any inconvenience Mr. [redacted] encountered. Warrantech was contacted on Mr. [redacted]’s behalf and they have advised that one piece of furniture can be repaired. The chair issue is considered normal wear and tear which is not covered under the warranty. In order to repair the sofa, they need a cause of why the unit stopped reclining in order to schedule service and for the loveseat they are currently waiting on pictures from Mr. [redacted]. Pictures can be emailed to [email protected]. We purchased a Samsung 28 FT French Door refrigerator from HHGregg in Bel Air, MD. It was an open box with a few dings in the door, but we got a GREAT buy. When it arrived I found the fridge door seal was kinked over. I contacted Samsung for Warranty replacement and I included pictures of the seal (and the dings). I asked only to have the seal replaced and stated we knew about the dings prior to purchase. (I was sort of hoping they we just take care of that too!) Quite the opposite, we exchanged 3 emails where they claimed this was physical damage and did not fall under the warranty. I even said, the dings are not but the SEAL? They then called me and with a Korean accent informed me that "Samsung Warranty clearly states any physical damage voids the warranty. The warranty on this refrigerator is void." I am pretty sure they are just saying they wont fix either of these items and there is a language problem, but I can't take the risk.
I returned to HHGregg and the General Manager could not have handled it better. He just said "Well, that is wrong, but please pick another and we will swap them or you can just return it." Of course the one we selected was the LAST GE Profile 28 ft, so it was an open box. They reduced the price to what we paid for the open box Samsung PLUS an extra $200 PLUS free delivery and pick up of the old one.
I checked [redacted] for the exact same model and got a price almost exactly TWICE what we paid (ignoring [redacted]'s $199 delivery), except we added a $300 5 year warranty at HHGregg.
This is my ONE STOP shopping store for Appliance.

The appliance we bought which was a blender was carried out in my husband arms.  Second we advise assistant manager of the price match which was the same corinth sectional in the Great American Homestore in chocolate you have the chocolate and neutral color as well setup in your showroom we purchased the neutral. We should have just went to the other merchant we've done business with them in the past and it was good business. The assistant Manager assisted with overriding pricing but still stiffed us in the end.Where is the policy to advise only a veteran discount can apply if there is no sale because we were not given that information. Disgrace to the front line of defense for our country. You don't ever have to worry about my husband crossing the threshold in this store ever again.I should have done my homework on this store before hand. I see there is no Revdex.com accreditation no wonder it took a month for a reply. Not to mention the store is deceitful and participates in unlawful business practices. Once I tell all my friends and they tell their friends it will spread to NOT DO ANY business with this merchant.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]

Worst experience EVER

"I purchased a dishwasher 1 MONTH ago. After they didn't show up for one installation, called the night before and told me my dishwasher was broken and then PROMISED it would be delivered a week later only to get a phone call the night before cancelling, I knew I had to write a review. Something I have never done before. One department didn't want to deal with it so they transferred me to someone else who I waited on hold for an hour an a half for before eventually hanging up. I called again and asked to be connected directly with the store. I am completely disgusted and have never experienced such a horrible service. I refuse to pay 1 cent for this thing after all of the hassle. I took off work one morning to wait for it and planned to leave early another day because they were supposed to come between 2-5. This is unacceptable and I urge everyone to find another appliance store. Anywhere is better than HHgregg at this point."

While the items have been picked up and returned to the store, I must express my continuing disappointment in the refund issuance.  Initially I was told 3 to 5 days.  On day 7 I called the customer service line and was then told it takes 7 to 10 days for the refund.  Now I am being told it can take 30 days.  This is ridiculous - we aren't talking about at $25 toaster.
