Hi, Order [redacted]  is not a valid order number. Is there an order number or email address that you can provide so we can look into this matter further.

Hi,I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.A refund has been issued.

Hi,I'm not sure what is meant by the fact that, "these returns were made in the month of January". Was the claim filed then because that's not reflected in our records.Jeremy

Despite the fact that this is beyond our 45-day guarantee wecan make an exception and offer the customer a website credit for the purchaseamount of the card.We apologize for the inconvenience and request that in thefuture the customer uses all cards within 45 days of purchase.

Hi,Please be advised that we have received this claim beyond our 45 day buyer protection period. CardCash is a gift card marketplace where millions of sellers can sell their unwanted pre-owned gift cards at a discount. CardCash checks the balance at the time of the listing.  Statistically...

only a very small percentage of our cards have issues where the seller used the gift card or it got canceled after we have checked the balance at the time of the listing.  The percentages are kept very low because of all the proprietary fraud technology and KYC measures CardCash has working behind the scenes. Buying from any Marketplace involves the classical Risk vs Reward decision. Consumers shopping on a marketplace can save up to 35% but will at times receive cards that are invalid or have a balance discrepancy.  This is not something we can control.  However, in order to make our customers feel a bit more comfortable we offer a 45 day buyer protection guarantee. CardCash encourages all of its customers to use the cards within that time period and if they encounter an issue to immediately let us know. We also require that all claims to be submitted to us within that 45 day period as that increases the probability of reaching the original seller and receiving a refund from him or her. In such situations, if CardCash cannot recoup the funds from the original seller it will take the loss as part of its guarantee and issue a refund to the customer. For claims submitted beyond the 45 day period, CardCash will still attempt to request a refund from the original seller but if unsuccessful , CardCash cannot absorb any additional liability and is very clear about this policy all over the website. In your situation, we were unfortunately unsuccessful in recouping funds from the original seller and cannot offer any refunds for this order since it is beyond the 45 day period.   This 45 day buyer protection guarantee is clearly posted on the sidebar of our website. See for example [redacted]in addition it is clearly stipulated in the terms and conditions of the site, which customers accept prior to using our site and making a purchase.  For more information about our 45 day guarantee please see here [redacted]. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you, however at CardCash we firmly believe we took the appropriate steps to alert the customers of our 45 day buyer protection period.

Hi,I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. This is a secondary gift card market. When all cards come into our facility we verify that there is a balance on the gift card before the card is loaded onto our site.Unfortunately once in a while the seller or merchant pulls...

the code and it will be invalid.A full refund has been issued back to the method of payment used at the time of the purchase.

I am rejecting this response because I informed the company that the gift card was used before I received it in the mail. Don't they check the balance...

before they sell it and mail it out? I informed that that I informed them but could not locate the email. If the seller sold them a bogus gift card, they should follow up with the seller. Apparently from the complaints against them, this has happened often with other buyers. I told them I have spent over $12,000 and this is how they treat their loyal customers? My request for $90 is a small amount compared to the thousands of dollars I have spent. If they refuse, I will no longer purchase anything from ABC and heir sister company (where I have also spent a lot of money).
Regards,
Stephanie Cadelinia

Hi, We will be issuing you a $50.00 website credit.

I apologize for the delay. The cards were high value which triggered an alert in our system necessitating contact.I'm not sure why no one followed up but we are having someone reach out to the customer.

Hi,My apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. A refund has been issued on 1/11/16 back to the method of payment used at the time of purchase. This is a secondary gift card market as we sometimes run into the risk of a seller using a code after it is sold of the merchant...

themselves closing the card due to fraud. This is not something that occurs often yet it is something that does happen once in awhile. That is why we do have our 45 day guarantee period since we understand that this can happen from time to time.

Hi,I apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused you.A refund has been issued 8/16.Please give the refund a few days to process.

Hi,We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. However we received the claim pass our 45-day window, a refund will not be issued. As I mentioned in my previous response we understand that once in awhile there is a risk purchasing from a secondary market. If a situation comes up like this we do not take fraud lightly and it is dealt with.

reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me provided the refund is sent in a timely manner. I await the refund, but I really didn't see a date mentioned that it would be sent.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I appreciate the website credit.  Thank you for that.  However, it appears my complaint wasn't even read.  You state that safeguarding and protecting your customers is your top priority, but this appears to only take place for 45 days.  Why would a company not want to be notified of a fraudulent seller, no matter what the time frame is?  I would think this information would assist in strengthening your fraud protection, but as I had mentioned in previous unanswered emails to your company, you obviously only care about the customer's protection if it is going to cost you money.  In your response, you comment on [redacted] guarantee.  I'm not sure what this has to do with following up or making a notation about a gift card your company purchased from a fraudulent seller.  It is crystal clear from your response that you continue to purchase gift cards from fraudulent sellers as long the fraud occurs after 45 days and doesn't effect your bottom line.
