Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/05/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
By requiring that I file such a complaint with my information presented to the individual who was harassing me, this policy opens me up to further harassment as a consequence. If your only proposed solution is to fill out a document which would exacerbate the issue rather than allowing the reporting of such behavior as I outlined in my original complaint, that is unacceptable. There must be a direct way to deal with this kind of behavior on Facebook without the complex issues (and potential legal repurcussions) of filing a copyright complaint or blocking the user (which does not stop them from continuing the harassment in your absence, contributing to the degradation of your public image). Facebook continues to sidestep the issue by forcing its users into a position where they feel they have no choice but to drop the complaint, and this shows a disregard for the safety and comfort of its users.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/04/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Their policy is that it has to be approved by the account holder if someone under the age of 18 purchases something. They never fully explained how to remove the credit card from my account. I thought I had it removed until my 4 year old daughter once again was able to make the purchase after I tried to remove the credit card the first time. I feel it is not right becuase all she did was click on a pop up that they put into the game by accident just trying to get the message off the screen. It should have asked for a security question before the purchase was completed to make sure that they really wanted to buy something. It did not do this on this game so I feel it is wrong to charge because if there was additional security when making a purchase even just reentering your password [redacted] you would not have cases of where something is purchases by mistake. That little bit of extra security would have prevented any purchases being made in the first place.

Ads may not directly or indirectly link to landing pages where people can purchase any of these products.
We will not be able to reactivate your ad account for any reason. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/01/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Because they do not universally enforce the indirect linking to what they consider restricted items. I had no links that were posted for any weapons. They point to one site that had knives in a totally different area that I have no control over. But have no problems allowing Amazon ads. Even though Amazon sells nearly every item on their restricted list. They also rejected other ads that went to a different sight that sold a single item which is not on their list of restricted items.
I did NOT advertise a banned item. I operated within their rules. I have no control over indirect links. If they wish to push the indirect link rule, it MUST be enforced universally, not selectivly.
So NO! I do not accept the form letter response.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Facebook has now unpublished my page claiming private sales of firearms. I do not sell firearms. And even if I was my page was age restricted to 18+ and had the facebook disclaimer. This seems to be in retribution for filing a complaint.
Again, I did NOT advertise weapons.

Hi [redacted],
Thanks for contacting Facebook. Your account was disabled for violating the Facebook Terms. Unfortunately, this means that we will not be able to reactivate your account for any reason.
Facebook is a community where people...
connect and share with friends using their real identities. This means:
- Your account must list your real full name and birthday.
- Personal accounts must represent individual people only. It's a violation of Facebook policy to use a personal Timeline to represent anything other than yourself (ex: celebrities, pets, ideas, objects, etc.).
- Using your account created to repeatedly contact strangers for business or dating purposes is not allowed.
For more information about these policies, please review the Facebook Community Standards:
https://www.facebook.com/communitystandards
Additionally, since you have already contacted Facebook directly regarding this issue via email, you can continue corresponding with Facebook through email.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I would like to know how I violated the Facebook terms exactly. You have determined me to be guilty without telling me what I am guilty of and giving me a chance to defend myself against your accusations.
I am greatly offended that you would simply disable my account without giving me any reason as to why you choose to do so. Simply stating 'policy violation' is like putting someone in jail because they 'committed a crime'
I am sure the general public would agree with me.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/18) */
Hi [redacted],
This charge was for ad charges that accrued during the month of October 2015. Although you were billed on 10/31/2015, these charges were for ads that ran from 10/01/2015 to 10/30/2015. I can confirm that these charges are correct...
according to the selections you made when you placed your ads. You can view this transaction at:
https://www.facebook.com/ads/manager/billing/transaction_details/?act=XXXXXXXXX&...⇄ />
The reason you were billed at this time is because of our billing threshold system, an improved and simplified way you are charged for Facebook ads.
* Billing thresholds control the frequency of each bill based on specified threshold amounts.
* You'll be billed once your advertising charges reach your threshold amount.
* The total amount you're charged will never be above the budget that you set for your individual ads.
* If your charges never reach the threshold amount within a given month, you'll be billed at the end of the month for any remaining balance.
You can view your invoices and billing threshold in the billing section of your ads manager:
https://www.facebook.com/ads/manage/billing.php?ref=cr
I also attached the invoice for the transaction in question, along with screenshots of the Ad Campaign Summary and History for both ads that are affiliated to this charge. I noticed that for "10/22/2015 Promoting [redacted]'s Cfs/me diary," you set a daily budget rather than a lifetime budget. I strongly encourage you to use lifetime budget for all of your future ads.
Lifetime budgeting is very similar to a daily budget, but instead of setting an amount to spend per day, you set a lifetime budget to spend across the finite lifetime of the campaign. The benefit with lifetime budgeting is that the system will also pace your ad spend.
For example, if you specify $100 to be spent for a 10-day campaign, each day theoretically will need to spend $10/day. If the campaign only spends $8 on the first day, the system will try to make up the missed amount at a later date within the campaign.
Learn more about lifetime budgeting in the Help Center:
https://www.facebook.com/help/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX?ref=cr
Please note that when you switch budget types for ads that were previously running, your budget will be reset for the day. For example, if you already spent $10 and then decide to switch budget types, your spend will be reset to $0 again for that same day.
Please be aware that, because of this, your charges for that day may exceed the daily budget you were using or are switching to.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks,
[redacted]

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/11/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I don't feel like Facebook is listening to anything I am trying to say. I continually get robotic, "copy and paste" marketing responses. There is no understanding or compassion [redacted] no human element what so ever. They are not addressing any specifics of my complaint. This is NOT a business account. I make no profit. I am a sick person trying to help other sick people. I can get just as much response sharing my page on group pages that I am a part of, but a couple of times I opted to spend $5 just to see what would happen. I would not willingly have spent more than that because I do not have the money. I am sick and am still awaiting a disability determination. The records can be reviewed and will show that I only spent $5 a couple of times. I did my part and offered my "middle ground" of paying my intended $5, but FB is not budging on anything. They just keep bringing up budget and marketing strategies, which I don't care about because this is NOT A BUSINESS, I make no profit, and I would not have willingly opted to spend more than $5. They won't even respond to any of the specifics of my complaint. Facebook admitted in their response that they had changed their options. If they hadn't, we wouldn't be going through this. One of the many issues I have that is not being addressed, but has been admitted to. Again, I truly feel like they are huge corporation trying to take advantage of a sick person. And I have not even touched on the poor, insensitive customer service issue.
They should have pages like mine completely separate from any type of business pages. They keep asking for a web address but I don't have one because THIS IS NOT A BUSINESS. They also sent me a notice yesterday after they had gotten the Revdex.com notice and they threatened to shut down my page if I had any more complaints. So they don't want this sick person to try to help and support other sick people, even though I am not making any money? And they just keep sending me cold, dead, inhuman responses and threaten to shut my page down because I am trying to explain that my case is different. Shame on Facebook for deceiving, robbing and taking advantage of a sick person and for threatening to shut down a page that only exists to attempt to help other sick people.
I really hope there is a human at the Revdex.com who is reviewing this and who can understand what I am trying to say.

Hello,
Your case has been carefully reviewed and your campaigns ran according to the settings set by you.
In regards to the transaction on 10/31/2015:
Since you have already completed a chargeback, no further action is necessary as the funds were returned to you by the bank.
Furthermore, your current balance of $2.65 has been waived. *You will not be billed any further unless you utilize advertising services again.
Thanks,

Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2015/12/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Again, here is more deception from Facebook. I have not received any funds back from my bank because they have not received any funds back from Facebook and the Visa complaint case I filed is still active. Facebook appears to be trying to get me to drop this complaint, without them giving any resolution, or showing any responsibility or decency. I just spoke with [redacted] at First Bank Kansas, phone #XXX-XXX-XXXX who said they have heard nothing from Facebook and the Visa case has not yet been resolved. She gave her permission for me to use her name and she can also be contacted. So I will not be finished with this until my funds are actually returned. You can also see that Facebook has no since of wrong or right either. A good and decent company with excellent customer service skills would not only have resolved this LONG ago, but they would have apologized to me for any misunderstanding. Again... SHAME on Facebook! ...for taking advantage of the sick, for showing their greed even though they have more money than they need, but mostly for their unethical business practices and lack of decency.
