we appreciate your feedback. In circumstances like this, we typically need to reach out to the business before issuing a refund. We want to make sure we've done all we can to resolve the issue directly with the business and help you redeem your Groupon as originally intended.  However, given the circumstances, I understand if you'd rather not wait for a resolution, and I want to make this right for you as soon as possible. I've just canceled your purchase and issued a refund of $9.00 to your credit card. Although it can take up to 10 business days for this refund to be reflected on your statement, it should appear much sooner.I’ve provided more specific instructions in my direct email to you. experience you had redeeming these Groupon vouchers. We're always working to make sure every deal is unique, fun, and a great value. I sincerely apologize that we haven't delivered in this case.Regarding your vouchers for [redacted] Skincare and Advanced Therapeutics, there are some cases in which a business may be closed and hence you will not be able to contact them to redeem your vouchers, but fortunately, it doesn't happen too often.After reviewing our history with these businesses, I don't see that we've had any reports of them being not contactable. Before we can issue any refunds, we'll need to reach out to the business so that you can redeem your voucher as originally planned. Also, the business may not be aware that this is a problem, so we want to make sure we've given them the opportunity to make this right. With your first disappointing experience, we wanted to make things right and hence we offered a Trade-in option where you can exchange the voucher for another deal that may interest you. However, we did understand your situation, and we see that you're a loyal Groupon customer and because that was the first time you've contacted us about something like this, we were happy to go ahead and issue the refunds to your card.We hope you find your next Groupon experience to be more enjoyable! I have reviewed your most recent comment and all internal Groupon correspondence, including your correspondence with my colleague [redacted] in ticket [redacted]In this ticket, it was stated:"I am very sorry to see that the Groupon bucks credit we have processed previously is not meeting your expectation.Unfortunately, we aren't able to issue a refund in this situation. I see you stated that [redacted] the owner of this Groupon has contacted Groupon, but if she did, she has not contacted the right department. She must contact her Groupon account manager or go through the merchant system. Based off of what we see in the merchant system, she has not contacted us and her deal is still running.If you're having a hard time getting in touch with the business to use your Groupon, we're happy to help out. It looks like you still have plenty of time to use this Groupon, if you have difficulty using this, I'll be more than happy to have our scheduling team contact the business to help you use your deal for the purchase price.Otherwise, this deal is still trade-in eligible."Unfortunately, under normal circumstances, I would have to reiterate this information and stress the trade-in option that was previously laid out to you.However, since that correspondence, you have filed a dispute with your credit card regarding this purchase. Once this is done, we cannot evaluate, refund, or alter this purchase in any way.
