Im a Agent in Maryland, and I must say this was probably the smoothest transaction I have done in my year and a half of being a real estate agent out of over 40 units Sold. this one was very smooth. I have read the bad reviews but mines is a good one. I believe if you do your part as an agent in finding a lovely renovated house, provide a great detailed CMA. you wont have a problem getting a good offer. This was my 1st deal with Home Partners. Im Aiming to close at least 19 More with in the next 12 months with Home Partners

I had a couple credit issues and tired of waiting to buy a home. HPA gave me a great option where I had the power of cash to purchase a home while I work on my credit. we will rent to own and I should be ready in 5 months or so. The process is so smooth and clear cut its almost unreal. Not much verbal contact but email contact is concise. Highly recommend this option!!!

I’ve read several complaints and positive reviews regarding HomePartners. Maybe I missed a few, but it seemed that the complaints all came from people selling their houses to HP. Getting lowballed and such. Last I checked, that’s how this business works. Each half of the equation trying to get the best deal possible.
Further disclosure, I am NOT an employee of HP, a agent who works with them; I don’t work for anyone. I’m a retired army combat veteran, with moderate PTSD. That said, I loathe BS. When there was a lack of communication between me, my agent and HP, I lit into HP. They apologized for the confusion and immediately rectified the issue.
I’m sure there are other companies and programs available, but HP and my agent were a great team.

The worst experience of our lives! Go any homeownership route but through Home Partners. When we turned the keys and entered our new $500K+ home, we were met with filth, grime, electrical problems, multiple water leaks, broken in doors, broken windows, and so much more. There’s no way Home Partners had the property inspected. Or cares about its customers. Two weeks later, we are still struggling to get a real person on the phone or someone from Home Partners to give us an update on repairs, confirm repairs are being made, or even that they’ve received our messages that the home in its current state is not okay to live in.
