Upon review, the order was cancelled due to the item being out of stock. The customer spoke with our Customer Service Department who credited the customer's Rewards account to receive a $30 certificate as a replacement for the loss of her Kohl's Cash. If the customer would like to place a new order,...
we are happy to credit the $30.00 to the new order and cancel the certificate.

Feel free to close this file, but I will not accept the business's unethical practices and customer relations. A consumer should not have to spend nearly 5 months fighting for a refund for returns mailed back to return center. I want this noted as a complaint against the business
We have agreed to apply a $20.00 credit to our customer's Kohl's Charge ending in 3355. Please advise our customer to please allow 3-5 business days for it to process.
At this time we are requesting the customer attach a copy of their return receipt for further research.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am not sure what to believe at this point, the response states the refund cards was mailed on 08/01 but then closes with they are in need of an address to send the replacement gift cards to. I need someone to contact me ASAP so that I can get a clear understanding as to what took place and how to prevent this from happening in the future. There are many different addresses on the order, (one billing and the other where the order is being shipped to) so what address did they send it to on 08/01/16 as they have indicated. Every time I call the fraud department at 1 [redacted] I speak with a representative who immediately transfers me to the "executive office" which only gives the option to leave a voicemail and I have left several messages but no callback received. No one has reached out and called me, nor tried to process the order because those items is what I wanted. I would not be asking for a refund if the after the investigation was complete the order would have just been re-processed and expedited shipping.

We suggest the customer contacts their bank to see if they will accept a release of funds form from Kohl's for the dollar amount on hold. Not all banks will accept the form. If the bank agrees to accept the form, our customer would need to provide the banks fax number for us to send the form, and the full gift card number. If the bank does not agree to accept the release of funds form, the authorization hold will drop off within 30 days (we have no control over the time limit, this is set by the bank) and the funds will go back on the gift card. We have processed a refund for our customer on December 31, 2016 and we emailed $52.66 to our customer and applied $16.50 to the Visa ending in 5329.

I received a email from the Westminster, MD kohls 5 days ago and gave bryan stoops a phone call in reguards on the situation. His email and phone response let me know he will be sending me a $50.00 gift card in replacement. Its a nice offer for the cirumstances and hope to receive it soon. If received, I do appreciate the quick action they took to replace the loss I went through.
