to reflect on: How my card got charged $when I never went above $How does their cancellation policy is so non-customer oriented and completely neglects technical and human errorand Even the cancellation insurance they have doesn't make it reasonable for most of the casesI would like them to respond and get this issue resolved at earliest possible convenienceSincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Before negotiating my own price, I carefully researched every 5- star hotel description in location 7( [redacted] Strip) placed there according to priceline's description for each hotelPriceline has become very misleadingIn the specific description section of each particular hotel is accurate but when you go into the name your own price section they change it to include hotels that were not mentioned in that zone in the specific hotels descriptionI will not be using Priceline any longer as there are many more competitors available that do not use these deceptive practicesI will surely make these deceptive practices known on travel blogs and other travel websites to make it known that Priceline is conducting business in a dishonest, misleading, and unethical wayI have attached a file with a snap shot of Priceline's own website showing how they themselves describe the location of the Trump HotelAfter doing some research of my own, I can see that I am not the only customer to experience thisThere are many more very similar complaints regarding these deceptive practices Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I contend this is an intentional effort of the business to maintain a positive relationship with their Revdex.com complaint history when they are in fact unwilling to do anything at all I will forward email transcript of my chat with the business to evidence this factIn both responses as well as in communication with me the business states that: "The consumer may use another credit or debit card and attempt to again submit a request online via the priceline.com website." The fact of the matter is I was told by the employee and the manager at the counted of economy car rental that the insurance was not valid.. They have the ability to say whatever they want after the incident. After the fact you can tell me is was valid that did not help me at 2am in a foreign country when the people you are doing business with tell me your insurance in not valid and I have to buy their insurance for $400.00 dollars. I called priceline immediately and told them about the situation and asked that the insurance be canceled immediately due to it not being accepted.. I was told it was not a problem. If you look up economy rent a car San Jose Costa rica there are hundreds of similar claims posted about this same issue..
