We deeply apologize for the disappointment. As UPS states the package was lost in transit, we submitted a credit, on November 30, in the amount of $2,334.34, which will post to the Kohl's Charge card ending in [redacted] in an average of seven days. Additionally, Blue Kohl's Cash in the amount of $162.24...
was issued, via email, which will have a redemption period of 30 days.
Unfortunately, if a order was not placed, we are unable to do an adjustment. We can note in the system to honor a 20% off of a future order. We will not be issuing the customer a credit or mailing her out a gift card as requested.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. But why would a police report be necessary for lost in transit packages? It may have even been an error on the delivery personnel's aspect and delivered to the wrong address.

They are asking for the original forms about the rebate that I don't have all I have is the receipt of...
purchase. I had sent them all the information when I did the rebate. Thay should have the rebate information if the said there was a rebate for the item in the first place. I am not sure what else I could give them.

Jordan [redacted] While it is true that some credits have been made. The majority have not been made. I have sent the company at least six detailed transaction copies as they were detailed in my account. I have emailed specific order numbers many times combined with specific product SKUs. They continue to ask for details when I continue to provide them they are not acknowledged or responded to. We have returned over 300$ worth of merchandise as was recognizedby the second phone call we made. We have also yet to be credited for interest charges. I have a copy of every email sent and response.
We apologize for any frustration our customer has experienced. The call with our customer was reviewed and the questions our associate asked were within our guidelines to complete the processing for the refund. A Kohl's Merchandise Credit has been mailed to the customer today.

TThank you for your swift attention. I know the toys20 code wasn't added as the website instructed-it would not accept it & the screen went all white & an order confirmation immediately came to my email hence I called kohls immediately. I am not the only 1 who had an issue with this promotion but I am glad that mine has now finally been resolved & will be looking forward to the promised adjustment per kohls.

We apologize for the inconvenience our customer has experienced. At this time, we have applied a $59.89 credit directly to our customer's account for order number [redacted] Also, a $5.00 credit was applied directly to our customer's account for the Kohl's Cash applied to this order. Both...
adjustments will show on our customer's next billing statement.
We regret the customer did not receive their Kohls.com order in the anticipated time frame. Due to the time of year Kohl's as well as shipping carriers may experience delays. It is never our intention to inconvenience our customers. We apologize for any additional disappointment.
Our records indicate we received the customer's complaint through a different channel and have addressed their concerns.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] I do not accept the company's response that the item was out of stock because this is not the case. The item was sold to me on 11/26 and took 4 days until it was considered to be "sold out" by the company on 11/30 in an email. This decision took 4 days to make, not because the item was out of stock, but because Kohl's had no intention to sell it to me. The item was available for sale less than 24 hours after my cancellation for being "sold out." My cancellation was at 11:10PM on 11/30 and them item was in stock before 4:22 PM the next day as previously attached to this complaint. For all I know the item was available for sale at 12:00AM on 12/1, as I checked their site as soon as I returned from work and opened the cancellation email. It is not fathomable that it takes Kohl's 98 hours to recognize that the item is out of stock that it sold me, but then it has the item available in wholesale quantities 17 hours later. Kohl's knew that it had the item in stock for 12/1 at the time that it sent me the cancellation email. It was dishonest to claim the item is out of stock when it is preparing the new increased price at that very moment. The item has not been sold out at any point between 11/26 and today, but instead the company wished to sell it for higher price than agreed upon. It is not acceptable that the item is listed for sale for $199.99 and sold to me at that price and then cancelled simply so it can be sold for a markup. The stock magically available from the company on 12/1 should be used to fulfill my order that was cancelled on 11/30 at 11:10PM. This is because the stock from 12/1 is the stock of cancelled orders.

We
apologize for the disappointment. Our records indicate that both packages in
this order have been delivered, via USPS. However, as a courtesy, on December
13, we credited $11.75 to the VISA card ending in 1440 which will post in an
average of seven days.
We stand behind our previous response. Please close this claim out.
We can confirm the refund was processed on January 8, 2015. We ask the customer allow an average of seven days to see the refund on his end and 10 business days to receive the Kohl's Merchandise Credit.

The refund was for the incorrect value. Kohl's did not honor the price of my original order and in turn have charged me over $30 more than I should have been charged. According to my records Kohl's still owes me $37.79. I would like this issue fully resolved. Thank you.

We
apologize for the frustration. We verified the Kohls.com order ending in 6488
was lost in transit. As such, on January 8, we credited the full order in the
amount of $146.63, which will be issued on a Kohl's Merchandise Credit (KMC)
and will be delivered, via mail, in 7-14 business days. Blue...
Kohl’s Cash in the
amount of $39.99 was also issued, via email, with a redemption period of 30
days. Finally, we issued 600 Yes2You (Y2Y) Reward points, which accumulates to
a $30.00 reward, in compensation for the lost Kohl's Cash earned on this order
and subsequently redeemed on an in store purchase. Please know this will be
sent, via email, on February 1 and will be redeemable through February 28.
