Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Nothing on them links help me at all. I am inviting people to like my page through the likes I receive and I seem to reach a limit amount of people I can invite at one time. I just want this limit removing as I am paying for this service to boost the adverts that get the 'likes'.Sincerely,[redacted]

Hi,Thanks for contacting Facebook through the Revdex.com. It looks like you signed up for login approvals, one of our opt-in security features. With login approvals, we send you a security code each time you log in from a new device. This means that only someone with access to your mobile phone or one of...

your recognized devices can log into your account. You can start by trying one of these ways to get back into your account:- Request another login approvals code by clicking the "Resend Code" link on the Facebook login screen- Try logging in from a computer, phone or tablet that you've used to log into Facebook before- Use Code Generator if you're logged into Facebook on your phone or tablet:[redacted]If you're still having issues, please click the “didn't receive code” link and follow the onscreen instructions to complete a report.

Hi [redacted],
Thanks for your message. You should now have access to your account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
It looks like the issue you experienced was related to a security feature called login approvals....

Once you turn on login approvals, you'll be asked to enter a special security code each time you try to access your Facebook account from a new computer, mobile phone or tablet. That way, no one can log into your account without a password and a security code.
If you have any other questions related to login approvals, please respond to this email and we'll be happy to help.

Thanks for contacting Facebook,
[redacted]

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/06/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Prior to making contact with Revdex.com, I went to that very link. It asked for some letters and numbers after each unauthorized charge. I individually put the number/letter in one by one. None worked. I called your customer service hotline to listen to a recording telling me Facebook doesn't have a customer service hotline.
Secondly, the link you sent requires me to "log in". I will never login to Facebook because I have absolutely no idea how this happened to begin with! A deactivated account and close to $900 in unauthorized transactions?
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2015/06/29) */
Upon the advisement of my bank, I cancelled the debit card & shredded it so, I don't have access to that. Here are the numbers I attempted to put on the Facebook page you are referring to that didn't work.
6/5/15 $25.09 #[redacted]
6/8/15 $51.28 [redacted]
6/8/15 $346.56 #[redacted]
6/8/15 $250.08 #[redacted]
6/9/15 $195.00 #[redacted]
Hopefully, this will give you the information you need. If you google this, I'm not the first person this has happened to with Facebook. Universally, every single person this happened to, including myself, had no association with Facebook, didn't login to Facebook and had not had their debit card out of their own possession. Nor were any charges ever authorized. I don't even know or understand what you can buy from Facebook!
Thank you
Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2015/07/08) */
Hello,
Thank you for contacting the Revdex.com. Unfortunately, this does appear to be a case of fraud. Your credit card was used on our site to make purchases you did not authorize. Rest assured, we take your security and privacy seriously. It looks like you have already disputed these charges with your bank.
At this point, we have done everything we can to take action in this matter. We encourage you to contact your credit card company with further questions.
Thanks,

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Unfortunately the reporting of a violation did not result in any positive outcome. Trying to report this type of business duplicate site is cumbersome and apparently impossible to get results. We have spent hours trying to report this violation via the Facebook websites, to no avail. Sorry to say that this may require legal action to solve.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
FIRST OFF, I WANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT FACEBOOK IS MAKING AN EFFORT TO FIX THINGS, so I am waiting for Facebook to be able to figure out what is going wrong soon. But the Revdex.com is the only way I available to communicate with them since there is no other way of reaching them--not even through their Online Help Center. I will contact you by phone to keep you updated.
Initially, it seemed like the issue had been fixed but unfortunately, it was only a temporary fix. I had access to the site for three days: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. (I had even emailed you, the Revdex.com, a positive update--Please see sopy-pasted text below.) Early Tuesday morning, my account was disabled again with the exact same message as the first time. I resubmitted my ID at the site. Today is Thursday, and I still have not regained access to Facebook.
I would like to know why the system keeps disabling me. If it is something I am doing that causes this, I need to know. As far as I know, I have been doing normal stuff: Exploring the website. Engaging with my group. Exploring new groups. Adding friends, Replying to posts, Learning about the privacy settings, Adjusting my privacy settings, I even posted updated instructions to the Help Center to help other users. For the life of me, I cannot figure out what I could be doing that might be triggering Facebook's bot disable action. Personally, I think something's wrong witht he software. But, I'm only guessing.
UPDATE EMAILED TO Revdex.com ON 7/1/2017 AT [redacted] after regaining access to my Facebook account:
----------------QUOTE-----------------------
Hello Revdex.com San Francisco / Bay Area,
Yesterday I submitted a rejection to business response because I still had not heard from them and was not going to be home today to reply back to you on time. But I got sick and had to stay home. As turns out, this morning there was an email from the business in my mailbox and I wanted to post an update to your website, but could not find a way to do it. So, I have decided to email you.
Kindly update the complaint information with the following progress report.
UPDATE:
I am very happy to inform you that Facebook has corrected the problem and that this issue has been resolved favorably. Early this morning I received an email notification from Facebook giving me access to the platform and I have been able to start working on my profile again.
Thank you so much for your mediation!

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response...

because:

Have YOU read Facebook's "response"?

Bumbled together by legalized-hacker-bots. Entirely scornful of the details of any particular conflict, whether its someone who enters the wrong password too many times or a thirty-year-old woman whose account is deleted the same day her gyno gives her a cancer diagnosis. Facebook has the same (LITERALLY the same), utterly purposeless, message for both users -- For ALL its users. No matter what the problem is.

& that message is, "I am Facebook, you are not -- Just let us take it away from you. Really.

"& stop caring NOW."

"Caching"-in the advertisers line all the way.

Not me personally, but people crank their entire lives into Facebook -- How can it be legal for Facebook to spit in their users' faces like that?

I mean, I know how -- It's wrong for Facebook's particular rip-off to be legal, though.

As laughable as I'm certain that sounds.

Thanks.

Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The links provided do not address the issue . I would like to know why within 1 week my account was locked and identification required for me to unlock when I have made no changes to my account and use my legal name ? It is concerning that I would have to send my identification to you with no real explanation or no resolution . No other social network does this. Defaulting to irrelevant links is not a satisfactory response .
Sincerely,

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because FB is asking me to provide ID I already provid** several times. It's strange that the exactly same picture of my ID was OK to release access to my account few months ago and now it's not acceptable.
Yes, I do use FB on my phone, laptop, and desktop. I tri** all those devices to access my account unsuccessfully.
