I am rejecting this response because:I never received a past due notice or phone call. I don't believe that I should be responsible for any late payments until I can review my account by getting my statements. I was paperless statements not knowing that I could not see my statements online. I have requested my statements twice now, each time stating that I want to see my statements before I pay any additional amount.I also believe that GM Financial billing system is not correct. I made a payment in January for $190.86, which never got posted to my account. After I complained, GM Financial sent me a refund check for $190.86. If I am delinquent and have a past due amount, why was my payment not applied to my account. So now I have no idea what is going on. My billing statement has one amount, my account on the website has another amount

Thank you for your feedback in such on this matterI'm happy that I get the title of my Dad's vehicle put in my name but I have another concernThe loan you have with my dad is still going to be in his nameBut the problem is probate is to get all debt out of his nameIf I'm going to pay over $a month for a vehicle I for one would love the credit put on my credit reportI have no money for a big down payment for a refinance loanBut then I ask myself if you know and trust me to put me on the TITLE of my dads car then why is it so hard to just put me on the loan contractThis seem's illegal because how are you going to collect debt of a loan of contract from a deceased personYou would take a big loss if something would happen if it came back to your companyI just want my credit build upSo later on in life I can purchase another vehicleMy point of view is I pay off my fathers loan then go to a car dealership and be told I don't have a substantial credit score and no history of any vehicles in good standing being paid offSo then I would be approved at allMy dad isn't here anymore to purchase a vehicle in his name for me so I can pay it off for him like I did his last vehiclesI built his credit upThe Chevrolet Cruze holds a lot of my heart because it's the only thing I have left of himMy brother and sister took everything elseBut thank you for your timeHope we can settle the matter

Dear Mr***,
Thank you for the additional correspondence sent to the Revdex.comI have reviewed your concerns and would like to provide the following information
On August 3, 2011, you signed a Retail Installment Sales Contract for the Dodge Ram in the amount of $13,at an interest rate of 20.50%The contract terms you agreed upon, state the loan would be repaid in monthly installments in the amount of $per month, beginning September 17,
On June 28, 2018, the decision was made to place the vehicle out for repossession, as allowed by the contractThe account history was reviewed thoroughly and it has been determined that the handling of the account, including repossession, was in compliance with all state and federal laws
Our records indicate that we spoke to you on June 29, in regards to the status of your accountAt this time, the representative explained the amount needed in order to stop further repossession efforts; at which time no firm arrangements were made on the accountThe last payment on record prior to the repossession was made on June 28, in the amount of $100.00; at which payment was applied towards the April installment due date
Upon review of the account, our records reflect that the vehicle was repossessed on June 30, A “Notice of Right to Redeem or Reinstate” and the “Notice of Our Plan to Sell Property” were mailed to the address of record on July 5, These notices explained that you would be required to pay the difference between the amount you owed to GM Financial and the amount the vehicle sold for, plus expenses if you opted not to redeem/reinstate the vehicle
A copy of your account history has been requested and will be mailed to the address of recordShould you have any further questions or require additional assistance please contact GM Financial at ###-###-####

GM financial acknowledged that on July 2, they were contacted and made aware that the vehicle we financed with GM Financial was traded in on a new car on June 30, The June payment was due on the 26th of June which made it days past the due date. Our records show that we gave them the dealership name, address and phone number during the July 2nd contact I received a notice in August that the account was past due and they reported it to my creditI called the dealership and they said that they sent the payoff on July 6, 2015. It seems odd that they received the second check that was sent over night and this was the same address that the first one was sent to. I am going to get a copy of the first check and the address it was sent to and attach it to this response. GM Financial seem to have discarded the first check as it was not returned to the dealership or attempted to cash it, in a way to make our last payment seem as being late and to charge us for late fees, extra interest and other fees, so as not to have to refund us an money owed for over payment. Our records show that during the two times I attempted to contact GM Financial between July 6th and again on July 13, by phone, they did not return my callI mailed a letter and attached the sale agreement that showed the new vehicle purchase and the trade in of the GMC Acadia that was financed by GM Financial, but this was also not acknowledged

I am rejecting this response because: It does not provide resolution nor does the company take responsibility. All it states is that GM is reviewing the account. How long will that take? Will they provide their response through the Revdex.com? They say they will write me....but, who knows when that will be and the Revdex.com should be able to clearly see the response and the action GM takes. All communication at this moment should include the Revdex.com until I feel my complaint is resolved

Thank you for the additional correspondence sent to the Revdex.comI have reviewed your concerns and would like to offer the following information
On May 31, 2014, you signed a Retail Installment Sale Contract (“Contract”) for the Chevrolet Malibu in the amount of $32,
at an interest rate of 7.90%Within the agreement, you agreed to repay the loan in monthly installments in the amount of $per month, beginning on July 15, By defaulting on the installment payments, you broke the terms of this contract resulting in the repossession of the vehicle on August 11,
Please note that GM Financial places a high priority on adhering to all state and federal lawsPursuant to Illinois’s pre-repossession notice requirements, cure notices were sent to all parties of the Contract via first class mail to the last known address on June 29,
On August 11, 2015, the decision was made to place the vehicle out for repossession, as allowed by your contract, at this time the account was days past dueThe Notice of our Plan to Sell Property, the Notice of Right to Reinstatement and Redemption and Intent to Sell were mailed to all parties of this Contract via first class mail on August 13, The account history was reviewed thoroughly and it has been determined that the handling of the account, including repossession, was in compliance with all state and federal laws
Please understand that GM Financial is required to report truthful and accurate information to the credit reporting agenciesOur research concludes that the account status and account payment history have been reported to the credit agencies with accuracyAs a result, we are unable to make any changes or deletions
GM Financial funded the purchase of this vehicle in good faith that all contractual repayment obligations would be honored Repossession is always unfortunate; however, we are unable to comply with your request for a refund
Included for review are copies of your Contract and Account Payment HistoryShould you have any additional questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact our Loss Recovery department at ###-###-####
