Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Two days ago a man called with a thick accent I presume to be from India. I could not understand him and, initially thought it was a sales call of some sort and I hung up. Yesterday I got an e-mail from "[redacted]" and the summation of the situation is they do not reimburse customers even though their representatives could not fix the problem remotely and told me it was the hard drive that was effected. [redacted] offered a $50.00 "gift" card to use with Microsoft. Given the customer service I have gotten with this situation I declined the card and he said the case is closed!!! I was told by a Microsoft employee in the area that I would not get any reimbursement. I think the public should know this policy before buying any of the products or services. In my business position, I can warn clients about this situation before they buy products or services. I will do that. Thank you for your interest and follow up.Sincerely,[redacted]

You got his phone number from some list and your people think they can get over on elderly people to make a sale, as if something is wrong with his computer. I am rejecting this response because: Microsoft has stolen 2,000 dollars and countless hours of my time in the form of selling me a defective product, giving me a defective replacement, avoiding and dodging my complaints, refusing to guarantee me a new device, and refusing to give me a refund. I want a brand new Surface Book waiting for me as soon as I get back to the United States or I am filing a lawsuit. This is my third attempt, and I get the same "sorry company policy" rhetoric. This corporation needs to be accountable for their mistakes, not brush them under the rug, dragging me along and wasting my time and money. I already will never buy another Microsoft product ever again, but I don't have another 2,000 to go buy another computer. I want my money, and I want it now. I want a refund or new device. No exceptions.

Skype-to-Skype calls are free. It doesn't matter where you are in the world, or where the person you're calling is. It doesn't even matter if you're using Skype on a computer, a mobile or your TV. As long as you're both using Skype, the call is completely free.
You can make Skype-to-Skype calls using video or just voice - it's up to you. Make a voice call with up to 25 people at once and that's free too (as long as everyone's on Skype). If you want to have a video call with more than two people, that's free too.
You can call someone on their mobile or landline from Skype. It doesn't matter where you are in the world: if you're signed in to Skype, you can call anyone, anywhere at low per minute rates. The price you pay depends on the country you're calling to, not the country you're calling from.
Pay as you go using Skype Credit - check out our rates on skype.com. Or buy a monthly subscription to a particular country or region.
Unfortunately the email address provided isn't linked to any Skype account. Please kindly provide me with the Skype account name or names in question and I will gladly look into this.

Please refund the (2) $10 and cancel our skype accounts as we find it scary 1) It didn't work as Skype said it would FREE (see minutes deducted even though calls were only through Skype). 2) there is no way to contact them 3) Although responder was very nice the response seemed like a form letter & gave information we already included in complaint.

Thank you for your reply.
Upon checking our records I see that from the Skype account "[redacted]" are made 4 calls to the US mobile number XXXXXXXXXX and therefore it was necessary to have Skype Credit.
If you wish us to look into this in more detail, please kindly let me know the operating systems and devices you were using for the call and I will look into this.
I was able to locate the Order XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX and have issued a goodwill refund. Funds will be returned to the PayPal account.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to find the second order. If you have the Skype account name or the Skype order number, I could look into this as well.
