We have agreed to mail our customer's recipient the $40.00 gift card originally ordered in November. Since this is being processed manually by our fulfillment center, please advise our customer to allow 5-7 business days.

They company has asked that I contact Kohls directly or that I file a new complaint for another instance of the original problem even though that original problem was not resolved to my satisfaction. That just doesn't make any sense. Having said that, I'm happy to let this go. The fact of the matter is that my family and I probably have spent in upwards of $1,000 every year at Kohls, but due to the company's inability to a) take ownership of the problems identified and b) take appropriate steps to solve those problems, we will no longer shop at Kohls.Most people wouldn't think to do business this way in an environment where they are already experiencing pressure from discount stores and online retailers, to say nothing of competitors with similar business models. To each their own, I suppose. We'll just take our business elsewhere. There is no shortage of options.

We have processed a return for Kohls.com order #[redacted] on 01/12/16. We advise our customer to allow 7-10 business days for the credit to appear. We also advise the customer update their shipping address in their Kohls.com shopping profile before placing future orders.

Upon review of the customer's complaint, I
did partner with our Corporate Refund Department to inquire as to what occurred
with her corporate refund.  They have verified for me that they are unable
to locate the original transaction in which the item was purchased. The
customer is refusing...

to provide specifics so we can locate order and issue her
a credit. She states it is in her husband's name, but will not provide an order
number. We also did offer her a Kohl's Merchandise credit in the amount of
$90.28, which she is refusing as well.  Unless specifics are provided to
us, we are unable to issue credit in the amount of $267.03.

Kohl's is not reimbursing for the item. since the customer decided to alter the guitar instead of returning the item to Kohl's.  At this time, we consider this matter closed.

This is the wrong message as I assume you are not refunding me $700+ on a $264.78 purchase. I have been refunded an amount to my Kohls charge. However, I want to know why if I paid $264.78 for the item, spent 2 months paying interest on it, and had to waste A LOT of time trying to get the issue resolved, why my refund was only $259.48. I won't get hung up on the time or interest this completely incompetent company has gotten from me, but if I paid $264.78 for an item, that is exactly what I expect to receive back. I will not be done with this until I receive the additional $5.30 owed to me. This may be trivial to you but it is principle that you DO NOT do these things to your customers if you value them. I cannot wait to pay off my bill in full and be done with Kohls for good.

Upon review of the customer’s concern, it appears that
regrettably her purchase was not made during the qualifying dates to earn the
rebate. The requirement of each rebate is set up and specific to each vendor of
our merchandise. The specific rebate qualification period is a decision...

the customer’s request to issue the rebate outside of the dates established by
KitchenAid.

I would be happy if business gives me a resolution in this regard. I spent the money according to the business advertisements to earn these gift cards. Now I cant use them because of the time duration. As a regular customer it hurts me to see kohl's customer service being so unresponsive. I tried to call the customer service several times in this regard and they would tell me that they cant do anything. I hope the business provides a resolution to this problem and honors their reward cards.
