I ordered a pair of shoes from GOAT on 10/24/2019. I received the shoes on 10/30 and they were the wrong shoes.
I received the wrong shoes (*** XXXXXXXXX) and immediately contacted GOAT. It took until 11/6 for them to reply to me. They said my original form of payment would be credited for the full amount and I was to return the wrong shoes back to them. On 11/12 I was issued a store credit of $124.83. The original purchase amount was $150.00. I do not wish to have a store credit, I want the original form of payment credited as I was promised for the full amount as none of this was my fault.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund to original method of payment (Afterpay) in the full amount of $150.00 and not a store credit.

GOAT is a misleading website or business that potential buyers should avoid at all cost. I tried twice to buy Nike basketball shoes, only to have GOAT email me that the seller had canceled the order. That's TWICE that I exposed my credit card info to sellers of unknown reputation and unknown location. It's possible that GOAT could be a front for fraud and cybercrime. Who can know? Kids need to understand how dangerous the world is.

The worst company you can order from!! Do not waste your time or your money! I received a pair of shoes that were too big for me I literally tried them on realized they were too big and put them back in the box to be returned for a smaller size. Well the next day when GOAT received them they tried to say they were worn and had their "specialist" take a look at it. Which was the BIGGEST LIE they could tell because I only tried them on in the house. I would've gladly accepted another size but they won't even offer that saying they were worn! This is website is a SCAM DO NOT order anything from them!

I ordered a pair of shoes & was not sent the shoes I ordered. I have been in email contact with customer support, but they are now not responding me.
On 10/25/19 I ordered the Nike Air Force 1 x Uninterrupted size 9.5 shoes, these are white with blue accents. I received a confirmation email with order #*** & the correct picture of the shoe & order details, cost of $161.63. I then was delivered a completely different shoe. I was received the plain Nike Air Force 1, plain white. This was not the collaboration show with Uninterrupted that I ordered. I emailed customer support & included the requested pictures of the shoe that I received, along with the label on the shoe box which clearly shows I was sent something other than what I ordered & paid for. The company claims that they preauthenticate all items before shipping to customers. If this is the case, I am unsure how they sent me something I did not order or pay for. I have emailed back & forth with their customer support & was told the email with pictures was escalated to the team. I was told I would hear something within 48hrs of that email being sent to me on 11/4/19, if I did not, I was to respond to that email. Since yesterday, I have sent 3 emails to them as they have not responded back to me. I cannot find any phone number to try & reach them that way. I have already reordered the correct shoe & would like a refund on the incorrect shoes they have sent me. I am including a picture of the email I was sent confirming the shoe I ordered. I also have all email correspondence & pictures of the incorrect shoe I was sent. I am unable to include more than one photo with the option below but if needed can provide them.

Desired Outcome

I want the receive the correct shoe or a refund. At this point I have already reordered through them the shoe I ordered originally & am currently awaiting delivery on that today. I would like them to refund me the cost of the shoes & send the appropriate one.

I ordered a pair of shoes and tried them on, but they didn't fit. I was denied a refund/store credit because they said the shoes were now "used".
I just want the chance to have the $200 store credit that was mentioned to me in the attached PDF.

I tried on the shoes and walked around the house to see if they fit.

GOAT sent images that supposedly showed they were used but they still looked BRAND NEW.

Trying on a shoe to see if it fits should not constitute a "used shoe".

How else am I supposed to know if they fit or not?

Further, they say that I can consign the shoes for the same price I paid for the shoes.

So this means the shoes are in good enough condition to be re-sold, for the same price I purchased them for, but not for me to get a store credit?

That doesn't make sense and is bad business practice.

This is my first time using GOAT's service and the options they gave me are not satisfactory and they are ripping off their customers. Right now the shoes are sitting in a warehouse and I haven't gotten my money back. So GOAT is in possession of BOTH my shoes and my money.

I can't imagine i'm the only person this has happened to.

I just want my money back. GOAT still has the shoes that I ordered/returned, so they have the shoes, just give me back my money.

Our return policy explicitly states that "item(s) must be in the condition they were in when sent by us, including but not limited to: no damage, original tags, no creases as a result of try-on and/or wear, no sole wear or debris (for sneaker items), and all original packaging included" to be eligible for return. Unfortunately however, after receiving your return item(s), our verification team noted your sneakers to show signs of wear which voided this return per our return policy and within our verification standards. I have ordered shoes from GOAT twice and have received wrong pairs both times, GOAT won't send me my original or exchange for a same pair of shoes.
I have ordered shoes from GOAT twice and have recieved the wrong pair both times, I explained to GOAT that I appreciate the refund but would like an exchange for the original paid I ordered as they are high in value. By the time I get my refund they have gone up in price, I'm afraid GOAT is sending the wrong shoes to people to scam them so they keep shoes for higher value and can resell them for a higher price.

I paid 500 dollars for a pair of Adidas Yeezy sneaker from the Kanye West line. They sent me fake sneakers.
When I opened the sneakers and looked them over there were many issues were you could tell they were replicas. I took pictures and opened a complaint ticket with GOAT. I sent the pictures and exactly what was wrong so they could see that the sneakers were in fact not authentic. Someone emailed me that they were going to get back to me within 48 hours. I never heard back. I emailed them again asking why I had not been contacted and have yet to receive a response. I paid 500 dollars for an authentic pair of sneakers. If I wanted a replica I would have paid 20 for them in china. I would like a refund or an authentic pair sent to me.

Beyond frustrated with GOAT. I sold a pair of shoe with GOAT. After I shipped my brand new pair of SpongeBob SquarePants shoes, Size 7. shoes, they said they made a mistake with the sizing and had to reimburse the buyer. Hence, I never received my proceeds from the shoes...

They provided 2 options: Option A: Consign the sneakers with us ; Option B Have the sneakers shipped back to me for $9.01. I requested to have the shoes shipped back on the November 2nd and to date I'm still awaiting a response. If I don't have my shoes back in my possession by the end of the weeks, I am taking them to small claims court.

Goat sent me the wrong shoes and will not give me a refund.

I ordered shoes on goat's app for $330 and paid $25 extra for two day shipping. Two days later a box is delivered with what I thought was my order. Imagine my surprise when it is actually a completely different pair of shoes ( different brand, size, everything). Also the shoes that were sent are less valuable than the ones I ordered. I email (since that's the only form Of communication) get a response it will be expedited says I should have a response in 2 days. It is Friday so on Tuesday when there is still no response I reach out again. A response comes asking for pictures. I respond with pictures immediately. Nothing else for two more days. I reach out Friday morning, and get a response with a shipping label to return the incorrect shoes. Message also states about a 12 business day wait for them to verify my return. Goat sent the wrong shoes they should expedite this process to ensure they have righted their wrong. The rep says it has to go in order of the returns that are received. I would be fine with that if this was an issue of me not being happy with a purchase but the issue is that Goat has not sent me what I ordered. They should make me whole.

I filed a claim with my bank as I had no confidence in GOAT refunding my money. At this point my bank has given me a temporary credit but I think GOAT should give me my refund as they are the company that owes me (not my bank). Once GOAT refunds my money as they promised in an email, I can then reimburse my bank for the temporary credit they provided. GOAT pressed me to send the shoes back which I hesitated as that was my only leverage. I was promised I would get a refund when the shoes were received. I think GOAT acted in bad faith (lied) to get me to send their shoes back. GOAT was aware of the claim before I sent the shoes back and still promised that I would be refunded. This is a fraudulent company and should not be trusted at all.

Goat charged my c/c $80 for sneakers I never made an offer on.
On Nov 1, 2019. Goat charged my Visa c/c $80 for sneakers I never once many an offer on. I received a text out of no where stating my offer was accepted and I'm being charge $80. I immediately look at their app that was I downloaded to my phone a couple days before. I saw 0 proof of such any offer and I did not receive any emails stating these so called offers that they claim I made on the Christmas Kyrie Irving sneakers. I try to contact them & they don't even have a customer service number. I send a ticket and I got one reply Nov 2, 2019 stating what I just said above. When I try to reply to this ticket it has been closed by GOAT without my reply. This company illegal and they took money out of my c/c without my permission. They claim I had time to confirm this illegal purchase but not such thing happened. I I received 0 text or email before this money was taken out of my c/c. I only received one text from my goat app saying that an offer was accepted and I was being charged $80. I want my money back and I want everyone to know about this scam. I can't even speak with a human being & I called my bank to stop anything being withdrawn from my c/c from this company and I was told to call my bank back Tuesday to put a fraud claim in to get I money back an I will. I just won't to report them to you so everyone knows they are a scam

I want my money refunded to me. I didn't not make any offer on the sneakers and they were not authorized by me to charge my c/c $80 for this illegal purchase. They need to improve their app and they need a customer service telephonehone line. They should be shut down in the can return people there money.

We see when notified that this offer was placed on your account without authorization however, we went ahead and refunded your order in full to your original payment method due to possible fraudulent activity.

This company charges for expedited shipping and then provides invalid order numbers and no order status or method of contacting them to resolve it.
Here is their automated support response below. They provide no order status or followup and no way of contacting them to cancel, change, or follow up on orders not shipped out. I may have lost my money so please force them to close their business so I don't need to sue them personally and they don't continue to operate in the US with consistently and routinely fraudulent business practices. I will do everything I can to assist you as a lead plaintiff in establishing their theft.

They don't respond timely even to email inquiries and not even within the 48 hours they promise in their automated Generic response they send on every order placed with them.

We are sorry to hear there was a confusion with our "Instant Ship" service. Please know as a marketplace, GOAT sellers list their sneakers for sale while buyers peruse over *** sneakers on our website, iPhone and Android apps. If you make a purchase, sellers are required to ship their sneakers to us for verification first and once they're authenticated, we'll ship them to you. If we find they are replicas or they are not as described, we'll notify you and offer a full refund.

Since all sneakers come to us for authentication first however, it typically takes 7-10 business days (M-F) for orders to get to our domestic customers. It takes 3-4 days to get to us, 1-2 days to authenticate and 3-4 days to ship to you. Please note however that when you select our 'Instant Ship' service, this means we shipped out a pre-verified shoe from our warehouse without waiting for it be received by a seller. So while you are saving the 3-4 days time required of the seller to first ship to GOAT, 'Instant Ship' is not 'Expedited Shipping' and it still takes 3-4 days to be received once shipped from GOAT.

On 10/13/19 I purchased a pair of shoes, which I still haven't received. I have made several complaints to their customer service team and nothing.
On 10/13/19 I ordered a pair of the Jordan 1 Off-White Chicago for $***, order #XXXXXXXXX. They claim they still have not received the shoes to authenticate them, because apparently they had an issue with the deliverynot sure if the package was lost.

Desired Outcome

I have reached out to their customer reps and they keep giving me the run around. I told them to send me one of the shoes from their warehouse (GOAT has these shoes in stock as part of their INSTANT SHIP program) and they just avoided the question. I have also asked them to give me a refund and they still have not responded. If they lost the package the seller sent them for authentication, that is not my problem, and they should either give me a refund or send me one of the pairs they have available.

I did receive a full refund, however, it wasn't without me putting a whole lot of work to get it; I had to emailed them countless times (they ignored me every single time), I filed this Revdex.com complaint, and I filed a dispute with my credit card company. All in all, they made me fight to get a refund, so don't pat yourselves on the back for that because it was my own effort that got me the refund, and I was going to get it one way or another.
GOAT is a company full of incompetent service agents and if they continue running their business the same way, I don't see them being around for long.

I recently sold my used pair of yeezy v2 blacks to someone on goat. The pair sold the same day I sold a pair of yeezy clays so I packed both up and took them to the post office together in separate boxes with corresponding preprinted labels. Both took a few days to arrive and I got confirmation my v2 clay Yeezys were authenticated and I received my money but did not hear about my v2 blacks for another day when I received an email stating that they had received an empty box cardboard box (not a shoe box just a shipping box). They then on the app resolved the order without my response and didn't pay out. I am a trusted seller with goat and have ordered 6 pairs of shoes and sold 6 pairs. I would like goat to issue me my payout and review employee videos because I believe one of their employees is stealing these shoes.

I bought shoes... They charged my card... Later they canceled the order... Now I wait for a refund??? What a racket!

I ordered a pair of air Jordon sneakers certified new in a good condition box. The box was worn and broken and the shoes had a smudge on the bottom. I returned them but first took photos of the broken box and submitted the return claim as instructed. I sent them back and was told I broke the box and they refuse to give me back my money in the form of a credit. The only thing they offered was to send back the original shoes if I paid $16 shipping. They shoes are too small and it was my intention to exchange them for a bigger size but they wont answer my emails. I am only given the choice to let them sell them for my on consignment or have them returned. I can't get anyone to answer my emails or answer the phone call.

I got my money back

I should have read the reviews before making my purchase. I will never again be a GOAT customer due to their ridiculous return policy. I specifically made sure the shoes I bought could be returned before I purchased them. When I received them, I tried them on and wore them around my kitchen. They were too tight so I sent them back. They were sent back in the original box within days. Then I got a an email saying that my return had been denied because they were worn. They sent along pictures showing that the laces were undone and their was a small amount of dust on the bottom from my shoes from my floor. So ridiculous! They explained that I had not returned them in the condition they were purchased. Give me a break! NEVER again will I buy from them.

I was guaranteed that the shoes were going to be 100% authentic but when I received them and compared them to the one in the store there were a few noticeable differences that there is no was that they are real. I've been emailing with customer support and when I told them the issue and they said they would look into it it took them a week to contact me back about it and I did email them everyday inquiring about they, which they just seemed to ignore. The last email I got from them was them sending me an address to send the shoes back because I don't want to keep the fake shoes and they did not mention me getting refunded for sending them back. but now they are being so unfriendly and so unhelpful because I don't want to keep the fake shoes and want a full refund.

A delivery was shipped to me and erroneously was listed as delivered on 9/26 by UPS. GOAT CX is charging me to reship it despite the carrier fault.
Regarding order XXXXXXXX:

The package was listed as delivered by UPS on 9/26. I was there at the time of delivery and no package was found. I filed a claim with UPS letting them know that it had not delivered and that I had moved. On October 14th - UPS found the package and tried to redeliver to the old address despite my updated info they had on file. It was then returned to sender. When GOAT CX got the package back - they told me I would be responsible for the $20 to ship back or deduct from a refund. I explained the situation and asked for this to be waived because the carrier made the mistake not I. The representative I emailed with ignored my context and said that because it returned to sender it was my fault and thus was responsible. I asked to speak to a manager at this point and was told that within 48 hours I would. Instead - 48 hours later I got another representative who copied and pasted the exact same information. I then copied and pasted tracking info + conversation transcript to explain why the rep was wrong and why I was frustrated. It has been over 72 hours and I have not gotten a response since.

I am seeking to be refunded the full amount I paid - not an amount deducted by $20. It's honestly the least that can be done at this point for a terrible service experience. Neither representative I spoke has followed through in any meaningful human interaction. Even if the representative truly could not entertain my request, they could at least have the decency to acknowledge what I was saying.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for any confusion. We've checked on the tracking for this shipment and see that the original delivery was attempted on 9/24/2019. Since the package was not returned to sender until 10/14/2019, more than 2 weeks later, the responsibility for failure to retrieve your package from the courier regrettably falls on the recipient. As such, when GOAT received this package back - the cost of shipping would be required in order to ship once more.

Please also note that for your security and per our policy, we are unable to change your shipping address after completion. Thus, the option of GOAT Storage was offered so that you may authorize a shipment to a different address at checkout. Most recently however, our records show that instead a refund, less the cost of shipping, was issued within our Return Policy to your original form of payment at your request. If you have any other questions or concerns at this time, please don't hesitate to contact our support team directly.

Told to wait 14 days for investigation results, no responses 25 days later, request of checking on previous investigation status were ignored.
I bought a pair of shoes on 09/23/2019 and never received it. Contacted GOAT's customer service on Scheduled deliver date of 09/28/2019. GOAT responded that they have started missing package claim with their insurance company and an affidavit was required for me to fill out. I have completed the affidavit and attached my identification with it on 10/1/2019, GOAT responded that they have escalated the ticket and a member of their team will follow up with me, 2 days later GOAT replied said that the affidavit has already been forwarded to the insurance company for review and it's going to take up to 14 days. Contacted GOAT after 14 days but the ticket status has been changed to resolved and there's no way to communicate other than opening a new ticket.
The first ticket send on 10/20/2019 asking for checking the status, and the request was ignored. The second ticket was send on 10/22/2019 asking for checking the status, the team member replied EXACTLY THE SAME MESSAGE AS the original ticket asking for filling out an affidavit, I INSISTED that they have misunderstood the situation and I HAVE ALREADY FILLED IT OUT AND WAITED 14 DAYS, I NEED TO CHECK THE STATUS AS NO RESPONSES WERE GIVEN. The Customer Service representative ignored my request and continue to responded the SAME EXACT MESSAGE that they have forward the affidavit to the insurance company and I will contacted by them within 48 hours. STARTING from this point it seems those representatives NEVER read what you said and only proceed to send you those pre-written message over and over again that is UNRELATED to your situation. I STILL WAITED 72 HOURS AND THERE WAS NO RESPONSE GIVEN.
On 10/27/2019 The first ticket that went ignored was replied with the EXACTLY SAME MESSAGE as previous tickets stating that they have forwarded the affidavit to the insurance company and ask me to follow up in 14 days.

GOAT's Customer Service experience has been awful since they never read, or try to understand customer's message and trying to putting us into the infinity loop of 14 days waiting period, and your ticket will be marked as resolved even there's no solution given, plus you will not be able to send, or follow up the message.

Thanks for reaching out in regard to your recent order. Regrettably, it appears as though your package was lost while In-Transit from GOAT to you. While rare, issues including damaged or missing packages at the fault of the shipping courier do occur. According to our records however, we have not received a response to the request to complete the sent affidavit forms. Should you complete and return these forms, it may take 14 days to hear back with the results of the investigation.
