Review: In April 2016, two charges appeared on my bank statement, i.e., $89.95 and $87.35 from a company by the name of [redacted] I called the bank to dispute the charges. I explained to the bank that I did not know of the company, had never ordered anything from them and had never received a receipt from them nor the alleged items I ordered. PNC bank said they would investigate and reverse the charges (and they did). They stated that should they determine that the charges were legitimate, they would deduct the amount out of my account again. On July 13, PNC determined that the charges were legit. They again deducted $89.95 and $87.35 out of my account (along with a $36.00 overdraft fee). This caused my account to be charged a second $36.00 overdraft fee. I called them and they stated they would again dispute the charges but it would take about 10 days and I could not receive my monies back until they had determined the charges were legitimate. The charges are NOT legitimate. I looked up [redacted] on line and can find no information on them. This is a fraudulent organization. They have no website where I could have possibly ordered the items they are charging me for.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of two $36.00 overdraft charges and the $89.95 and $87.35

Review: While traveling in Mexico with my sister a billing error occurred in which I was charged for an excursion in USD rather than pesos. I was charged $1500.00 which was the amount in pesos when it should have been a charge of $88.33 USD. I contacted dispute resolution and a temporary credit was issued to my account. Over a month later I received a letter from PNC stating they were reversing the temporary credit because they were unable to assist in my dispute. The customer service representatives in the department have been extremely rude throughout this process, and most recently stated the excursion company was disputing the request. It is unclear to me what steps were taken to assist in resolving this issue other than obtaining a copy of the receipt.Desired Settlement: To be charged the correct amount for the excursion I participated in.

Review: While I was searching for a P. C. Support Site to secure my internet connections, I came across a company who claimed that they were affiliated with [redacted]. That company is called [redacted] They indicated online that my [redacted] subscription had expired and I needed to update my subscription. They stated this subscription would cost me $355.00. I proceeded to pay them the $355.00

by using my P.N.C. Credit Card. After this transaction, I called and spoke to a [redacted] representative. During our conversation, I gave them the name of that company and asked if they were affiliated with that company. That representative stated " that company is in no way affiliated with [redacted] P.C. Support and this was clearly a scam". At that point, I went to my local P.N.C. bank and filed an official report with the P.N.C. representative. She indicated " this is clearly a scam and "no worries I will get my money back". On 12/08/16, I received a questionnaire from P.N.C. asking me to fill it out to the best of my ability related to this dispute. Shortly there after, I received a phone call asking for that same information. They stated "somehow, the original questionnaire was miss placed."

At that point, they asked me to place all of that information in a letter form. Without notice, they mailed me a letter indicating my dispute was denied and they reversed the original decision and withdrew the $355.00 from account. As of this date, they will not reimburse me that money. This issue stated back in December 2015. I was told by law, the credit card companies protect us against these kind of illegal transactions.

On 6/20/16, I spoke with Megan J[redacted] (Executive Client Relations) P.N.C. BankShe indicated that the amount of $300.00 they deducted from my credit card balance due to the dispute was going to be final. According to a letter I received from P.N.C dispute department indicates on 6/09/2016, they issued a temporary credit and once the investigation is completed, I will be notified of their decision. This is the only letter I recieved in reference to this dispute. Therefore, I am not satisfied with their decision. Thanks [redacted]

Review: I would like to call myself a PNC loyalist that have been serially abused by the bank's modus operandi.

Like any other customer, I had gone to do business recently. I represent, [redacted]. Another account was opened with a large deposit. Normally, large deposits triggers the bank. Immediately I was approached with all kind of financial offers, which I declined. Suddenly the attending officer of the bank saw the transactions of the account with a company called "SQUARE" and they without my consent called their merchant service department to sell me their services.

On the phone was their Washington DC representative Ms. Damienne A[redacted] whom I recognized by her voice. She had serially tried to sell us a service of which we have had a very bad experience from at one time. Their machine was never transmitting, and we have to call their department to make every card swipe go through. on the phone, she did the talking. She was primarily upset that we did not continue with her services. She continued promoting their new machine and whatever package came with the services. She told me that since I was an existing customer of the bank, I can only qualify for a $150 rebate. I insisted that I am a new customer hence the business that I was representing was only about six months old.

She claimed that the new services came with a brilliant experience and that I should try it. she then asked me to check my email and electronically sign the document that she was sending. This I never did after I left the bank. My associates declined the offer based on the 12% monthly service fee. To my greatest surprise, the Merchant service went into my company's account and took about $400. I have since complained that I did not sign any documents nor received any machine. I personal have communicated with Ms. D[redacted] who found out that the machine was shipped to a wrong address. All attempt to have this issue resolved have been ignored and the bank have fraudulently deposited 27c to activate and charge us monthlyDesired Settlement: At this point, the bank has continued to bill us through a fraudulent self activated account by the merchant department.

The company, "[redacted]." would require a full refund of the unauthorized card machine, a full credit of the fraudulent monthly service fee withdrawn from the account. our company would happily review any documents we signed and if the bank can produce any electronically signed documents, then we will proceed with the acceptance of the offer to sign up with them.

Review: On 6/7/16 I was charged $ 36 for overdraft, when I contacted the customer care is saying the check I deposited of $ 400 and $6500 through mobile deposit are not fully available to cover the charge of $ 112. I want to let your bank know that there is no where mentioned on the mobile deposit receipt that the funds are not available not even my online transaction history shows anything, so why I am suppose to pay $36 in fees for your banks fault of not letting customers now about it. I went to Pnc bank grove street branch in jersey city and the manager there tried to remove the fees but she said the system is not letting her remove from the account and asked to call the customer care. I contacted customer care and I got a rude person who talked so rudely like I did a crime to call the customer care regarding this and the same happened to the secure message reply as well.Desired Settlement: I hope that I will get my overdraft charges reimbursed.

Review: As of 11:30 pm 5/2/16, my PNC checking account had a balance of $1.02. Shortly afterward my monthly SSDI benefit was deposited. I immediately drove to a PNC atm and withdrew $70.00 leaving a balance of $1939.02 reflected on the atm receipt. Sometime after midnight on 5/3/16 they posted paper check #[redacted] for $76.54 which reflected cleared on 5/2/16 generating a $36.00 overdraft fee. However the atm receipt reflects a positive balance and no check. PNC refuses to take the overdraft fee off due to their cutoff time they say. BIG BANKS LIE. I spoke to Assistant Mgr Alondra H[redacted] on 5/3/16. She attempted to override the fee unsuccessfully and would get back to me by end of day or 5/4/16. She did not. So much for BIG BANK customer service. The fee specialist at the toll free number also refused. The [redacted] Bank commercial reminds me that the BIG BANK in the commercial could be PNC. [redacted] Bank here I come. If $36.00 is worth bad press, their goal will be achieved. This will be posted on my FB page and will encourage my friends to share with their friends. [redacted] has the right plan to break up the BIG BANKS.Desired Settlement: A refund and a change in their overdraft policy.

If you have other options like a credit union, I wish I started there before I started banking with PNC. They have a horrible business practice. The fees are ridiculous and they do not care enough about their customers to fix or resolve any issues that I see so many people have complained about. I called, emailed and received a phone call back from a financial manager and all they kept doing was spewing the same asinine rhetoric that still 1. Did not answer my question 2. They didn't take the time to answer my question 3. Did not even pursue creating any solution. Granted an overdraft fee can be taken care of... my issue is with the customer service. They were so cruel and mean when I spoke to them over the phone. I work in customer service so of course I understand the tribulation they might face. I get it.. but to charge me a $36 over draft fee for a $25 pending charge is ridiculous... I went to a bank branch to withdraw my rent money. I had enough to cover the pending balances as they're was only one at the time. So I don't have much money at all and just being in a hard place, I had to use the remaining $ 3.21 to purchase something to eat until I could borrow some funds the next day. I woke up the next morning to two emails. 1.Email I received at 11:42 pm stated that I had a balance of 55 cents in my bank account. 2. The second email rec'd at 3:42 AM stated I insufficient funds. At no point did I receive any emails prior to their transaction cut off date ( which was told to me by the financial manager was at 12 am ) that I received an actual over draft fee!!! If that was the case, I would have made the attempt to find the money to cover a charge- that wasn't pending by that time in the first place. I called several people and they all said - not our fault... well according to you... I shouldn't have received an over draft fee if the cut off date was 12am... at 11:42 PM I have 55 cents. This has never happened to my account before... Generally the pending transactions are resolved on Monday night ( another thing a representative told me) When I spoke to the rep today, he told me, what do you want me to say to you- do you want me to send you some pamphlets!!! I understand people experience issues through out the day and sometimes they just want their day to be over and to enjoy the weekend like anyone else- so my issue wasn't really that he was awful towards me... it was the lack of resolve this man had for me. He talked down to me the entire time- I'd even push the envelope to mention how condescending he was- how about sexist maybe, his inflammatory responses were disgusting. PNC should be ashamed of themselves. How are we protected here? I'm not finished with this issue... because as I've read... this is an ongoing issue... At one point a long time ago, when I first got with PNC, I encouraged my family to open accounts... but being that I've had issues (isolated) with them.. is the reason I'm writing this now... The last time... they cancelled my card at 10 pm at night... I woke up to do some Saturday shopping and by the time I got to the counter... it was past 12 pm when the banks are closed and I could not purchase anything till Monday or get gas... I had to bum a ride from someone. Although yes it was total inconvenience - they still did nothing. I changed my address over the phone and guess what the CARD DID NOT EVEN SHOW UP, thankfully I went to the branch for a card print out... and its been almost 4 months and still no card. just a bunch emails stating I need to activate my card!!!!!!!! PNC, YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS, YOU DON'T CARE YOU DON'T CARE YOU DON'T CARE. The right thing to do would be to contact me immediately.

Review: I paid 4800 in escrow last year and my mortgage was sold to PNC mortgage which calculated my escrow payout this year to be 4300 dollar. My current payment was increased from 1340's to 1380's for a 300 dollar shortage they claim from last year. I received a new payment of 1750 a 400 dollar increase in my house note and escrow with no notice or explanation of the increase. My mortgage was sold without notification or any changes made were not notified to me just an increase of 400 to my house payment. which is about 4500 a year increase. I receive no explanation nor could anyone give me a rational explanation of why my mortgage was purchased and or sold and where all my money went in my escrow account. I was told I would receive a call back same day. did not happen. I was told to pay 3 different amount for my payment by employees. Very unprofessional and I am stuck with a monthly increase of 400 dollars without explanation or prior notification of an increase or justification for the increase.Desired Settlement: I would to be called back when told, I would like my escrow investigated for the last 3 owners of my loan to determine who failed to do their job and where every dime of my escrow money went since refinancing my home and how they are coming up with calculations from previous ownership of my loan. My current payment 1389 with 989 interest and principle leaves 4800 a year which is under the current amount being paid out this year for taxes and insurance so how could I have a shortage from annual increases when his years payout is under what was collected? and how can you justify a 375 dollar increase monthly to my note? I would like these questions answered!

Review: I was contacted by PNC to refinance my home mortgage in February and now 6 months later I still haven’t been able to close my refinance. A typical refinance will take a maximum of 45 days not 6 months! I’ve given them all the information the loan officer has requested to process the loan. I’ve repeatedly called over the last 6 months to find out what the status of my loan was. Sometime they’ve asked for more information, which I provided in a timely manner, most times they are waiting for someone in another department to do their job in order to close the loan. Now I’ve repeatedly tried to call and email my loan officer and don’t even get a response. I’ve talked to managers and they have told me they will make sure I get a response but still I get no response. I didn’t start this, they did! And the only reason I’m continuing this is because I was promised hundreds of dollars in saving on my loan monthly!Desired Settlement: I just want the loan finished!!!

Review: PNC mortgage did not inform me about my mortgage was sold to them, the start of the payment with them and the following late payment notice.

I setup an automatic payment for my mortgage with [redacted], but it was sold to PNC mortgage. However, I was not aware when the payment should start with PNC mortgage, and what I should do after the transition, which resulted in the late payment in my mortgage with PNC Mortgage

To make the matter worse, I did not receive any late payment notice from PNC mortgage which cause a 60 day late payment. I paid off all my late payment as soon as I know about it on 1/21/2016.

They claimed that I receive their mails, but I have a witness letter who can confirm that I did not receive any letter from PNC mortgage dated from 10/5/2015 until 1/21/2016.

I felt they did not try their best effort to inform me. They should have email me, call me, send me a text message, rather than just sending me mails (and assumed that I got them) which clearly I did not receive.

To support my point further, I was never late in paying any of my debt in the past, I had excellent credit score before this incident, and I can prove that I have more than sufficient fund to pay the mortgage at the time.Desired Settlement: remove 60 days late payment reported to the credit bureau

Review: The bank rep. came to my place of employment to promote their bank and promised if you opened an account with them and made a thousand dollars in deposits within 3 months you would get a $100.00 promotion check. I ask specifically the rep what requirements I need to receive this $100.00 promotion and she told me to sign up and I would receive this promotion. I called last week to see when I would be getting my $100.00 deposit and the rep. told me it would be in my account today. I called to inquire about my account and I get a different representative who tells me I do not qualify for the promotion because I was supposed to have a direct deposit to qualify. I remember telling the representative that I do not have a direct deposit and she told me I did not need it. The rep. today said she apologize because I was misinformed. I am not satisfied with that apology. I refuse to just accept this non sense. I want my $100.00 promotion because this is what I was promised and I will inform my employer about this issue because they should not be promoting a company like PNC.Desired Settlement: I want my $100.00 promotion I was promised. I pulled my money out of another bank and took the time to go to this bank......which is very inconvenient as far as the ATM because sometimes it does not accept atm deposits and I was told because the machine is full but now this. I am very disappointed.

Review: My name is [redacted]. I received a settlement check from [redacted].com in the amount of 915.95. The check was drawn off of pnc bank. I went to the pnc bank on [redacted] to cash the check. I had gotten of work at 4;30pm. when I got home the check was in the mail. I went to the drive thru and gave a teller my i.d. and the check. he asked if I had a checking account with the bank , I said no so he told me I had to come in. so I did. he had given the check to assistant branch manager pamela w[redacted]. she asked me for i.d. which she had because the taller kept it until I went in the bank and another form of i.d.so I asked her if my social security card would do and she said no because it could be copied so I asked what about my birth certificate she proceeded to say no. she asked me if I had a gun permit for a form of i.d. I told her no, she asked did I have a debit card I said no but I had a netspend card I even gave her the letter that came with the check.finally she accepted the netspen card.. ms w[redacted] proceeded to inform me the check was a fraud because the check did not belong to me but to someone else what a shock to hear this. she picked up the phone and called someone and before she hung up she said I thought so. she told me the check was valid but the check belonged to some else she never said who. she said my name was put in place of this persons name ..I took it as if she was saying I forged the check. so I told her to give me the check back and she said since it was a fraudulent check she couldn't give it back to me. I was so upset how I was treated I got up and left. when I got home about 5;30pm I located the company who sent me the check and the person I talked to named [redacted] said the check was valid and it was a settlement check. so the next day may 17,2016. I wake up the next morning to talk to one of the accountants at the general information services about the check . I talked to [redacted], she also informed me the check was a valid check written out to me. she called the pcn bank and talk to the branch manager about the check and let him know the check was valid.still no call from the bank. I go to the bank and talk to the bank manager I don't remember the name, when I walk in there was a black women who greeted me and my wife. I told her my name and she know about the check and the branch manager was standing near her. I heard him say they are they here about the check and she said yes. so he informed us pamela was coming in late and could we come back in an hour. I asked him if I could talk to him about what happened with pamela. I went to his office and told him what I am saying to you. he told us she was trying to protect us and the bank..I look it a different way when she said he basically took someone else name off the check and put his name there. how embarrassing to me for being accused of doing something like this.. so I asked him where the check and letter was and he said I am just finding out about this today and I am sure she has it in a safe place. he says she will be in in an hour could we come back and he would have her call me when she got in. so by the time we got home pamela had called us. I called her back and it went to voice mail. so I called the branch manage and I was informed he was in a meeting with the boss.I hung up and 15 min later pamela called back to my home. she still insisted the check didn't belong to me that it was written to someone else. I told her we can in that moring a talked to her manager about the check...I told here she needed to call [redacted] at GIS in accounting. I take it she did and 5 min later she called to say come pick up the money she asked if I had two forms of i.d. over the phone and I said yes.I told her she owed me and apology and she said yes I do. and I asked her so who did you talk to to conform the check was a fraud and she said she didn't remember the name and she had a different number then us to call. I don't know why tshe asked about the i.d. when she looked at it the day before. but what I don't understand is who did she talk to the day before to confirm this was a fraudulent check . when I went to get the money the black young lady was the only one in the bank. so I asked where is every body? she said pamela was pumping because she breast feed her baby. how unprofessional was that. she know I was coming. so I sat for 10 min waiting for pamela to come out still no pamela. the branch manage came out and said hi guys and waived at me and my wife. and nothing else once again how unprofessional so the teller had me come over to cash the check and he apologize. why would he do that I was accused and inconvenienced by pamela . so the branch manger and the assistant manger never come out to apologize for the inconvenience caused by her and I still had to pay a 10.00 fee for cashing this check. which this fee could have been waived for the causing me stress and calling me a fraudulent writer of checks. I have never been so humiliated in my whole life then on may 16,2016 in your [redacted] pnc bank. [redacted], [redacted],[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want to let you and others know how I felt discriminated against, I feel because of my nationality. I feel like they took one look at me and figured this is a forged check. I am unsatisfied because the branch manage and assistant branch manager never can out and made me an apology for calling me a forger of this check and discrediting my character. I feel like they should have owned up to the embarrassment they caused me and making me stress out and very upset over something I wouldn't do.

Review: I have been going thru the process on a mortgage loan since Aug of 2015. 8 months is a ridiculous amount of time to be trying to get a loan. The mortgage people have no idea what they are doing and act like they completely don't care since its not them trying to purchase a home. There has been multiple time that I have been guaranteed that they have all the paper work that is required and I will be clear to close just to find out a wee later that is not the case and take 2 more weeks to get an answer on what is needed. If you are a mortgage person you should know what documents are required so that this does not continue to happen repeatedly. The professionalism and knowledge of PNC Mortgage is a joke and should seriously be addressed!Desired Settlement: Someone in PNC Mortgage to actually answer my calls and give me an answer on why I haven't been able to close on my house in almost 9 months.

Review: I have a mortgage on my primary residence with PNC Mortgage. I had one building destroyed by a tornado December 26, 2015. I have settled with the insurance company for the money needed to rebuild/restore the building in question. A check for just over $90,000 from [redacted] Insurance was endorsed by me and forwarded to PNC Bank, I believe in February for the damage..

Since that time I have been trying to get my buiding rebuilt, the issue is with getting the money PNC is holding for this rebuild.

I have been told since I am not hiring a general contractor (no such thing in Texas), and hiring my own contractors, I have to pay for the work out of my pocket, then, later, after a phase is complete and inspected, I will get reimbursed from the money PNC bank is holding.

This arrangement has caused me great financial strain, to the point it is affecting my health. PNC is EXTREMELY slow to respond to anything. I sent an invoice to be reimbursed two weeks ago, I haven't gotten the check for that money yet. I contacted PNC Loss Claims and was told they send checks out third class mail, and it takes a minimium of 10 days for me to receive a check after they have finally mailed it.

PNC bank is holding over $80k, while I am paying contractors out of my own pocket and hope some day to be reimbursed by them,,this is not fair or right. I have never been 30 days late on this, or any mortgage, or any payment on any account, I have over 40% equity in my home, but PNC has told me they treat me the same as someone that is 90 days late and owes more than the house is worth.

PNC Mortgage is causing me great financial problems because of the way they are handling this, I have consulting an attorney but am trying to keep from filing a lawsuit in Texas court if it can be avoided, which I am am doubting can be avoided based on PNC Mortgage handling of this matter.

PNC is sitting on funds [redacted] paid for this work, while I am having to pay out of my pocket and causing me financial stress.Desired Settlement: I want PNC bank to put 25% of the money paid by [redacted] into an account I can draw from for payment to contractors and suppliers, When I pay from the account I will send the paid invoice to PNC, and they can then add the additional funds to the account. This way I am not paying for this repair out of my pocket, while they are holding the money sent by [redacted] over 5 months ago.

I have great credit, I have lots of equity in my house, I am not 'going anywhere", if they will look at my situation I think any normal person would agree,,,if I can't get this resolved through the Revdex.com, I will file legal action against PNC Mortgage and seek not only the money they are holding, but to be paid for my time and pain caused by PNC Mortgage,.

PNC Bank, N.A. responded to Mr. [redacted] on July 26, 2016, and considers this matter addressed.

Review: I was a recipient of a UDAAP violation wit PNC Bank. I received two overdraft fees due to a deception with account information in the contract. I currently have overdraft protection on my checking account. but when I switched too two checking accounts and a savings account my overdraft protection only covered my main checking account. This information was not shared with me in my initial contract or when a similar situation happened last year. I received my overdraft fees on Thursday April 28th and my direct deposit was received on Friday April 29th. I had two transactions on April 28th and I was fine letting the transaction go through because my overdraft protection would pull the additional funds from my savings account. I had plenty of money to cover the overdraft in my savings account. I tried to resolve the issue directly with PNC Bank but they are refusing to further investigate the call that was done exactly a hear ago and if the representative explained the limitations of my second checking account. As I first stated this is a UDAAP violation of my protective rights as a consumer. The contact was deceptive t explain my account limitations of overdraft protection and the representative was deceptive by not explaining the detail of my contract when the situation happened a year ago. I was only informed about this on Friday August 29th in detail and now understand.Desired Settlement: I am requesting two overdraft fees to be refunded in the amount of $72.00.

Review: I am writing this complaint because my account was in the negative 7.37 on 5/9/2016. I placed 10.00 into the account at 9:01 cst and received an overdraft fee the next business day. I called in to the customer service line and was told that the funds was placed in the account at 10:01 est and this is why I was charged a fee. I spoke with a supervisor by the name of Jousha C[redacted] who told me that because I missed the time by one minute and it was not fair to pnc customers across the board this charge will stand. I am asking that this charge be removed from my account.Desired Settlement: I am asking that this charge be removed from my account
