Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.It was the employee of the business that caused the damage to the set.  It is easy for them to deny culpability when they are the at fault party.  I still contend and it is a fact the unit was not functional when originally purchased and that was why I was directed to bring it back.  The original salesman ([redacted]) directed me to return the unit with his manager's approval, the HH Gregg Employees unloaded the set, and THEY caused the damage.  Once they realized they caused the damage, they immediately denied involvement even though it was only them who handled the set.  The set was NEVER inspected in the store prior to me taking possession so as far as I know it could have been damaged from the warehouse PRIOR to me purchasing the set.  If they can't verify the set was working, how can they insinuate I caused the damage?  Why did their representative direct me to return the unit?  The store reply was the typical I have grown to expect from this company.  If you look at their Facebook page you will see a great many complaints similar in nature and the answer from HH Gregg is exactly the same - they are simply placating the customer until they grow weary of the fight and eventually succumb to the back and forth and call it quits.  I do not feel this issue is resolved and no, I don't want their list of authorized service centers.  To resolve this complaint I would like the set replaced as the original salesman and manager stated they would.  When HH Gregg honors the obligations made by their management team I will consider the matter settled.  Until that time, I request this complaint remain open.Regards,[redacted]

In the interest of good customer relations, we can offer to sell him a new television at cost, which is a discounted price. If he would like to take advantage of this offer, we request that he take this letter to the store management and make the purchase within the next 30 days. Please note that some upcoming holiday sale prices may be at or below our cost.

Moreover hh Gregg gave me a piece of paper saying they paid me $170 in Oct 2014 apparently remuneration for the faulty installation. When I asked about this they said the check was cashed. I have no recollection of cashing this nor does our bank have any record of it and they have not provided me proof of this even though I have asked twice.

My incident number [redacted] was automatically closed because the business responded that I would receive a specified amount as a credit within 30 days on their response in the complaint. It has been 30 days since and I have not received a credit. Want the agreed upon credit to be credited like promised in complaint response.

I talked with Fedex as per your request and they have done tracking. They showed it was delivered to a business and I"m a residential home. They also sent the driver back out to try and figure out where it is and they couldn't. Fedex called and left me a message to refund the money or re-ship as they left Stephanie a message as well and I also passed along the information to Stephanie when I spoke with her on the phone two days ago. 
 
So you are postponing me receiving the item that was a Christmas gift to someone or refund the money so I can buy one comparable.
 
The customer service that you have shown is really below par. You have to call a million times and get put on hold each time from 28-40 minutes. Or you don't return the calls as you have stated.
This is my first purchase ever with your company and you are showing me that you aren't staffed properly for holiday seasons.

I never received the Xbox. And have called several times to customer service and they have verified I never received it and I'm yet to get a refund. This is poor customer service And I'm being taken advantage of. How can I pay for a product I never received

Most appliances come with a one-year parts and labor manufacturer's warranty that covers the repair of manufacturer defects. If Ms. [redacted] believes that the dishwasher is not functioning properly, we recommend that she schedule another service call. She may have the option to request that an alternate service provider evaluate any issues she is experiencing.
