I have used Priceline a couple times and have been happy with the services provided until the experience I had today I purchased a round trip ticket through Priceline that I needed to cancel, after the hr grace period, for a non-emergency To do so, it is going to cost me $in fees, on a $set of tickets With days of notice before the flight I thought I did the safe thing when I initially made the purchase by purchasing the third party insurance I found out that was a waste of additional $18, because the third party insurance (that is listed in priceline's webpage) would not honor my non-emergency as valid claim I contacted the customer service rep from the airline, priceline, and the insurance provider and asked for help in mitigating the fees or coming up with some flexibility on a future set of tickets The insurance provider would not budge The airline placed the fee onus on pricelineAnd, priceline placed the fee onus on the airline At least, priceline was willing to waive $of the fees though However, that still left me with a $fee I have to eat for something I can not use due to my non-emergency change in plans To me, this is unsatisfactory service And, has really jaded my opinion on priceline, the airline, and the insurance provider Due to the lack of help I received in this scenario, I feel like I have been cheated of the full amount I paid I have closed my priceline visa account and will be sure to stay clear of priceline, the airline, and the insurance provider for any of my future travel needs

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I would be more than happy for the Revdex.com to contact the manager at the hotelAs indicated from the beginning , I never requested a full refund on the one room when I called to cancel, even though it was only hours past the allowed time The Priceline representative offered to call the business and ask them to waive the feeSince I had just hung up from them and knew they would , I was surprised by the response from the Priceline repThe fact is that Priceline NEVER called the business, never spoke to any manager there and NEVERHad a recording of the alleged callThey continued to lead me to believe that if I could get the hotel to agree to a refund I would intact receive oneNow that I have spent many hours in the phone and email proving the hotel in fact is happy to have Priceline refund the money, the response now changes to "read the cancelation policy " Thank you to everyone at the Revdex.com for the time spent helping in this matter It appears that Priceline is running a shoddy practice and rewrds it's employees if they lie to their customers I sure hope that, at the bare minimum , this complaint will remain online for others to see if they are considering doing business with this "company" Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I would start by my appreciation for priceline to make a profit, and was happy that they responded with my contract since it clearly states: Best Price Guarantee in bold letters with no link to what that means in the contract singed by me The difference in price that is clearly shown to the customer upon checkout clearly shows that the customer is not getting the best price guaranteed and is clearly advertisingBest Price is bold font!
