Hello there, we took a look at this complaint and we can see that the movers waited outside of the customer's home for over an hour after the customer reported they would be late. They still did not show and were forced to leave. At this time we are not going to be able to process a refund.

[redacted] was a contracted worker on the Handy platform, and was not a Handy employee. 
Handy does not have a contact number as we have transitioned to an online Help Center as we feel it helps us serve the most customers, most efficiently.

[redacted] to file her taxes will be mailed to the address on file, [redacted].  This will be mailed some time in January, so that she can file taxes as an independent contractor. If there is an updated address you would like to provide, I'd be happy to make the necessary adjustments to your account.

The services are not standarized from pro to pro, I was unable to contact my pro about gaining entry to my house, there is no efficient communication platform beteen the pro and handy or from pro to customer. I a pro and also a customer. I have been very disappointed with the business operations from handy because of these issue. Finally, it is nearly impossible to cancel a cleaning subscription. I still have not figured that out yet. I do not recommend the handy service. If you try them out, I hope your experience is better than mine.

After I bought the products from their partner site : [redacted]  - I was sent two texts from Handy telling me the jobs that I signed up for were cancelled "Please do not go to the job site. THIS COMPANY WANTS PEOPLE TO BUY FROM THEIR PARTNER AFFILIATE "[redacted] -  NEVER HAD ANY HOUSEKEEPING POSITIONS. THEY DID A BAIT AND SWITCH TO ME AND TO OTHERS. I DID NOT CANCEL THE APPOINTMENTS THEY CANCELLED THE APPOINTMENTS AFTER THEY RECEIVED MY MONEY FROM BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS.

I was finally able to reach a person at Handy.com, who reimbursed my credit card. This complaint can be closed out.
 
FYI the support person says that they are aware of all the complaints, and that there are flaws on their website that are causing these issues. I don't find it excusable, but at least its good to know they're trying to resolve the problems at the core.

  Nice.  I never signed up for a recurring appointment intentionally at all so if you sent reminder messages that wouldn't be adequate and besides I didn't get them.

Now that handy is aware that Revdex.com is involved they're trying to just throw everyone money to shut us up. No! Just yesterday I was accused of a no show! I have proof! Then this morning they say I wasn't. The policy, changes every week. Revdex.com please look at and in their app from a pros perspective I can proof every perk and stitch they intentionally set up just a few days ago! Look at the reviews online! Handy steals and accuses people to cover up their stealing. I have witnesses and also know team members who are going to the law and Revdex.com as well. I would physically want to show all of my things to someone. Addressing one bity situation will not cut it because this has to stop with this Handy company and I will go as far as getting a lawyer, and talking the news about this company and how I tried handling them first with the Revdex.com in NY

I have still not received a response from their payment department as to how to make a payment that does not entail leaving my credit card information on their website. I have no reason to believe they have cancelled my account since I still get daily emails that suggest I am still in their database as an active customer. Please see the screen shots I have attached. I have offered to leave my credit card information on the phone and have also offered to send a check which in both cases I was told that there were no capabilities for these types of payment methods. This shouldn't be complicated. I owe $57 for a cleaning service that I will happily pay them for. I am just not updating any account information on their website as I believe it is not secure, and that they do not have the proper staffing to manage these accounts.I've attached screen shots of my daily emails, and have also attached documentation of all of my communications with different staff members.
