I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, although I disagree with their timeline which states contact was made by me on only one occasion.  I wrote the business on 3 occasions and provided them with proof of my disputes since this issue originated on June 9, 2017.  To assure no further action in the future, I am attaching the last contract I had with Dish Network back in 2013.  To make it abundantly clear to this collection agency that my contract expired in 2015 and thereafter this account was kept open only because I felt like it with no further obligation.  Their client owes me money!

I am rejecting this response because: What are the dates of the said (2) validation correspondences to dispute and may copies be provided. I think this is an Error on the part of [redacted] orsome type of scam.Again, it is my opinion that many years have since past from my involvement with DirecTVand I have not been billed by [redacted] for anything in many years and  I find this claim to be incorrect.it is possible that [redacted] is taking advantage of the fact that customers may or may not retain past documentation on Control Box returns and using that in an unfair fashion to get more money from previous customers like myself

Avalidation notice was mailed to the address matching what was provided in the communication to theBetter...

Business Bureau.Upon investigation of this complaint the call on 03/16/2017 was reviewed. We do not find the agentwas rude or evasive. The agent provided her name, our company name on our location. The party onthe phone would not confirm if she was [redacted].Due to privacy, Convergent Outsourcing is unable to disclose personal and private informationwithout identifying we are speaking to the correct person. When the party on the phone declined toconfirm if she was, or was not Ms. [redacted], the agent had to professionally end the call.In response to receiving this communication from your office,the account with T-Mobile has beenclosed in our office. Should Ms. [redacted] have any inquiries regarding this account, she may contact TMobiledirectly.We appreciate the opportunity to respond.

Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. is not Dynamic Recovery nor do we have any affiliation withthis company. Upon researching this complaint, we conducted a google search. We found that thereis a company identified as Dynamic Recovery Solutions, LLC located in South Carolina.In response to this communication, we have closed the account in our office and returned it to ourclient, T-Mobile. We will request our information be removed from the credit bureaus. To Whom It May Concern, Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. has received Mr. [redacted] additional information. We are sorry to hear Mr. [redacted] was not satisfied with our resolution in this matter. The information reported to the credit bureaus was believed to be reported with both fair and accurate information. Convergent Outsourcing updated this account accordingly, as a paid collection, as stated in our previous response to the Revdex.com. On 01/30/2017, we received a request from our client to have the credit reporting deleted. We are attaching a copy of the deletion request, done by Convergent Outsourcing on 01/30/2017. If Mr. [redacted] has any further inquiries, please have him contact Sprint directly as this account was closed with Convergent Outsourcing on 01/14/2017. We appreciate the opportunity to respond. of $1284.28 on their behalf. The statute of limitations sets forth the maximum period of time, after certain events, that legal proceedings based on those events may be initiated. It is not unlawful to request payment on a past statute account. We have first spoke with Ms. [redacted] on 03/01/2016; at this time she requested we send her a bill. Our next contact was on 03/11/2016 after she received the bill; she called into our office to dispute the bill. The account was then placed in to a dispute status. Our last contact with Ms. [redacted] was on 03/23/2016 where she advised the debt could not be collected, because the account was past the statute of limitations. Ms. [redacted] also asked for a status on her dispute. We advised we are still waiting for the information from our client. In response to this complaint, we are currently suspending collection activity. If Ms. [redacted] has any inquiries she may contact Galaxy Asset Purchasing, LLC directly. We appreciate the opportunity to respond.

their behalf in 4/13/2015to collect a balance of $542.27.Although Mr. [redacted] indicates this is the first communication he has received from Convergent Outsourcing, we mailed a validation notice on 5112/2015 and1/6/2016. This is the first communication we have received from Mr. [redacted] indicating that he disputes owing the balance.In response to Mr. [redacted]'s communication, we have closed our file and returned the account to our client.We have not reported the Bank of America Checking account to the credit bureaus. Jefferson Capital Systems, LLC, has notified us they have terminated collection efforts.The account with T-Mobile was placed in our office on 1/24/15,to collect a balance of $608.64 on their behalf.To date this is the first communication we have received from Mr. [redacted] indicating that he is disputing owing this balance.In response to receiving this communication we have closed the account from our office and returned it to our client, T-Mobile.We have requested our information be removed from the credit bureaus. Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Convergent says they cannot find an account in my name, and they want an account number in order to proceed.  I do not have such a number, because I've never been contacted by Convergent in the first place.  I've only learned their name because they falsely reported a delinquency in my name.  They certainly reported a delinquency to Equifax, yet miraculously don't have a record of my account when it comes time to correct their mistake.  They ended their initial response by asking for my full Social Security Number.  As if I would simply give them my SSN when they have already fraudulently reported me to the credit bureaus and "cannot find a Convergent account in my name".  Convergent can contact me with a secure email, and I would consider giving them more information.  However, considering they have never contacted me in the first place, I will not hold my breath now. I have no faith that this company is even legitimate, other than the fact they responded to the Revdex.com. Unless they take further steps to rectify this situation, the next contact they receive from me will be from my attorney.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:I have not been able to make contact with [redacted] via phone or text because they keep asking for a phone number, and I do not have a phone number associated with the account; in addition, I never received a bill from [redacted], just a collection notice from Convergent...Do they have the phone number associated with the account?  And When was services  supposedly used?  [redacted] is associated with [redacted] but they will not address anything...they referred me to call [redacted]...I have attempted to contact them many times and will continue to try...Perhaps I should bring a claim against [redacted]?Sincerely,[redacted]
