I opened my computer to find a error report that my computer was infected by a virus and a trojan and that all my information had been hacked I tried to close it to turn my computer off and couldn't so I called the number After minutes of remote access by a tech I was told it would cost me $or $I informed them that I am a senior and they gave me a reduced price of $I tried to get ahold of a family member before I did the transaction but after being unable to do so I did a transactionRight after they connected me to someone to fix my computer, my grandson called He told me it is a scamI disconnected the tech window and turned off my computerWhen I get a call back from the tech he asked me to turn the computer back on I told him I didn't want these services and that it was less than hours so I was cancelling the whole transaction He said customer service would call me back tomorrow Right after he hung up my computer came back on, and lo and behold, I could access all sorts of things on google No noticeI ran a scan and I am up to dateI called and cancelled my debit card and put a stop payment scheduled for this service on 10/**/These people are straight perpetrating fraud

The exact same thing happened to me on November **Tech Matrix said that they were representing my cell phone provider and that they would not have provided their number if I did not have an issueI was ignorant and fell for their sales pitch as they completely scared me to believe that there were hackers in my computer as we spokeI gave them my credit card numberI should have read this review first! I am going to request a refund and we will see what happensI have already reported the incident to my credit card company

Tech-Matrix is a scam out of India. The pop-up tells you must call them to get help. It has the words "Microsoft Certified" but they are not a company used by Microsoft to offer tech support for their software. The people do not speak clear English and are very hard to understand.

This company targeted my mother while she was on the computer late at night. With a pop up, they warned her that her computer had been infected and she needed to take immediate action. They accessed her computer, asked for a credit card number to start a contract then called her to gain passwords to her computer.
After a very frustrating conversation with a rude and condescending man, I was able to get all charges refunded but still have concerns about what they put on her computer.
This is a complete scam and targets people that don't have computer knowledge!!

The customer was contacted and concerns were discussed.  We will be pulling the recorded conversation of the support session and review it.  This issue will be looked into for a satisfactory resolution with the customer.

I am responding to the complaint ID [redacted].  I did receive a check for the refund which was due to me from Yoda Care on July *, 2015.  I deposited to my bank account and it was returned to my bank.  Now I have also incurred fees for a returned check.  Please advise in what I am to do now? Thank you.[redacted]
