I am rejecting this response because CardCash is misleading and scamming its customers by failing to provide them clear and complete information about its Buyer Guarantee. The Buyer Guarantee on the CardCash website at [redacted]/guarantee/ states in no uncertain terms that gift card(s) purchased from CardCash “will be valid at the retailer for the dollar amount specified on your order until 45 days after you receive your order.”NOWHERE ON THE CARDCASH WEBSITE DOES IT STATE THAT CLAIMS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 45 DAYS!My gift card was drained of its funds within the 45 day window. It was NOT valid at the retailer for the 45 days after the date I received it. CardCash has an obligation to refund me the stolen funds under the clearly stated terms of the Buyer Guarantee. The CardCash Buyer Guarantee is purposefully designed to give consumers a false sense of security and to allow CardCash to pass losses on to its customers.Because of your failure to honor the very clear terms of the CardCash Buyer Guarantee and your failure to provide even a semblance of customer service, I have also filed complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Attorney General of the State of New York.I will not let this go.

seller used the gift card or it got canceled after we have checked the balance at the time of the listing. The percentages are kept very low because of all the proprietary fraud technology and KYC measures CardCash has working behind the scenes. Buying from any Marketplace is the classical the Risk vs Reward decision. Consumers shopping on a marketplace can save up to 35% but will at times run into cards that are invalid or have a balance discrepancy. This is not something we can control. However, in order to make our customers feel a bit more comfortable we offer a 45 day buyer protection guarantee. CardCash encourages all of its customers to use the cards within that time period and if they encounter an issue to immediately let us know within the first 45 days of their purchase. In such situations, if CardCash cannot recoup the funds from the original seller it will take the loss as part of its guarantee. Beyond the 45 day period, CardCash cannot absorb any additional liability and is very clear about this policy all over the website. This was temporary designation made in error by our credit card processing company, [redacted].The issue was resolved immediately and we have been refunding customers for any fees incurred. Please make sure to send your transaction information to us so we can process the refund.
Hi,We sent this to [redacted] who assured us they would take care of this. Please confirm that it was done as this should have been taken care of by now.Jeremy
Again, we are truly sorry that you are less than totally satisfied with your purchase. However, as we made clear, and as you have indicated, the balance on your card would have been intact had you observed our 45-day guarantee period. The nature of this market is that the cards we sell have been previously owned. We verify their value when we acquire them. If something happens to the balance later, but within 45 days of purchase, we stand behind it 100%. But no retailer can make indefinite guarantees. Our policy has been 45 days for several years and this was clearly conveyed on our website and in your order confirmation. If you wish to pursue legal action, please be advised that, also per our terms of service, by shopping with us, buyers agree to the Circuit Court of Ocean County, New Jersey as the controlling jurisdiction for any disputes.Once again, we regret that you are less than happy with your purchase. We hope you will consider shopping with us again.
Hi,We sent you the actual physical gift card and you lost it.My apologies for this matter yet we did not originate the gift card and therefore cannot do anything. This is a secondary gift card market, we only had one of that gift card which we sent to you.
HiThank you very much for reaching out to us. CardCash's primary focus is to please our customers. CardCash is a secondary gift card marketplace enabling consumers to buy, sell, and trade their pre-owned unwanted gift cards. Buying pre-owned gift cards enable consumers to take advantage of steep discounts but do entail a bit more risk than when purchasing newly issued gift cards. It's Risk vs Reward. Overall, most consumers choose to take advantage of the reward knowing that the risk although inherent is minimal. Additionally, since safeguarding and protecting our customers is our top priority, CardCash offers consumers a 45 day buyer protection guarantee. This way they can feel secure to shop on the marketplace and take advantage of all the great savings. However, we can only extend this guarantee for customers who contact us within 45 days of their purchase. A limited guarantee period is very common on every marketplace in every sector. Ebay, for example, offers a 30 day buyer protection guarantee. CardCash, is very clear about the guarantee time-frame and posts it prominently in numerous places on the website , includes it on a insert in our mailers, and in the terms and conditions on the site which users accept prior to making a purchase. We hope you will continue shopping on our marketplace and take advantage of all the great savings.
Hi, We clearly state on our site as well as we send out a document with the order reminding our customers about our 45 day guarantee period. We will be issuing a $25.00 website credit to the customer. -CardCash Customer Support

I am rejecting this response because: the selling of the e-gift cards was supposed to have been backed by a physical card. Of the 25 e-cards I purchased, 6 now show a zero balance (and we did NOT use them), and 3 show a lower balance than what was purchased (and we did NOT use them). Yes, I understand the 45 day guideline - but obviously Card Cash NEVER had the physical card in the first place. I have spoken with [redacted] Corporate and they have instructed their stores not to accept any of the Merchandise Credit cards unless the customer has the original Blue card - the paper copies that Card Cash is sending out will not be accepted. So even though some of my cards still show the original balance - they can not be used unless you have the original Merchandise Credit card. So - my question remains - where are the physical cards and why have the balance on some the e-cards gone to zero with out me using them?
