I had sold my sneakers to GOAT on 08.31.2019 and the package was sent out on the 09.03.2019 VIA UPS, which is GOAT preferred courier service. As per the UPS update, the package was lost during transit. On 09.19.2019 GOAT had filled a claim to UPS which was approved. I been repeatedly following up with GOAT regarding this matter, but I had no response from them till date. I would like you to please seriously look into this matter and help me recover my money because this been pending for almost a month already. I will be attaching all the screen shots regarding order information. email conversation and UPS tracking information.

A new shoes is soiled,box is brokenThey don't return,and didnt compensate. And delivery time beyond their promise.
I bought a shoes at August 14 from GOAT . orde number is XXXXXXXX. firstthey promise the delivery within 14 days, but I wait 24 days. second, when I got shoes, it's soiled and box is scuffed. but before I brought shoes, GOAT app promises it's new. And I sent shoes pictures to them. they admit, and consult solution. I think this matter GOAT should take whole responsibility. they can't let consumers to pay for their own duty. Cause I'm innocent, I just want to return, take my money back. but they didn't agree. I don't know why,the shoes is soiled, why I can't return ? why I must received shoes? they offer $25 for compensation, I won't accept, they must give my money back, and compensate me additional.

Sold a pair of shoes through Goat and sale was confirmed. Shoes sent to warehouse and they cancelled the order without payment to me.
sold shoes through them and sent them as have done so in the past. On the day they received the shoes to their warehouse as confirmed by UPS, they cancelled the order without payment to me. I have been contacting them for over a month to either get payment for my shoes or to have the shoes returned to me. They have not answered me except to say they have escalated my concern to the next level.

Fortunately however, we later received your item(s) at our warehouse and the sneakers were consigned under your GOAT account for sale. Most recently, our records show that these sneakers were resold on 10/8/2019 and your credits for the successful completion of the sale were added to your GOAT account before being transferred to your preferred cash out method. I bought a pair of Jordan 4s from GOAT September 3, 2019. Upon receipt, I noticed there was a large hole in the actual shoe box, scratch on the toe and the Jumpman symbol on the right shoe was scratched. These shoes were purchased brand new.I then reached out to their customer service. Within two days I received a response to supply pictures of my issues. Two days after that the same person told me someone would reach out to me regarding next steps.Well, it's been over a week and no one has responded to any of my emails. They do not list a phone number and not sure what else to do.I am beyond frustrated.

I ordered my sons school sneakers from goat.com,ordered a 9.5 received a box that said size 9 and sneakers sized 8ive ben trying over a week to make contact with this company. they talked to after my first email asking for pics of box and size on shoes.they said I would hear back in at most 48 hours,ive since emailed them several times with no response.

I ordered a pair of shoes on 9/4/19. On 9/12/19 I was told there was a problem with shipping and they never arrived at the GOAT store and that was all. I reached out to the GOAT people on 9/13 but was not given any information, just that they would "escalate the ticket" and someone would get back to me. I have written numerous times since then and no one has written me back. It is now 9/23 and I have heard nothing since 9/13 about where my shoes are or what even is happening.

place this order and the item was stolen or lost upon delivery. The claim was filed with ups which was ruled in my favor as a lost package. I have been in contact with goat since August 29 and they kept telling me the same thing over and over again that they were contacting ups and sending information to their insurance department and it would take 3-5 days and a month later they don't even respond to me and I have yet to receive my refund!!!!

I spoke with my financial institution and they said the refund would have been shot back to you because my account is closed. They wouldn't have accepted the refund back cause there is no account for it to go back to!!!!! So technically no refund is being given to me.
You can contact them yourself to verify! I will not take this loss

On 8/30/19, I sold a pair of shoes through Goat for $190. I immediately shipped the shoes out to Goat and the shoes were delivered/received by Goat on 09/06/19 (according to the UPS tracking, item was received by ***). On 09/10/19, I checked the update on the order and Goat updated the status to "order was delayed because the courier". That doesn't make any sense since Goat already received the shoe on 9/10... I sent numerous emails to Goat in an attempt to find out what is going on with the order and asking where my funds are.... but they have been ignoring my emails. I have sent emails on the following dates: 9/10, 9/12, 9/14, 9/16, 9/17, 9/18, AND 9/23 (2x's)... I have only received ONE response on 9/11 stating that the issue will be escalated and that I will receive a response within 48 hrs. They have been ignoring me since and refuse to send me my money and/or my shoes back. I have proof of my attempts/emails, tracking, account info, etc...

We hope all is well! It seems that the package went missing on its way from you to our warehouse.

Please note that when the courier marks the package as 'delivered' to our warehouse, we will show this status on our app as well. Due to our large inbound volume, packages are not individually scanned and signed for at our facilities. Instead, the courier will bulk scan each drop-off that consists of hundreds of packages under a single 'delivery' scan. Because of this, there are occurrences when packages are missing from their drop-off.

Due to this loss, we have gone ahead and issued a full cash out for your sale. This will be processed by the end of the day.

I purchased a pair of used shoes from goat on Friday August, 9th and was instantly charged from my bank account via apple pay when the transaction occurred. On August 10th I received an email saying that my shoes had been shipped to goat and were awaiting authentication. After that I received no more updates about my order and I sent many emails and almost all of them were automated answers. I didn't hear anything until September 12th when *** from intake and support told me that a claim is being filed and it usually takes 5-10 days to decide on a claim and it is past that window.

None solution about that I requested to return the defets shoes. It has been 7 days.

I spent $300 to buy a pair of shoes on Goat.

I received the order on 13 Sept. But I found some defets on it and I sent an e-mail to tell that I want to return it! Unfortunately,I don't receive any solution.

During these 7 days,I sent them many e-mails. They told me they already submit my issue to their verification team and someone will update it and reply me within 48 hours. But until today, nobody give me any result. When I try to get touch with them through e-mail, there is none reply!

After looking at the provided photos via email, it was determined that the issues described as part of your claim were due to manufacturer inconsistencies in the production process and would regrettably not be considered a defect. We want you to be happy with your order however, so the option to return your items for a GOAT credit to be used towards a replacement sneaker was offered, per our policy. Most recently, we show that your return is In-Transit to GOAT for verification. Once approved, we will follow up with you to confirm that your credit has been issued.

It is also important for us to note that when contacting our support team, we ask that you only send one message at a time. Sending multiple messages will continuously update the timestamp of your original message, ultimately delaying the order in which your request was received and will delay response time. We do apologize for any inconvenience!

I recently purchased *** for over $*** to hold and resell. Investment. They were advertised as brand new shoes no flaws. They came to me with a very obvious stain. When I filed a claim with GOAT they offered to accept the return BUT would only offer goat credit that I could not cash out. No credit back to my credit card. They are basically holding my money hostage and FORCING me to purchase more products on their platform. This is completely unethical and I should not be penalized for their mistake. DO NOT USE GOAT. Bunch of scammers.

They refunded me already cause they lost my shoes, never made it out of there warehouse so no police report to file

Company is not honoring exchange of unused (meaning never even tried on because they did not fit) shoes. Now the company is making up that shoes were used and not returning money even after multiple attempted contacts. Company (GOAT) does not provide accessible contact. Won't even continue corresponding via email, forcing customers to contact them through app which is not user-friendly and impossible to get through.

We purchased a pair of shoes for our son. Two days after receiving them the sole blew out. Company will not stand behind their product.
We purchased a pair of Adidas Ultraboost lace less shoes for our son on August 30 2019, for the amount of $110.00 from Goat. After receiving the shoes, after the second day of wearing them, the sole gave out.

We reached out to the company, sent pictures at their request and heard nothing for almost a week. We received the following response.

Unfortunately, there's not much we can do in terms of a refund or credit as the damage occurred to the sneakers after they had been worn. Our service only guarantees that the sneakers will be 100% authentic and in the condition as described. We do not make the sneakers nor do we test for wearability as we do not try them on during authentication, so any issue with the durability or craftsmanship is not something we have a warranty for, especially after wear.

When I asked them to speak to a manager, I was denied.

In reading other complaints this seems to be a common issue.

At this point they told me our only recourse was to contact the manufacturer directly.

I do not find this acceptable. I reached out to the manufacturer who said I needed to deal with the supplier. I'm now left with a worthless pair of shoes and out $110. I can't believe companies like this are able to stay in business.

GOAT.com refuses to refund after package was stolen. Says buyer is responsible for lost/stolen package. Lied to CreditCard company to avoid chargeback
I purchased a pair of sneakers for $870 from GOAT.com. UPS left the package in front of my gate and it was stolen. on 08/05/2019 I contacted both UPS and GOAT and they both opened investigations/searches on the package. GOAT customer service agent *** requested a signed affidavit, copy of my ID which she stated was needed in order to receive a refund.

08/12/2019 I submitted the requested copies. 08/13/2019 *** responded confirming she received the documents. She stated she escalated my ticket and I would receive a response within 48 hours. I did not receive a response within 48 hours. On 08/20/2019 I received a response from GOAT support agent *** He stated in order for me to receive a refund I would need to submit a police report to their insurance company. On 08/30/2019 I submitted a SFPD police report. 09/03/2019 I received a response from *** stating I needed to follow up with them in 14 days.

They also stated *Please note: We will not follow up with you in regards to your missing order, as you are responsible for your own purchase. If you do not follow up for the investigation results within 30 days, it will be assumed your order was successfully delivered and we will not issue a reimbursement.*

No where on their website does it state this. On 09/04/2019 I contacted my credit card company and filed a complaint. GOAT replied to my credit card company stating they did not receive a copy of the police report I have it in writing that they confirmed that they received it.

Please know that when filing for a missing package, both a claim with the insurance/shipping companies and investigation with your local law enforcement offices may be required. According to our records however, your original claim was denied by the shipping courier so a dispute was later initiated on your behalf. At this time, we are still awaiting the results upon providing the additional required paperwork to the shipping courier. Please do note that we ask for you to follow up after the quoted timeframe so we are notified that you have still not successfully received your package as lost packages are often recovered during an investigation process. I contacted UPS directly on 09/20/2019. They stated the exact opposite. Your customer never followed up with them and they closed the claim. When I called they reopened the claim at my request. 08/06/2019 you requested a copy of my ID , signed affidavit and police report for the stolen package that according to your customer service agents *** was required by your insurance company. She stated there was an insurance claim opened on my case. Both *** and customer service agent *** confirmed they received the requested documents. The transcript from the customer service conversation are included in this complaint. Where is the claim number for my insurance claim? Why did you open an insurance claim and a UPS claim? Why did you notify my credit card company that you never received a copy of the police report? It appears you guys are attempting to open multiple insurance claims in my name with no intention of refunding me. In addition to the Revdex.com complaint filed a insurance fraud complaint with the FTC. I requested customer service agent *** provide his full name for the complaint and he has refused. Please provide customer service agent *** full name. I've also attached a copy of the letter I received from my credit card company stating you did not receive a copy of the police report. Please confirm.

There is no open dispute with my credit card company. The dispute was closed 08/28/2019 . It was closed because GOAT.com lied stating they never received a police report from me. Yet according to customer service agent "" they wouldn't have been able to file an insurance claim without a police report. I also attached a copy of the report to this complaint. They have now admitted to collecting on multiple insurance claims and are refusing to refund me. I've also attached a copy of the conversation I had with customer service agent "***" on 10/24/209. He stated I should receive a refund by 11/04/2019.

I recently sold a pair of 1985 air jordan 1 Chicago sz 9. They were delivered to Goat which tracking confirms. It was in the authentication process for 3 days and then all of a sudden they mysteriously disappeared. Now goat is saying that it is a delay in shipping and this is clearly a lie because there customer service told me in an email that they were in fact delivered and awaiting authentication. It has been about two weeks and they will not resolve the issue, so now I'm out the shoes and 628 dollars which is the sale price. I have lots of snap shots for proof if need be. Thank you

After 2months of attempt they finally given my money back

Received wrong shoes and want full amount credited back to AMEX.
Ordered shoes on Aug 25 and paid $110. Received wrong size. Sent requested pics of shoes to receive RT shpg label. Ordered new shoes. Received $77 site credit. Was company error, so I should receive entire $110 back to my Amex, not a site credit since they didn't use that credit for the new shows I ordered from site. Order #XXXXXXXX. With all of the similar complaints lodged with Revdex.com, why is this company still operating?

I sold an item on this site. The company is holding my property, they refuse to pay me for it and will not return it. I have tried to contact them.
GOAT is a marketplace for selling limited edition products, such as rare shoes and clothes. GOAT is the
middleman in the process, the seller ships the product to them, they authenticate and then forward to the buyer.
In this case, I am the seller.
On August 23, I sold a Arizona x Continental 80 'Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey' shoe size 6.5 on GOAT
for $600.
GOAT received this shoe from me on August 27. Two days after this, I received an email from GOAT stating
that my shoe was declined because the SHOE BOX has a label that says 'sample' on it. Only about 300 pairs of
this shoe were manufactured, and most of the boxes have this label on it. This label does not indicate that the
shoe is not authentic. In comparison, most shoes have MILLIONS of pairs produced... this had only 300 pairs
produced.
At this point, I have made numerous, numerous attempts to contact their customer service. The only response I
received from the company was on Aug 31st that stated they will contact me within 24 hours. As of September
13, I have not received any response. I sent follow up emails, and received no response to those as well.
I then attempted to contact their consumer complaint division and stated that in 5 days I intend on contacting
consumer protection agencies such as the Attorney General, Revdex.com, FTC, etc.
It has been 5 days since then. I have received absolutely no response from GOAT regarding my issue. GOAT
currently has my property and has not released the payment for it.

Desired Outcome

GOAT has held my property for the past 18 days and refused to resolve the issue. I would like to be reimbursed the value of the shoe or have it returned to me immediately. The value of this shoe has since then increased. There is only 1 other site that has it available, StockX, and that has it for $750.

Please note that when listing your sneakers on GOAT, we use the SKU to correctly identify that the sold shoe matches with the buyer's purchase upon verification. While the SKU for the sneaker you listed (***) was similar to the SAMPLE pair you shipped to us, the correct SKU for these item(s) was regrettably (*** S). In this case, the 'S' was important in indicating to the buyer that the shoe was a 'Sample' pair and may differ than the original model. Because of this, your sale unfortunately did not pass verification, and the option to relist the sneaker using the correct SKU under consignment was elected.
