Order some vinyl windows from the back on 7/22/2017. I was told in the contractor agreement that the window would be here around the 9/16/2017 and the job would completion on 9/30/2017. I call around the end of September the first of October, and the windowed where not completed, that someone would call when they got in to Portland, sometime around the end of October I call again still no windowed and no phone call, on or about the first week of November, I got call and message that the windowed where in Portland, they were going to look at the windowed to make sorry no damage, during shipping. This the 11/20/2017 still no windowed and know calls. I ask for our down payment to be returned, so we could look some place else. At this time I have made all of the calls to them, esteem one. This the 11/20/2017 still no windows and NO refund or calls.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I have two sale representative come to my house, after a few people were walking around the neighborhood setting up appointments and getting promotions to enter sweepstakes. I was only looking into getting estimate, but felt pressed into signing contract in order to enter sweepstakes. I have one sale representative called and leave message, that I unable to understand due talking too fast. He texted me and came back to bring me the financial paperwork and I asked about cancelling which he said yes, due to no obligation. Explain some wrong information on paperwork. Felt was mislead. Very upset.
A young woman named *** rang my doorbell and said she was with a "local" firm in Meridian (Reve Exteriors) that would be in my neighborhood tomorrow and would like to stop by and give me an estimate. I am considering some work, so consented. She then proceeded to try to fill in a worksheet with questions that were increasingly intrusive: how long in home, have I always lived in *** (then where did I move here from), "do you live here alone?". When I commented such information not necessary for an estimate, she said "I just need to make sure you are on the up-and-up and that the contractor can call you by name". She rang my doorbell unsolicited, so I decided to make sure she was on the up-and-up: called the number on the flyer which was not local; they are a franchise from another state. It is inappropriate to have your sales minions going door-to-door and making them fill out forms with personal information on homeowners (none of your business if I live alone; think that makes me easier to scam, do you?). Schedule an estimate if you like, but leave the rest out. I have not called the police as apparently you are a real business, but am still considering it.
Hello ***, Thank you so much for your feedback about our local canvasser ***. I apologize on behave of our company. The questions you were asked are not standard practice in order to schedule a free estimate. Again I apologize, and we will be giving the canvasser additional training, as she is new to our company. I also left you a voice mail this morning to call me back, so that I can explain what exactly our company does and how we schedule our free estimates.
Thank you *** from customer care

I am rejecting this response because: your system does not give me any option other than to accept or not, and I would like to speak to *** before hitting "accept". My not-so-smart phone indicated a call from an 877 area code and a voice mail this am, but unfortunately I am unable to see or access any voice mail. I would like to speak with her regarding this and would be happy to call her back if I knew the correct phone number. Please provide me the number or ask her to call again (I would be free from 8-9:30am on Wed. ***; I would not be likely to answer tomorrow as I will be at work).
Sincerely

The short version of this review is they use high pressure sale tactics to get you to sign a contract on the spot and once that contract is signed you are no longer important to them. They do NOT communicate the status of your project. When you call to inquire they hustle you off the phone with a promise to call back and then never do. The job was scheduled to be completed mid-September. It is now the first of November and it is STILL not 100% completed. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM. I will never use them again and never would recommend them to anyone.
Other reviewers have mentioned that the sales reps "double team" you when they come for a sale pitch. This is their normal practice and yet when two people arrived at my house they stated one of the ladies was "in training". That was obviously not true as having two sales reps do the pitch is their normal practice. This should have been a huge red flag for me but I let them do their sales pitch. As other reviewers have said the presentation took much longer than the 1.5 hours they said. I was pressured to sign a contract on the spot. I felt their pricing was within reason and they offered to do additional work (like wrapping the fascia) that no other contractors had mentioned. So I signed. All the necessary paperwork to do the job was completed on August 1st, 2017 and I was told, and the paperwork stated, the job should be completed by mid September.
The sub-contractor doing the work came and did the critical measurements the last week of August. Two weeks later I called DaBella and asked them what is going on with my project as I haven't heard anything and the work is scheduled to be completed soon. They told me they would look into it and call me back. No call back. I called back again, was told the same thing. Repeat two more times. I never received a call back from DaBella as they repeatedly promised to do.
Finally the sub contractor calls me on a Monday saying they will start the job on Wednesday. Two days notice for something that will turn my house into a construction site. If they had bothered to communicate with me I would have told them that week wasn't good as I was on vacation!
They start the job and are almost finished and the sub-contractor wants me to sign the final paper work. Not a chance since they still have supplies, the porta potty, and other items all over my property. They also had to take down my outside lights to install the siding and are now saying they can't put them back up because they aren't licensed to. Excuse me??!! Where was the communication stating this? I am certainly not paying even more to hire an electrician to put back up what they took down.
Hello ***
It was so glad we spoke today! I happy that we have come to a resolution that will resolve your concerns.
I appreciate your feedback, without it we could not improve as a company.
Great service.very friendly.explained everything in detail.easy financing, large select of colors and styles. Thanks too Jordan Richmond
Salesman *** came to our house and hooked us up with some new *** siding. Very easy to deal with and the price, for the peace of mind that comes with a full manufacturer and installation warranty!! Can't wait to see the house with new siding...will post another review afterwards, hopefully it is also this positive.
Yesterday ***. and ***. came to my home to give me an estimate on new windows for my 1913 home. I was impressed with their knowledge of the products and the high quality of the windows they showed me. *** and *** were engaging and fun to deal with. They made the experience very enjoyable and educational. I ordered 21 replacement windows and a replacement sliding glass door. Can’t wait to see the results after they are installed. I will let you know how it turns out.
Hi ***,
Thank you so much for the nice review.
I was promised in the contract for roofing to have 2 skylights and 3 solar tubes installed. I wanted them to do this first, but they did the roofing first, then said I never paid for the skylights, and solar tubes. In the contract it was included. They came out and had me sign in April, 2017 the contract showing I owe 17,000 after a 1000 deposit was made, but the job didn't happen til late August. My husband who normally handles the problems was not home to help me deal with these folks. I was harassed to sign a new contract that did not include the solar tubes and skylights by the foreman for the company Dabella, and the sales manager. I was also over charged for the plywood which if the solar tubes and skylights had been installed first would not have been so many pieces of roofing and plywood. They had their sales Manager come by and try to sweet talk me into signing a new contract which would have been more money for less products. Several times he came by without any warning that he was coming. I let them know in no way would I agree to this and would notify the Revdex.com and possibly an attorney. I still want the products installed as they should have been originally and no extra payment as they tried to pull a fast one on us. The roof is considered unfinished until they install or have someone install on their dime, since I already paid for this in the original contract. We would like to resolve the issues identified and be compensated for the problematic contract issues. They left our roof vent and 2 skylights that were intended for installation but no solar tubes were left, and no word on when or how this will happen for us.
Hello *** we have been trying to contact you, please give our office a call so we can discuss this. Thank you
We signed a contract with Reve Exteriors on 7/18/17 to have a new roof put on our home as we had leaks. After measuring, photographing and agreeing to everything by signing an iPad, we were told they would estimate beginning on 9/11/17 & finish on 9/15/17. A financial addendum was signed 9/21/17 due to a mistake on their part. We never heard from them again until after numerous calls we made. We finally got a response on 9/14/17 and two contractors came to meet us and plan the job. They told us they would begin the following morning. It rained, so two workers came in the afternoon and measured again. The following day, Saturday 9/16/17, The original salesman came over, told us a mistake had been made, although not by him, and we would now need to pay more than double the agreed upon amount, or the job had to be cancelled. His manager called later that day to tell us the same. We disagreed. A representative from Beaverton, Oregon called on 9/22/17 and told us the same. She said they would be issuing a check refunding our $350.00, plus a $100.00 gift card for “our trouble”. I told her we did not agree. On 9/25/17 the branch manager called and left a voicemail canceling again.
Reve Exteriors not only denied they had the correct house, even though the outline and address were correct, but they'd not account for a pitch issue on part of the house as well. They had more than enough time to reevaluate the job information in the two months we awaited, but didn’t. It is now October 2, 2017 and we still have not received our money. We have called several businesses for bids on our roof, and the first thing we are asked is, “Is this an emergency?”
We entered this contract fully expecting Reve Construction to be worth their word: “Bringing Home the Dream”. Rather, we waited two months only to be dumped as winter approaches and its too late for anyone to complete our roof unless we pay extra for an emergency or risk having the old shingles removed taking a chance with poor weather exacerbating the problem What is even worse, in the fine print of their contract they can get away with basically whatever they want to, including a poor evaluation.
It is unfortunate that we had to cancel their contract. We have refunded their deposit of $350.00 and included a $100.00 visa gift card as an apology gift for their inconvenience. The monies were mailed out on 9.29.2017. I spoke with the customer today and this matter has been resolved.
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
The contract specifically states in the first page that no oral agreements will be accepted. We have never received written cancellation of this contract. Due to the unethical practices of this company, we have been placed in an untenable position of having waited 2 months only to be told due to their mistakes they refuse to honor their contract with us. We have been left with a leaky roof going into winter. Other companies we have spoken to ask if this is an emergency & will charge accordingly.
Reve Exteriors called us today, right after we submitted the complaint & before corresponding to the Revdex.com & tried to tell us that the technology they used, Eagle View, identified the wrong house, even though we live in the country with no houses close to us that remotely look like ours. The outline was correct as was the address. Measurements and photographs were taken. Reve Exteriors should keep their word & honor our agreed upon contract & financial addendum & try very hard in the future to not take advantage of senior citizens or anyone else.
Sincerely
We regret that we had to cancel the contract in place for this job, however all of our written contracts explicitly state that we have the right at any point to cancel the contract at our discretion. While we never want to cancel a contract with a customer, this situation required it as the price quoted was based on a significant understatement of the materials required to adequately execute the job, due to a mis-measurement of the home's dimensions. While we do have the right to cancel the contract, we offered the customer a revised quote for the proper amount of materials, which they rejected. However, we obviously felt bad we had to cancel the contract with this customer and thus offered the customer a $100 VISA gift card with our sincerest apologies. While we regret the situation we feel we conducted ourselves properly and went above and beyond to apologize to the customer for the inconvenience.

3rd message to Reve Exteriors via Revdex.com. After the first two messages via Revdex.com to Reve Exteriors, we have waited a week with no reply. We contacted the Idaho Falls, ID Revdex.com yesterday, 10/10/17 to inquire. We received an email via Revdex.com this morning, 10/11/17.
Admittedly, Reve Exteriors has certainly covered just about every situation to their advantage within their contract. In retrospect we should have insisted on a legible, printed contract at the time, rather than a small iPad that was impossible to read. We also waited an unusually long time before we received a copy in our email afterwards.
Even conceding that, Reve Exteriors had two full months to correct their measuring mistake. If their “Eagle Eye” system selected the wrong house, perhaps they should use a different one. After all, they had photos and the correct address. Perhaps they could have followed up during the two months of silence, when we were anxiously awaiting their return or any communication at all. That is why they are in business.
Instead, they insisted we sign all their documents in good faith, wait two months during beautiful summer weather, (knowing our roof had leaks the previous winter), and on the day they were to begin, send the salesman to our home demanding an amount triple what we agreed to previously. Why would we agree to that?
Since then we have had rainy, freezing weather with a leaky roof and no options. We have contacted other businesses who ask if this is an emergency, or they simply cannot begin our roof this late in the season, given our unpredictable weather. We have no idea the damage that will occur if we have another winter like last year. In fact, one of the main reasons we chose to go with this company was because they had a large crew who could complete the job quickly. We were told 4 to 5 days.
We signed the contract with Reve Exteriors on 7/18/17. We waited patiently in good faith until 9/7/17 when we started calling the two original sales persons and their office. on 9/14/17 we finally heard back from Reve. Two contractors came to meet us and go over the job. They said they would begin the next morning. ( According to the contract, the estimated start was to have been 9/11/17 and ended 9/15/17.) Two contractors came the next day, remeasured and assured us that although there was also a pitch issue on our front porch, it could be fixed. We would not be charged for any more shingles. The next day 9/16/17, the salesman came to our home and offered us the same job for nearly triple the cost. (He also stated both himself as well as the contractors felt the contract should be honored.)
This contract not only states that no oral agreements are accepted on the first page, but also on the last page states that both parties agree that any change to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. We have yet received a written cancellation of this agreement. Also, just to clarify, we only received an apology after we wrote the complaint with Revdex.com. We understand the original salesman is no longer with Reve Exteriors. It seems that in any circumstances this whole situation would NOT be considered Best Practice behavior. It seems like damages occur to every entity but the originating party. A contract should protect both parties in a fair world. A $100.00 gift certificate does not begin to alleviate our dismay, not to mention the damages.
Sincerely
We signed a contract with DaBella in July and was told that we would have a new roof installed within 6 weeks. When we started calling at the end of August we were told they were scheduling delivery of the materials needed to replace our roof. Several weeks later we had to call again and were informed that delivery of the materials would be the following week. The materials were delivered and we waited again for a call with an installation date. on 9/27/17 we called to find out when installation would begin and were told by someone named Alex that they didn't want to do the job. Another phone call later in the afternoon was made to DaBella and we were told they would call us back within two hours. It is now after 7:00 pm and no phone call.
We have been in communication with this customer and her install will start on 10.04.2017
I found the consiltation with *** and *** very informative. Payment options were very flexible with 0% interest. I learned a lot, and the windows were of better quality than the competition that I compared them to. Also pricing was relativley similar to the lesser windows I had looked at.
We just went through the reroof from hell. Rêve Exteriors LLC was contracted April 29th to reroof our house in 3-4 weeks. It would be a 3 day job. Sounded good. It was completed last Tuesday! Ten days for the original work in mid-June, including vacation time apparently, plus 3 more days this month to finally fix the original botched job so the warranty wouldn’t be voided and to replace the damaged gutters and chimney flashing. They killed our neighbors lawn by throwing down black roofing and leaving it there 3 days over a hot weekend: $300 dollars worth of new sod and labor, money I’ll never see again. I’m still finding roof debris in the gardens that wes never cleaned up. Three neighbors who stopped by looking toward getting a new roof themselves will not be considering these scammers. I give them ?? out of 5 because one employee out of the many I attempted to contact was actually responsive to email, text and phone. No one in the Vancouver office was. And because the crew sent out this month to correct the problems were skilled professionals who should have done the work in the first place. Overall impression: Unreliable, unprofessional, non-communicative, and a bad value for the product delivered. They do have a few honest employees, IF and WHEN you can find them, such as *** and ***.
I bought a new roof at a pretty steep price from Reve Exteriors in Medical Lake, WA. When I was sold the roof I asked the salesman about adding new gutters to the purchase and he told me that I didn't need to buy new gutters and proceeded to tell me how I could repair my old ones. He said the roofing crew would re-hang the old gutters when finished putting on the new roof. Now the project is done and I have no gutters. I signed the completion paperwork and noted on it that the gutters were not re-installed (my bad). I'm at a loss for what to do now since Reve Exteriors has basically put this back on me. I can get estimates from other contractors to get gutters installed; buy gutters from Reve Exterior at a discounted price; or install new gutters myself. I'm almost sure that one complaint from one customer won't matter to such a big company, but I had to try.
Sincere Thank
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
I made the decision to again contact the company to attempt to get gutters before the rain starts. Although I believe the right thing for Reve Exteriors to do is to re-install gutters at their cost, I have excepted a 50% discount for this company to install new gutters on my house.
Thank you for you time
This matter has been resolved as of 9.18.2017
Partial remodel of 2 bathrooms (tubs and showers only - no cabinets, vanity, flooring, toilets, lighting, etc) costing approx $30,000 with terrible results - leaking showerhead, tubs and shower elevated above the existing floor, smaller than stipulated shower stall, poor caulking with exposed seams/gaps, promised cabinet never created, set up with their financing stating it was tax deductible which it isn't, and damaged walls and woodwork. I was conned into signing for additional corrective work (which they did but not completely) with a refund but to find out in the small print that I released them from all responsibility. Although I cancelled within 3 business days they claim I have no basis for complaints or refunds. They did correct the the leaky showerhead, fixed the exposed seam, cleaned up some of the caulking and the tub/cabinet interface. However I still have the following: smaller shower stall than indicated on the contract, the tubs & shower raised above the existing floor necessitating raising the rest of the floor & cutting doors, despite the cleanup there are still areas of bad caulking, never got the cabinet they were supposed to create behind the shower, and aggravation over 7 mos (work started in Feb) - actually over a year as I had contracted with them to replace my windows and patio doors which again did not go very well but the outcome was more satisfactory (this was a $35,000 job) - this is supposed to be a topnotch, high-end contracting company - their work quality is lacking (depending on the contractor used) and their response to the problems slow, painstaking and duplicitous. The poor workmanship and the the need to raise the floors basically for the whole second story is a major cost and aggravation - which I estimate to be worth at least $15,000. This was asked for and their 'refund' of $2000 which accompanied the corrective work was sent back to them.
Dear Ms.,In accordance with the written letter provided and delivered to you by our legal representation (attached), this complaint has no merit and will need to be removed according to the terms of the Customer Complaint Settlement Agreement that you signed and accepted on June 28th, 2017. The agreement states that you accepted our resolution for your situation and refund of $2,000 to cover the concerns you raised, and that no further complaints would be levied regarding your project. Because you entered into an enforceable written settlement agreement which released DaBella Exteriors from all outstanding claims in exchange for that agreed upon refund amount, any further complaint filed here is entirely without merit. We have returned the $2,000 check to you as it is rightfully yours. Please remove this complaint at your earliest convenience as it violates the terms of the legally binding settlement agreement. If it is not removed in short order we ill need to pursue legal action to enforce the terms of the agreement.
