On September **, I had a pop up on my computerI did not realize it was a pand thought it really was a warning from ***I have a [redacted] because I kept getting viruses on my PC and haven't had any since I was not able to get out of the screen, it kept warning me of all the viruses my computer had and that closing the screen may wipe out my computerI called the number and was told I had to let the operator scan my computer to check for viruses and if I had any he could send me to a third party business to remove them and offer me securityI asked if he worked with [redacted] and the operator said [redacted] ***When I saw my son two days later he went to the [redacted] and asked if this was through [redacted] and was told "Absolutely Not"I immediately called Tech Matrix and told them I wanted to cancelMy reason was that I had no faith in their company because they had lied to get my businessI was promised on September **, that I would receive a refund, minus $69.99, in 2-business daysI called around October [redacted] to check on the refund and was told again it would be 2-business daysI told them that if it wasn't in my account in that time, my bank would recoup the total amountOn October [redacted] I initiated a recovery through my bankNever trust a liar
Just by reading these reviews had gotten me more & more sceptical about this TechMatrix CoAt first I told myself I should look into this company first before I gave them my card & personnel infoBut being that these people had mentioned The Revdex.com, I came to belief that TechMatrix was very legit & they made it seem that they were part of The Revdex.comSo I had a bit of reliefThen I had 2nd thoughts and decided to look them up to see if it was a scam before they made a scheduled debit out of card the next dayAfter reading the reviews, I could relate to all of themI remember this all went down late at nite and was very weird the way it went downReminded me of the movie Enemy of StateThey totally took over my computer right in front of meThey did fix my computer and I thought it was a good jobBut the way they did it was very spookyAfter reading about the company, how The Revdex.com reviews that, TechMatrix is not an affiliate, I remembered howTechMatrix had brought up the Revdex.com, I guess kinda reversed pyschologized meThat really got me skepticalized! Anyway, I totally cancelled my card, awaiting a new one, then I called TechMatrix and just said I want to cancel the order before they attempt to debit my cardI was questioned about the contract cancellation and I explained that I just wanted to cancel and that I was not certain about the whole thingI didnt want to argue, but they kept saying that I signed and gave authorizationI told them listen, Im a customer that would just like to cancel before I get debitedAnd would like a receipt cancellation sent to me pleaseNow next step is to find a local computer tech, to advise me of safety concerns and issuesThey did fix my computer in a weird way, but I do not know if they added anything to it.Thats what bugs meAnd when they mentioned about sum kinda affiliation with The Revdex.com, and I had read the reviews what The Revdex.com had mentioned, I had a feeling something is not rightSo I would BEWARE and always take precautions of dealing with people or companies you do not know ofAlways take the time in finding out reviews about uncertainties from at least someone you known
I feel this company misrepresented what the were selling and that it is a scam I would like my money back $ I really though I was buying Advanced tech Support which is a program that really likethey even put a Teck Support shortcut on my computer
