The Case Number provided by the MS tech is ***After leaving my computer at the Willow Brook store in Wayne NJ, it was determined that Windows cannot operate on my Dell LaptopTechs restored it back to Windows In doing so, several software and programs were removed including my virus protectionI had to go back to my local company, Telstar Computers and have them reinstall the lost virus softwareThis cost me $for a new virus software license any my timeI can provide receipts for this upon requestI also spent my own gas and time driving to a store (two 2-way trips for a total of miles)In total, I was without the use of my computer for nearly a month and half due to MS automatic scheduled upgrades from Windows to Windows This virtually rendered my computer uselessI had to spend hours of my own personal time to try and get in touch with MS supportMS support is very difficult to get in touch with and literally takes over an hour at times to reach a person, just to get transferred around and then the call gets disconnected
I would like to be reimbursed for the expense of the virus software and for the miles I spent driving to bring this computer into MS store for repairs ($for virus software and $for driving miles - please note IRS current business expense for reimbursement for mileage is $/ mile)Additionally I would like to be compensated due to loss of use of my machine for 1-1/months due to MS unjustified and unauthorized upgrade which damaged my computerThis is a terrible thing Microsoft has done and I am a victimI still have many more hours of re-downloading software and getting my computer back to the state it was in prior to Microsoft destroying it

The company does not intend to settle the complaint by refunding my paid funds of $149.00. Just bad business practice of prolonging settlement. I am rejecting this response because:
Even though I was on a renewing subscription, microsoft continued to charge me for xbox live after the initial year, even though my play time had expired and microsoft was unable to charge the credit card which was associated with my account because it had expiredWhat is the limit to these charges? it could have gone on for years and I would not have knownI assumed I would stop being charged if my credit card was not active, not continue to wrack up a bill for a service I was not using
When I paid for another year, microsoft charged me for weeks after my credit card had expired when I was not using the serviceThis is unacceptableAn acceptable resolution is to credit me for the full year that I paid for or refund the entire transaction
I have been an avid mirosoft fan, purchasing a surface on launch day, a microsoft phone, and holding stock with the companyThis experience has led me to rethink my relationship with microsoft.

I am rejecting this response because:I am very disappointed in the overall performance in your products and I am even more disappointed with Microsoft not fixing a problem with their product because it shows that they do not care about their products and is not willing to fix common issues with your productsThis just looks bad for Microsoft due to the fact that they don't believe in the functionality of their products and is not willing to fix the problemI am still looking for a new tablet in order to complete the typed portion of my summer assignment before August 15thIf I do not recieve a new tablet, I will cease patronizing you and I will switch over to Dell

I have contacted Microsoft Support on numerous occasions and have been very unsuccessful in getting the help or resolution to this ongoing issue.I have even gone as far as going into the forums on xbox.com to ask for help from support on the site with this issue and stay nothing.I would greatly appreciate this matter be looked into further and hopefully resolved in a satisfactory and successful manner
