Complaint:[redacted]I am rejecting this response because: You told me to do exactly what I did, multiple times! My report was dismissed. Facebook has caused me grief and depression by letting people bully online and doing NOTHING about it!Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Following the Facebook dialog boxes presented to us a week or so back made the situation worse.  The problem we are working to solve has spanned a number of years.  If support log requests are still in your records you can see that we have been trying to create a clean brand presence for the [redacted] International Film Festival over those years.
Click on the following link and you will see that "[redacted] Fest" and "[redacted]" have been co-mingled and that [redacted] name is displayed.  Not the desired soludtion.  [redacted] is VP of the festival and has his own personal Facebook presence.
We eager to have a Facebook page that looks like, and is managed in the manner of other film festivals.  We do have a page for the [redacted] International Film Festival.  Can we get rid of "[redacted]"/"[redacted]" while preserving "[redacted] International Film Festival?"
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the links provided do not account for the fact that my facebook account was hacked and the hacker changed my email address and phone number associated to change the password. This makes it impossible for me to recover my account by changing the password. I need them to send me a link to reset my password to the email address [redacted] or phone number [redacted]. Once I am able to access my account again, I can close it altogether so no one can fraudulently access it.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Facebook has resolved my issue. Thank you again and please close this case.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to...

complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
A few days after filing the complaint, I once more requested a change of my account name from the old name to [redacted], this time only sending them my Deed Poll and expired university ID. With these documents they now allowed the name change, and restored my account to the name [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: This does not resolve my issue. I have already uploaded the ID. I need to get the account reactivated. It was deactivated erroneously, as well as the one belonging to my friend [redacted]). We have been offered no explanation other than "we were not following community rules," even though we were. We might have been hacked, but there's no way to find out what happened. Three of our friends were removed on the same day. I just need access to take off my personal property-- my pictures, my saves, etc. If you don't want us on facebook, fine, but we need to be able to get our pictures off and our contacts. Please let us know what we can do. We follow the rules--even those outlined in the Facebook Community Guidelines-- we combed through all of them. 1 out of 5 of us has had their account reinstated with a message saying "this account was taken down in error." We believe all of ours are deactivated by error. Please reactivate the ones belonging to [redacted] and [redacted].  We have both submitted IDs.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/10/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
People have reported that page multiple times Mr. [redacted], with zero action taken by you and the rest of the staff as you claim it is not violating your lax Community Guidelines. It is blatant what they are doing does indeed violate those guidelines, yet you and the rest of the staff turn a blind eye to it, like you're afraid of retaliation by the group (which is a cult, behaves like a cult and parrots things like a cult)
I'm curious to know if anyone really did look at the page and the deceit and hate that the members of that page continually post, both on the page and in the comments themselves. (Some of which I've reported several times to the same effect as the page itself...
If what these people post (which is indeed hate speech and discrimination, which your guidelines forbid) is humorous? I'd hate to see what you really think is speech.
My request still stands, take down the offensive page, which clearly violates your guidelines, and either restrict the owner from making pages or outright ban them. Enough idleness is enough... Businesses like you should know what hate speech is before putting it as a guideline for people to follow.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It's sickening to know that a reputable business like Facebook lets people get away with such blatant disregard for Facebook's own rules and regulations. (This leads me to be surprised at the fact they have an A rating from the Revdex.com the poor way they handle issues of this sort)
As previously stated by me. People have reported the page and the contents/comments multiple times, but Facebook turned a blind eye to it, stating that it doesn't violate the Community Guidelines, when clearly it does... They have posted hateful things about Juggalos (People who love the Insane Clown Posse) Wiccans/atheists, people who dress up in animal/mascot costumes...
Why Facebook doesn't do anything about this blatant disregard for their own rules is beyond appalling. It's downright disgusting... (I also request that the Revdex.com rethink their A rating for Facebook. The way they can responses is not good business practice.)

Hi [redacted],
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The best way to let us know about abuse is to use the nearby "Report" link when you see the abuse on Facebook.
You can learn more about using report links by visiting the Help Center:...

https://www.facebook.com/help/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/?ref=cr
Facebook also provides several tools for addressing abuse on the site, including:
- Sending a message to the person who posted
- Blocking the person from contacting you
- Reporting the person if their behavior is abusive

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/06/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Their response seems to be telling me how I can stop/block people from contacting me on MY Facebook account. It tells how to report abusive behavior at their Help Center. The fact is - I DO NOT HAVE A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT. SOMEBODY ELSE HAS ONE USING MY TELEPHONE NUMBER AND MY YAHOO EMAIL ADDRESS. That's identity theft. Whoever has that account is pretending to be me.
My complaint was, AND STILL IS, that someone (I do not know who) has a Facebook account using my name and information. I responded to a telephone text message that Facebook sent to my phone instructing Facebook not to send anymore messages to my phone number. Facebook might have sent a message to that ID.. theft's Facebook account about using a "Report" link to report abuse. But, that message did not come to me because I am NOT the person who has the account using my information.
(5/22/2015 Otto EMAIL Inform Member of Complaint - 1st Letter). If this is supposed to mean that Facebook communicated with me then it is incorrect. Facebook might have sent a message to the I.D. theft who used my name and phone number when he/she opened the Facebook account. I am not that person.
I do NOT want to be held responsible for whatever that I.D. theft who has the Facebook account is doing. That is why I want the Revdex.com to make Facebook close that account.
I received a message in my Yahoo Spam folder on June 8, 2015. I blocked that address in Yahoo. It was from FB-User[redacted] with the address [redacted].com. I do not think that was from the Facebook administrators.
I do not accept their response in the message above because what I'm looking for is not instructions on how to block abusers from an I.D. theft's Facebook page but a statement from Facebook saying that the account using my name and information has been closed and no other Facebook accounts will be opened in my name or using my information.
