I am rejecting this response because: Per the instructions that were provided to me by CardCash.com (below), I only added delivery...

confirmation as opposed to certified tracking.  "If you are sending high value cards, we recommend that you add delivery confirmation to your package for protection."These cards were sent via USPS to the listed P.O. Box, and I received the receipt of delivery confirmation back with a signature stating the recipient had received the envelope on Wednesday, May 18.  Just this morning, a representative from CardCash called me to ask me about this as well.  I explained to her the exact same thing that I've explained to the other representatives that I had spoken to.

I am rejecting this response because:
The balance on the card is 0$ now. So it was apparently good enough to use by your company.

Hi, Customer is going against the Revdex.com rules as they disputed through the method of payment used at the time of purchase.

I am rejecting this response because: I did not keep the [redacted] card because once I had put the card number and the pin into the CardCash system, I knew it would be worthless.  Well, I've learned on thing - CardCash is a rip off and one day someone will sue you, someone who has money and sells you more than one card.  At least all I lost was the $17.91 you said you would give me for the card.  I can't do anything via the Revdex.com, but trust me, in my spare time I will be looking for blogs where I can share my story.  Thank you for nothing - which is exactly what I got from you.

Hi,I apologize for the delay. We reached out to the customer today and left a message. When we hear back we will move this forward.

Hi, As I mentioned before it clearly states about our 45-day window in more then one place on our website.CardCash is a gift card marketplace where millions of sellers can sell their unwanted pre-owned gift cards at a discount. CardCash checks the balance at the time of the listing.  Statistically only a very small percentage of our cards have issues where the seller used the gift card or it got canceled after we have checked the balance at the time of the listing.  The percentages are kept very low because of all the proprietary fraud technology and KYC measures CardCash has working behind the scenes. Buying from any Marketplace is the classical the Risk vs Reward decision. Consumers shopping on a marketplace can save up to 35% but will at times run into cards that are invalid or have a balance discrepancy.  This is not something we can control.  However, in order to make our customers feel a bit more comfortable we offer a 45 day buyer protection guarantee. CardCash encourages all of its customers to use the cards within that time period and if they encounter an issue to immediately let us know within the first 45 days of their purchase. In such situations, if CardCash cannot recoup the funds from the original seller it will take the loss as part of its guarantee. Beyond the 45 day period, CardCash cannot absorb any additional liability and is very clear about this policy all over the website. On CardCash [redacted]in addition to the terms and conditions of the site, which customers accept prior to making a purchase.  For more information about our 45 day guarantee please see here [redacted] * We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you, however at CardCash we firmly believe we took the appropriate steps to alert the customers of our 45 day buyer protection period.

me.

Hi, Payment is being sent to the customer for all three orders via the payment method the customer selected.

Hi, After further research into this matter we decided to issue you a refund. You were told something and we will keep to our word.

I am rejecting this response because:The gift card in question is a [redacted] restaurant card. I have spoken with a [redacted] gift card representative who stated that the balance on this card was removed by [redacted] on 11/24/2015, making the card invalid from that date.  I purchased the card from cashcard.com on 01/10/2016.  Clearly, cashcard.com knowingly sold me an invalid card as the card had no value a full 46 days prior to my purchase of the card from cashcard.com.  They represented to me that the card had a value of $100 at the time of purchase, but the card was actually worthless 46 days prior to my purchase.I am still seeking a refund of the purchase price, or replacement of the card with a card that is actually valid at the time of sale.

I am rejecting this response because:
I did a balance check on one of my cards, and it shows that it was used 7 days BEFORE I bought it.  that's why my $25 gift card was only $15.Of the 6 gift cards I bought in june, 2 of them had $0 balances and 2 of them had balances less than what they showed.  That's not a very small percentage.  If it was 1 or gift cards over a period of time, that would be different.  4 out of 6 in a month is a different story, and suggests your practices aren't as thorough as you suggest.

Hi,Our system declined the order. The gift cards are available for use by the consumer.

Hi,Your claim was received passed our 45-day window.CardCash is a secondary market , where we buy and sell unwanted gift cards from consumers.  As in every secondary marketplace products can be defected. This is especially true in a Gift Card Secondary Market where there exists the risk of the...

seller using the gift cardafter they sold it to us or where cards sold to CardCash were originally acquired fraudulently and later gets canceled by the issuing merchant. CardCash has invested heavily in technological solutions to weed out fraudulent cards. Additionally, our systems perform identity verification checks on sellers to prevent anonymous fraudsters from utilizing our platform.  The percentage of fraudulent sellers and cards that make it through our system are minimal, but they do exist.Customers who shop from secondary markets need to make a risk verse reward analysis, consumers can save up 35% on the cost of their gift cards but incur a risk of a small amount of cards potentially going bad.   In an effort to reduce our customers risk , CardCash extends a 45 buyer protection period and encourages consumers to use their gift cards within this period of time and to initiate a claim prior to the expiration of the 45 day period in the event their is an issue with the card balance. This buyer protection guarantee period is clearly is stated prominently in several places on our website in addition to the terms and conditions of the site, which customers accept prior to making a purchase.  For more information about our 45 day guarantee please see here [redacted] * We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you, however at CardCash we firmly believe we took the appropriate steps to alert the customers of our 45 day buyer protection period.  Unfortunately, since your claim was submitted so many days after your purchase, our efforts to get reimbursed from the original seller of the cards has failed, and since it's past the 45 day buyer protection period, CardCash cannot absorb the liability of the loss. Please rest assured that the amount of cards that do go bad are minimal, and we encourage you to continue to take advantage of our steep discounted gift cards and continue to purchase gift cards from our platform but attempt to use them within our protection period.
