Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, Ben White I feel Priceline's response to my complaint completely unacceptable The no cancellation and no change rule when placing a reservation is fine as long as the reservation was not made with fraudulent and misleading advertising Entry to the Florida Keys did not indicate the hotel it was miles north of the keys entirely After I discovered this mistake within hours of making the reservation, due to erroneous and egregious advertising, Priceline refused to refund the $Priceline charged to my credit cardPrice line refunded back only $ Even though this mistake of booking a reservation was due to Priceline's misleading advertising, they still felt that they should receive a $cancellation fee and $booking fee Then the last $in question, of the total of $183, Priceline told me they would credit $to a new order of a reservation I spent a good hour + on the phone with several customer service reps, the 1st one I spoke with 20-minutes and she was not taking care of my problem I asked to speak with her supervisor, she said her supervisor was busy and that I would have to wait I asked her how much longer would I have to wait? She said minutes I said fine SHE THEN HUNG UP ON ME PLEASE CHECK THE NOTES ATTACHED TO HER FILE I called back, of course I got someone else and asked to speak with his supervisor right away I spent the next minutes explaining what I had been going though and the fact that the previous customer service rep hung up on me after speaking with her for about minutes This customer service supervisor did not care that the previous customer service rep had hung up on me So, after speaking with this supervisor for minutes or so, she said she cant' help and that if I would like to contest this any further that I would have to start writing to the company to a dept The supervisor would not even give me person's name to write to but just a dept Then she just ended the call That was a horrible customer experience So, because of the misleading advertising on Priceline's part, a mistake was made Priceline, adamantly, refuses to take responsibility for their misleading advertising to correct their mistake by not letting me make a location correct reservation and apply the full amount that I paid within hours of making the 1st reservation The reservation I was making was more than days in advance Priceline duped me with their advertising as a consumer and is making me pay for it Due to the extremely unsatisfactory treatment as a customer and their misleading advertising, it is Priceline's responsibility to return my full refund

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Priceline did not address the core issue of my complaintI was told repeatedly by Priceline agents that Priceline was not the party to cancel the return leg of my ticket, when apparently they were the party charged with that task according to US Airways and eventually Priceline agent ***, I.d6zMoreover, [redacted] also told me to call Priceline to cancel before my insurance claim could be filedAdditionally, I want to know why most Priceline agents told me during my repeated calls, I was being transferred to a supervisor when that was not the fact [redacted] explained Priceline protocal in that regard, but never answered why I was told I was transferred to a supervisor Stated differently and until a satisfactory explanation is offered, it seems statements of fact were deliberately offered several times on two matters: Priceline told me repeatedly, US Airways was responsible for canceling my return ticketI was being transferred to a supervisor when I was not Nowhere in Priceline's [redacted] ' first response did she deny any of the two above complaints concerning apparent statements made by Priceline agentsTo me, that is significantMs [redacted] vague and deflective remarks "When you called US Airways, they advised you to call Priceline", begs the question why did I call US Airways when my first call was to PricelineI will answer that question; because Priceline told me I had to My reason for traveling to Arizona was to aid my year old father during the process of an involved surgeryI was aware that his circumstance could become quite fluid and it hasNone of this is fun and I still don't know when I can returnI bought "trip insurance" to guard against unforeseen changes to my return itineraryTo file a claim, according to [redacted] , the insurer, I would first need to cancel my return itineraryWhen Priceline consistently told me they could not cancel, it seems they were trying to block my ability to make a claimThis process may involve details I have no means to understand unless an in depth investigation is made or Priceline clearly explains what is going onIn any event this affair is way more stressful than what I bargained forI bought trip insurance as part of my ticket contract with PricelineMy part of the bargained for exchange was to payI paidPriceline's part is to provide tickets to fly including an insurance policy that will pay according to its terms I wonder if [redacted] is a subsidiary of PricelineBelow is a portion of the policy guarantee on the Priceline website where I purchased my ticket Post-Departure Trip InterruptionThe Insurer will pay a Post-Departure Trip Interruption Benefit, up to the amount in the Schedule, if due to your, an Immediate Family Member’s, Traveling Companion’s or Business Partner’s Sickness, Injury or death or Other Covered Events as defined: 1) your arrival on your Covered Trip is delayed; or 2) you are unable to continue on your Covered Trip after you have departed on your Covered TripFor item 1) above, the Sickness or Injury must: a) commence while your coverage is in effect under the plan; b) for item 2) above, commence while you are on your Covered Trip and your coverage is in effect under the plan; and c) for both items 1) and 2) above, require the examination and treatment by a Physician at the time the Covered Trip is interrupted or delayed; and d) in the written opinion of the treating Physician, be so disabling as to delay your arrival on your Covered Trip or to prevent you from continuing your Covered Trip Post-Departure Trip Interruption BenefitsThe Insurer will reimburse you, less any refund paid or payable, for the following: the additional transportation expenses by the most direct route from the point you interrupted your Covered Trip: (a) to the next scheduled destination where you can catch up to your Covered Trip; or (b) to the final destination of your Covered Trip; the additional transportation expenses incurred by you by the most direct route to reach your original Covered Trip destination if you are delayed and leave after the Scheduled Travel Date unused Rental Car Reservation costs, if purchased MsBetts, thank you for your continued interest in my Revdex.com complaint against Priceline's conductI stand ready to answer any question or provide any information I can provideAgain, thank you Sincerely, [redacted]
